1. New Year, New Moons day is the start of the new year, with new month Abib
2. New Year, change wll be after Tabernacles.
Why do we have two new years. Is it that the new year the first one is based on Old Testament, and the new one is based on the birth of Maschiyah Yahushua?

Is there a study based on the same as well as the importance of calendar change in the fall. Are we losing on years in this way.
What is the meaning of civil year and the difference between the new year which starts with Abib?

I know about the months in the bible, but not yet understand how you calculated them. When did it started, for example the exodus? and explain if there are only three months or tewlve. My name is Steven and I would like to explain what Pauls is addressing here in Galatians 4. Paul is not speaking here of any of God's Sabbaths. He was addressing this to the newly converted Galatians who once worshiped pagan gods. It would greatly help your understanding of what Paul in his letter to the Galatians was warning them against if you begin in Gal 4 vs. 8 instead of vs. 9. Gal 4:8 "But then, indeed when you did not know God, you served those which by nature are not gods". The Galatians were gentiles who did not know or worship the true God. They worshiped false/pagan gods. The "weak and beggarly elements" spoken of here are not God's Sabbsaths. The Sabbath, annual Sabbaths, or any other festivals of the Jews is nowhere mentioned in Galatians. Gal 4:9 says “But NOW after you have known God, or rather are known by God, how is it that you TURN AGAIN to the weak and beggarly elements to which you desire again to be in bondage? “How could the Galatians be returning to something they never observed? The word for elements in the Greek is stoicheia which refers to the "elements of the world" vs. 3 and vs. 9 "weak and beggarly elements" spoken of here are referring to the stars, sun, moon and planets that were associated with their pagan gods/goddesses. It was referring to their pagan festivals which they observed. Duet 18 God called the fortune tellers “observers of times”. These elements of the world had to do with astrology and the signs of heaven that God spoke of the gentiles being dismayed at in Jer 10:2. Why would Paul call any part of God’s law “weak and beggarly elements” or “elements of the world”. This does not make sense. Paul said in Romans “the law was holy, righteous, just and good.” Paul was still observing God’s Sabbath and Holy days. Why would he now call them “weak and beggarly” and “elements of the world”?
The main issue Paul was dealing with was, some of the Jews were telling the Galatians that they had to be circumcised in order to be justified. That in order to be heirs of the promise to Abraham they had to be circumcised. Paul was clearly warning them against this in Gal 5. that justification comes only through faith in Christ and not by works of any law. PRAISE GOD!! I believe the “yoke of bondage” spoken of in Gal 5:1 refers to circumcision and the sacrificial/ceremonial laws and not God’s Sabbath, Sabbaths, statutes, judgments or precepts, which God or Paul would never refer to as a “yoke of bondage”. AMEN??

Dear WLC. I like to ask a few quistions. Before you left the SDA church, did you talk to anyone about these sabbath days on the calander,what did they say? I wasn't sda until year 2000. In my search for truth, I knew Rome had a part to play but all the churches I went to would not talk re:Rome church, some would get mad at me if I would bring it up, so I thought that was odd. I wanted Gods truth so over the years in my search God lead me to the SDA church i went there when they had one of there semenars with Kenneth Cox know one invited me I went on my own, I saw it it the paper.I went to listen to hear what they had to say, No one said anything to me because I did'nt look like them but that was ok, because I was seeking Gods truth not people,But as I listened the pieces of my puzzle was coming together and as I learned more about what they taught, even more came together.I read the Desire of ages, and my heart melted, I know a lot of the stuff is truth. I asked God if there was more for me, I wanted ears to hear. For me the Sabbath for people right now, to walk in is hard. The way the system is. How much harder is it going to be with this new calander,Help me to understand I know God wants people to be faithful to Him. I dont think our goverments going to bring back Gods calander, I am all for everything on Gods day. My question is how? Gods will is perpect and pleasing, Rom:12

Paul and all the other Apostles followed Creator's commands to the letter - not one 'jot or tittle' was nullified - and in this light, Col.2:14-16 is also covered - Paul was encouraging them to continue to observe the New Moon and Sabbath as they were doing - and not to allow anyone to 'judge' them for doing so!

Note 'ARE' present continuous tense (yet - TO COME) - (AFTER the cross!) 'THE BODY IS' present continuous - WE ARE THE BODY OF CHRIST - remaining here on earth - to show forth HIS SUBSTANCE - by continued observance of His "Shadows"- FEAST DAYS etc -- until HE comes!!!
Therefore --
ONLY THE ANIMAL AND OTHER SACRIFICES WERE 'nailed to the cross'- ALL of HIS BLESSED SABBATHS AND FEAST DAYS remain INTACT - until HE COMES - and some are even strongly identified as continuing AFTER - IN NEW JERUSALEM - including the New Moon and SABBATH (Is.66:22,23).

Therefore -
Examine again carefully what they all said, in context, and you will find that they carried out His mandate - exactly!
The only safe conclusion MUST be that if interpreted to the contrary, we are at risk of blasphemy, by making them liars and disobedient to our Redeemer, Whose very authenticity is then called into question!!

Rom.10:3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
Belief results in FULL SUBMISSION!

Look at what they DO to have right to the TREE OF LIFE and to enter the City - New Jerusalem -
Rev. 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Is. 66:23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

Your post immediately reveals that you have not taken time out to study in more detail the special importance of the Sabbath and what it really represents - among many other things too numerous to mention now -
(a) the reflection of Creator's character.
(b) His seal / signature to all scripture.
Look at the seal of the PRESIDENT (his title) of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,(his territory) 2010 (the date) then look at the 4th commandment -- He created (CREATOR - His title) the heavens and the earth (HIS territory) and rested on the 7th day (the date - earth was only 7 days old then!) If this seal / signature is ever discarded, then the entire scriptures are left unsigned by the author!
(c) His standard / sign / flag which we raise to be identified with Him as His people (among all the other so called gods).
(d) His identification as the only One Who sanctifies us.
(e) The day He sanctified / set apart / made holy / after the creation week, as HIS own HOLY DAY, and gave it to MAN for whom it was made - (Adam and Eve) who were not 'JEWS'.
Mark 2:27
And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
Mark 2:28
Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

Q. If it was made for man - would He have kept such a beautiful / necessary gift (of weekly rest) from Adam - and hold it in reserve for thousands of years -- especially for the 'Jews' only?

It was later reintroduced in the wilderness (confirmed by the absence and miraculous preservation of manna) then later written in stone at Sinai to REMIND them - because they had been in bondage in Egypt, and deprived of it under slavery and had 'FORGOTTEN' it -- that is why He said 'REMEMBER' the Sabbath day to 'KEEP it HOLY' - because He had already MADE it HOLY, they were to continue to 'KEEP' it holy!
And if you say it is not for today - read it again - it was also for the animals - so consider this -
Q. Did the cross instantly transform humans and animals into 'super beings' which no longer need weekly PHYSICAL REST? Does it not remain a very practical necessary gift for our well being - just as it did in the 'old' testament? How does 'faith' in Christ fulfill that physical need? There can be nothing found 'weak and beggardly' in the law which reflects the very character of Creator. Paul himself says - Romans 7:12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

You need to complete the eCourses so that you become informed about this life and death truth. We have articles, videos, eCourses, and Q & A covering this precious light; but every one has to study for themselves diligently.

The best way for ensuring that orders placed at the store are honored by the Team is by paying attention to 2 important aspects:

- That points earned my members are genuine content reading and not mere mechanical clicks. The best way for earning points will be through completion of eCourses. Thus, if we see a member who has accumulated plenty of points but has not completed any eCourse, we do not process store orders placed by such members.
- If member's profile is updated with lots of information about the member. This helps to show whether the member is keen to be active in WLC Community. But is we see nothing shared by the member in his/her profile, and no eCourse completed, we more often than not do not process any orders coming from them.

The concept behind the Store is to encourage sincere and diligent WLC members with free resources to even become more rooted and grounded in His truth.

After watching your latest dvd's on the New Moon etc. am I correct if I say that we are only to keep Sabbath from sunrise on Saturday morning until sunset? What about Friday evening?
