I MUST GO (by MM)

I must get up,
and go from this place,
I must leave off,
from being complacent,
and feeling sorry for myself.

The past I must relinquish!
Yes everything  that disturbs
my peace of mind,
I must let go!

I must go,
even though none,
go with me!
Perhaps I must go,
and trail blaze for,
those who are not,
able to go right now!

For then there will be,
a trail for others to follow,
and  like the children of Israel,
up out of Egypt they traveled,
through a wilderness of darkness,
to seek for a new land promised,
to them by God, to possess it.
Yet they could not forget Egypt!

I must go,
and not get stuck,
in the wilderness holding,
on to the old way of life!

I must go,
and possess the,
new way of life,
that is unfolding,
before my very eyes!

For Jesus Christ,
beckons me to go,
and I see all lights are green!
I must go and claim,
what is rightfully mine!
I must go in Jesus name!!!
