Unfortunately, that church does NOT believe that baptism represents the burial of your old, sinful life and coming out of the water representing a new life/creature. They believe that baptism is the way to get the Holy Spirit, and nothing else. I learned of this just last week, and saw the Scriptures supporting this. So... I was baptized twice in the wrong manner, and both times I was rather immature both in body and in spirit. Now that I'm nearly 30, I'm feeling the urge to study the Bible and there's a foreboding feeling to boot. I can't put my finger on it, but I know I must rebaptize very soon. I've begun studying the bible everday, and I'm trying to get my two oldest children baptized, too.
