In reply to 1 Peter 1:9
The outcome of Faith is deliverance from sin (1Peter 1:5)and the reception of the everlasting “inheritance”(v.4) that waits every true Christians at the final judgment.

What is the end, object, or design of faith?
"Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls." 1 Peter 1:9. (KJV)

I think your taking this verse out of context. Before this verse, Peter is speaking about trials that will come (verse 6) but that's it's all good because it's for the result of praise, glory and honor when Jesus is revealed (verse 7). Then on how we believe despite the odds and how we feel joy because we are (Verse 9) receiving the outcome of our faith, the salvation of our souls.

I don't see how this verse say's that we receive the end of our salvation when in context, it seems to rather express the effect of believing, the "Fullness of our faith, the salvation of our souls". - Jorge Figueroa
