Its not FAITH plus your WORKS(obedience) that gives your salvation.... Its FAITH that WORKS.....
Christ died for us because he love us,therefore we should love him back by obeying his commandments.
We don't obey him so we can be loved,NO....we obey him because he already loved us.......
OBEDIENCE is not bad...its good, but it depends on whats motivating you to be obedient....are you obeying him to be saved? or are you obeying him because you are already saved......
The BIBLE says:We love him because he FIRST loved us.....amen.:) - netani coriakula

This article is such a breath of fresh air and a ray of light in a world saturated with DELUSIONS direct from Satan.

The book of Romans is where the Lord directed me to read when I found Him and He me! It was such a wonderful thing to see and understand that his LOVE is found in His LAW and that our obedience IN OUR FAITH to Him is paramount. I especially like chapters 5,6 and 7.

I see by reading some of the comments that there are many who are under the spell of darkness and do not see...suffering from itching ears. (IIThess. 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie)

Please read II Thessalonians 2 verses 7-12 in context.

7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

I see this every day...no love for the truth, they just want what Satan has offered as the easy way out by deception. They find much comfort in the lies...how sad.

Satan "believes" is he "saved"?

1 John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

7 Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.

STILL LOOKS LIKE OBEDIENCE IS A NECESSITY...AFTER ALL WE ARE JUDGED AND CONDEMNED BY THE LAW

I have faith. I "believe" Jesus when He promises to destroy those that do not love Him and keep His commandments. (faith AND works)FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD James 2:17.
And I believe Him when He tells me that I have a place with him because I am repentant of my sins and purpose in my heart to sin no more, and because I love my fellow man as He also first loved me and because I love Him enough to keep his commandments. He does NOT love me because of how GOOD I am or what I do...I can't be good enough in my own flesh...only through Him is there any HOPE. Only through His strength can I walk in His statutes...and I DO. He did it and You can too!!!

Remember that He loves you and he also loved AND killed every man woman and child on the planet with the exception of the eight in the great flood. YES he loves you...but will have to destroy YOU if YOU do not overcome sin. Narrow is the way and few will find it, He said few NOT many! The many who choose the lies are the majority of the "Christian" world today. The 2nd death is awaiting those that love NOT the truth and would willfully follow the teachers of lies. There only a few of us that accept the truth and of the few not all will be saved because not all have a solid foundation and will be swept away in the coming tempest. Satan is going to make it very easy to defect and very inconvenient to obey God. Most have already willingly accepted the mark of the beast and there are going to be billions of dismayed "Christians" who took the easy way and chose to believe the LIEs.

LOVE HIM...SERVE HIM IN OBEDIENCE...WITH GLADNESS OF HEART SPREAD THE TRUTH...AND GO HOME WITH HIM

say it like it is disobedience leads to death. If Adam and Eve had obeyed God in all His Glory there would never have been any thing like sin. now because of this Jesus Christ had to come and i thank God He did, for our lives could be different, as long as we choose to live according as His word says {obedience}.His blood was shed so that we would have life more abundantly, i think its reason enough for us to obey and live. - Natalie Monsegue

Disobedience can lead to death. If you check in the Book of First kings the story of the Prophet who had been assigned by God to delievr a message to Israel and he disobeyed by eating in a certain prophet's house.Later the voice of the Lord came upon the Older prohet saying Because He had disobeyed he was going to be die.Onew must repent from disobedience because it is a sin.A number of Pastors run away from the work of God just like what Jonah did but there are problems which will make tem come back. But its not good to wait for the problems so that you can understand God and His assignment - gerald Vambire

confusion, twist of scriptures

It is simple about the salvation of man kind , no need of somany volumes of articles and twist of Scriptures.
He died for us, Risen again and He is in heaven to prepare the mansions for us when he takes us back during second coming. We need to prepare ourseves for His Second coming. That is so simple. You need to accept Him as your personal saviour. He will lead you how to lead.No doubt God had made Sabbath for man, it does not mean that some body wish to worship God inaddition to sabbath and any other day will God refuse us.It is matter( accepatable manner)how you approach your saviour NOT on which date and day. Please do not confuse people and do not get confused with volumes/Tons of Literature. - Rufus P.Nelson

hi WLC,

the more i read your articles the more i see the twisting of scriptures. Joh 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Joh 15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
Joh 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Joh 15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
the qeustion is what's your objective to have such twisted scriptures? are you trying to deceived the world more in order to sympathize with the devil? Mat 18:7 Woe unto the world because of offenses! for it must needs be that offenses come; but woe to that man by whom the offense cometh!

May Christ Jesus the One True Living God be gracious and merciful to show you the truth and may set free from the bondage of heretics! Mat 18:7 Woe unto the world because of offenses! for it must needs be that offenses come; but woe to that man by whom the offense cometh!
Joh 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Serving Christ Jesus,

MS

God's gift

Salvation is a gift of God through Jesus Christ. Man has 0% contribution for his salvation. Eph.2:8 is always reminding us that grace, faith, and salvation is a gift of God. Rirghteousness cannot be attain by doing good works but it is by faith. When God gave the Ten Commandments, God reminded Israel that He gave it to them because they were already free from slavery because God had saved them (Exo.20:2). God was telling them that they can keep His laws because they already saved. As Doing good works is just a demonstration of our faith to God and it shows that the person is already saved. - Felix Candilasa

Matthew 3:13-17, 4:1-10
13) Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to John, to be baptized by him. 14) John would have prevented him, saying, "I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?" 15) But Jesus answered him, " Let it be so now; for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness." Then he consented. 16) And when Jesus was baptized, he went up immediately from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and alighting on him; 17) and lo, a voice from heaven, saying, "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased." 4:1) Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. 2) And he fasted forty days and forty nights, and afterward he was hungry. 3) And the tempter came and said to him, "If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become loaves of bread." 4) But he answered, " It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.'" 5) Then the devil took him to the holy city, and set him on the pinnacle of the temple, 6) and said to him, "If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down; for it is written, 'He will give his angels charge of you,' and 'On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.'" 7) Jesus said to him, " Again it is written, 'You shall not tempt the Lord your God.'" 8) Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them; 9) and he said to him, "All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me." 10) Then Jesus said to him, " Begone, Satan! for it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.'"

               WRONG CONCLUSION / SAME NEED!

It is far too easy to jump to the wrong conclusions as we look at our
own situation and the situation of others. Like Job's friends we need to be
careful of drawing the conclusion that only good things happen to good
people and bad things happen to bad people. Perhaps the "why" of some
circumstances may never be answered, but we must guard against drawing wrong
conclusions while still recognizing an ongoing need.

As the time drew near for Israel to enter the promised land, they needed
to be reminded they were not receiving such a gift because they were so
good. (Deuteronomy 9:4-5) They were reminded how rebellious and stubborn
they had been. (Deuteronomy 9:6-7) It was actually by God's graciousness
they were receiving their inheritance. God was driving out the other nations
"because of the wickedness of these nations". (Deuteronomy 9:5) The nation
of Israel needed to continually bear in mind their need for REPENTANCE,
while at the same time acknowledging the GRACE of God toward them.

Even the disciples jumped to the wrong conclusion when they observed a
man who had been born blind. (John 9:1-2) They thought sin was the cause.
However Jesus made it clear that was not the reason, but that "the works of
God might be displayed in him." (John 9:3)

On another occasion some people told Jesus about Galileans whose blood
Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. (Luke 13:1) Jesus responded by
steering away from drawing the wrong conclusion while pointing to the need
that remains for us all.

   We read. . .
"(2) And he answered them, 'Do you think that these Galileans were
worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered in this
way? (3) No, I tell you; BUT UNLESS YOU REPENT, you will all likewise
perish. (4) Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed
them: do you think that they were worse offenders than all the others who
lived in Jerusalem? (5) No, I tell you; BUT UNLESS YOU REPENT, you will all
likewise perish.'" (Luke 13:2-5 ESV)

Simply because such things happen does not mean those to whom they
happen are necessarily any worse than those (including ourselves) to whom
they did not happen. However, the need for a PENITENT spirit remains the
need. We are blessed not because of our own goodness, but because of the
goodness of God to extend His GRACE. Praise God He does not treat us as our
sins truly deserve. (note Psalm 103:10) We should be ever thankful for His
great compassion and mercy toward us. Still, it is the PENITENT heart
continually turning back toward Him and His Will that receives the GRACE
needed by which our sins -- that would otherwise separate us from Him -- are
forgiven. May we humbly acknowledge our short comings and repent of our sins
as we praise God for His amazing GRACE!

Mark 3:22-25
22) And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, "He is possessed by Be-el'zebul, and by the prince of demons he casts out the demons." 23) And he called them to him, and said to them in parables, " How can Satan cast out Satan? 24) If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25) And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand. 26) And if Satan has risen up against himself and is divided, he cannot stand, but is coming to an end. 27) But no one can enter a strong man's house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man; then indeed he may plunder his house. 28) " Truly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they utter; 29) but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin–" 30) for they had said, "He has an unclean spirit." 31) And his mother and his brothers came; and standing outside they sent to him and called him. 32) And a crowd was sitting about him; and they said to him, "Your mother and your brothers are outside, asking for you." 33) And he replied, " Who are my mother and my brothers?" 34) And looking around on those who sat about him, he said, " Here are my mother and my brothers! 35) Whoever does the will of God is my brother, and sister, and mother."

holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and My reward is
with Me, to give every man according as his work shall be." Revelation
22:11, 12.

The righteous and the wicked will still be living upon the earth in their
mortal state--men will be planting and building, eating and drinking, all
unconscious that the final, irrevocable decision has been pronounced in
the sanctuary above. Before the Flood, after Noah entered the ark, God
shut him in and shut the ungodly out; but for seven days the people,
knowing not that their doom was fixed, continued their careless,
pleasure-loving life and mocked the warnings of impending judgment. "So,"
says the Saviour, "shall also the coming of the Son of man be." Matthew
24:39. Silently, unnoticed as the midnight thief, will come the decisive
hour which marks the fixing of every man's destiny, the final withdrawal
of mercy's offer to guilty men.

"Watch ye therefore: . . . lest coming suddenly He find you sleeping."
Mark 13:35, 36. Perilous is the condition of those who, growing weary of
their watch, turn to the attractions of the world. While the man of
business is absorbed in the pursuit of gain, while the pleasure lover is
seeking indulgence, while the daughter of fashion is arranging her
adornments--it may be in that hour the Judge of all the earth will
pronounce the sentence: "Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found
wanting." Daniel 5:27.
