After reading the article about Revelation 17, people often ask us, would we be willing to admit we were wrong in case the next pope after Benedict XVI does not appear as John Paul II? The answer is yes. Bible prophecy is full of symbols and is often mysterious to people who are not Bible students. With this fact in mind, we must be careful to allow the Bible to interpret its own symbols. The interpretation presented on Revelation 17 on our website is not based on guesswork, but systematic study. We are sharing the best and most Biblical interpretation of Revelation 17 that we have come across and its message is of the utmost urgency. It is based on a source of predictions which has never yet missed in its prophecies, which leads us to have no doubt that what is presented will come to pass. We are always open to new light and will continue to carefully study the Bible under all circumstances in order to sift out the truth concerning these momentous events and share it with others.

Hello Allan
Our article teaches that King Benedict XVI is the seventh who must reign for a short while. I say this for the record. John Paul II was the sixth.
I hope this clarifies the point.
In His love and service,

He must continue a short space
written by Allan Robb, October 06, 2009
It appears to me that WLC is saying that according to Rev 17:10 this present pope is the sixth king and must continue a short space. Am I correct? But Rev 17:10 seams to say that the king that is to continue a short space is not yet come, which is the seventh. So if the seventh king is not yet come; then the seventh king is the one that must continue a short space. The time of the vision is during the time of the sixth king, is is not?
