WHAT CAN I DO?

19. The end of all things is at hand. I want to be found ready to receive my Lord Jesus Christ when He comes. What should I do?

The purpose of this study is to awaken beloved readers to the shortness of time between now and the end of all things. We have seen that we are living in the time of the seventh king, the last human pope. God has informed us, in His written Word, that the eighth king will transform the Roman Catholic Church by bringing her out of her wilderness experience and back to her former persecuting-beast status. The eighth king, a devil impersonating John Paul II, will usher persecution for God's people who obey His Sabbath day. The time of the eighth king/beast will witness hitherto unseen false miracles and signs, which will exalt the papacy in the eyes of all who are not written in the Book of Life: "The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is."Revelation 17:8.

In the near future you shall find that your only safety will be in the Bible: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them."Isaiah 8:20. That is why today the Bible must be our only infallible guide and rule. God's word is our sole safeguard against the influence of false teachers and the delusive power of spirits of darkness that enshroud the world today. Satan can most readily control the minds of those who are unconscious of his influence. That is why the word of God gives us so many examples of his malignant work, unveiling before us his secret forces, and thus placing us on our guard against his assaults. And that is why Satan employs every possible device to prevent men from obtaining true knowledge of the Bible, for its plain utterances reveal his deceptions. At every revival of God's work the prince of evil is aroused to more intense activity; he is now putting forth his utmost efforts for a final struggle against Christ and His followers. The last great delusion is soon to open before us. Antichrist is to perform his marvelous works in our sight. So closely will the counterfeit resemble the true that it will be impossible to distinguish between them except by the Holy Scriptures. By their testimony every statement and every miracle must be tested.

Those who endeavor to obey all the commandments of God will be opposed and derided. In order to endure the trial before them, they must understand the will of God as revealed in His word; they can honor Him only as they have a right conception of His character, government, and purposes, and act in accordance with them. None but those who have fortified the mind with the truths of the Bible will stand through the last great conflict. To every soul will come the searching test: Shall I obey God rather than men? The decisive hour is even now at hand. Are our feet planted on the rock of God's immutable word? Are we prepared to stand firm in defense of the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus?

If you become alarmed for your own soul, if you seek God diligently, He will be found of you; but He will accept no half-hearted repentance. If you will forsake your sins, He is ever ready to forgive. Won't you just now surrender to Him? Won't you look to Calvary and inquire: "Did Jesus make this sacrifice for me? Did He endure humiliation, shame, and reproach, and suffer the cruel death of the cross because He desired to save me from the sufferings of guilt and the horror of despair, and make me unspeakably happy in His kingdom?" Look upon Him whom your sins have pierced, and resolve: "The Lord shall have the service of my life. I will no longer unite with His enemies; I will no longer lend my influence to the rebels against His government. All I have and am is too little to devote to Him who so loved me that He gave His life for me – His whole divine self for one so sinful and erring." Separate from the world, be wholly on the Lord's side, press the battle to the gates, and you will win glorious victories. Will you resolve to obey Him, as of this very minute, no matter what the price for such obedience? Will you resolve to share this light with others, so that we can truly hasten our Lord's second coming?

Blessed is he who heeds the words of eternal life. Guided by "the Spirit of truth", he will be led into all truth. Though he will not be loved, honored, and praised by the world, yet he will be precious in the sight of heaven: "Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not."I John 3:1.

We expect that what you have asked will be a great part of the fulfillment of - Revelation 16:12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. -- which represents the withdrawal of the great majority support from Babylon, of those now deceived by the apostasy including man made traditions now practiced in the attempted replacement of YAHUWAH'S law. Preparing the way of the kings of the east (YAHUSHUA and all who are on His side), includes our effort now being made to restore Creator's truths, in the promised spirit of Elijah, just like John the Baptist. A prominent Rabbi, who believes in Yeshua, believes that Islam will play a significant role, and even more so an Orthodox Rabbi made a compelling argument that Islam and Christian/Catholic world will make a pact to see the destruction of YHWH's faithful followers and believers. I read through the piece on Next and Last Pope, and th Youtube on the forgotten commandment. Though not a Catholic, I seem to worry over the spate of attacks on the faith by some supposedly christain faiths and the Jehovah's witnesses. I may not be a fire brand bible scholar but am aware that as Peter defended his ministry to the house hold of Cornelius: God is not a respecter of any person...In every nation him who is GODLY is acceptable to him. I firmly believe that the law of the sabbath is immutable,however some adaptations to modern day technologies need be considered e.g kindling of fire, travel distance e.t.c Let more importantly focuss on Godly attributes and the mystery of both creation, salvation (redemption) and restoration will become clearer. +1

As a catholic myself who is also in search on the truth I came to this website. To be objective I also researched on both sides. The WLC/SDA view and Catholic view There are strong arguments on both sides and it comes down to the interpretation of the Bible. Various churches interpret the Bible to suit thier beliefs. For an example the woman in Revelation (Rev 12:1) can be be identified as THE CHURCH (The Church with the 12 stars symbolizing the 12 Apostles who were the foundation stones of the Church [Rev 22:14]) ISRAEL ( Rev 12:5; Isaiah 7:14; 9:6; 66:7.8; Micah 5:2; Romans. 9:4,5) or MARY THE MOTHER OF JESUS (The literal interpretation refers to MARY Because in Rev 12:5 it says that the Woman gave birth to Christ.) Its a pity that we as christians spent most of the time finding fault with each other than working together. Lets first examine ourselves than to remove a speck in our brother eye.
