| Why do you believe that God sacrificed Jesus to atone for sin, and why do you believe God punishes people for the mistakes of their ancestors? |

Answer: Most people who call themselves Christians believe those things, so it is only natural that you should ask. We believe that all people are judged on the basis of whether or not they have transgressed against the ten commandments, for sin is the transgression of the law (1 John 3:4). We do not believe in original sin, that God punishes people for the mistakes of their fathers. We believe that Jesus died on the cross and was resurrected, because the Bible tells us so (Matthew 28:6,7, et al.). We believe that Muslims err, when they say that Jesus did not die. But his death did not atone for the sins of the world as Protestants believe. The atonement has been taking place through Jesus’ intercession before God in the heavenly sanctuary since 1844, according to Daniel 8:14. There is not a single unequivocal statement throughout the Bible, in all its 66 volumes of the Protestent versions or in the 73 volmes of theRoman catholic versions,where Jesus claims to be God or where he says_worship me'Nowhere does he say that he and god Almighty are one and the same person. The last phrase above_"one and the same person"tickles many a"hot-gospeller"and "Bible thumper"not excluding the Doctor of Divinity and the Professor of Theology.Even the new converts to cristianity have memorised these verses.They are progrmmed like zombies to rattle off verses,out of context,upon which they can hang their faith.The words"ARE ONE"activates the mind by assocation of memories"Yes",say the Trinitarians-the worshiper of three gods in one God, and one God in three gods_"Jesus did claim to be God"wHERE?
