An Appeal To Russell Standish

Dear Dr. Standish,

I am happy as well to hear from you. Needless to say, you along with all the other leaders of the so-called Historic/Independent SDA movement are saddening our Lord Jesus Christ beyond measure. For you continue to document brilliantly the apostasy within the SDA Church, yet, I ask: for what purpose you do so, if you do not carry it to its logical conclusion [giving the 'come out of her my people' call on behalf of our Lord]? It is hoped, you argue, that a revival and reformation somehow would miraculously, in the not-too-distant future (do you want God to wait on His people perhaps another 100 years?), take place in SDA church. But, my dear Dr. Standish, this is again wishful thinking, and runs contrary to the Bible, SOP writings, and recorded history of the Israelites. It will never happen; as it never happened with literal Israel.

Again, the reason I make this appeal to you is because I have an interest in your soul. You will not only lose your soul for disobeying God, but you will bring on you the blood of all those who listen to you and refuse to leave the SDA Church, copying your example. Just imagine if all the leaders of the independent ministries, for once, decided to obey God and leave the SDA Church- in protest- to follow the Lamb. If this were to happen, how many SDAs would do like wise? I would say many. But, alas, you ignore God's call and lead those souls to their perdition, along with your own souls as leaders.

You may argue that when the National Sunday Crisis comes, we will leave then the SDA Church. But it is not up to you to set the timing. The right timing is set by God. And it is NOW.

I will be happy to receive your latest book or any of your books in electronic form. I always find a wealth of information in them. I pray for the day when a book would be written by you and your twin brother entitled: No More Baal Worship: We Are Out.
