Page 6 of 8 Submission of the Son to the Father How does the Bible demonstrate the submission of Son to His Father, the one God?And ye are Christ's; and Christ [is] God's. 1 Corinthians 3: 23 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman [is] the man; and the head of Christ [is] God. 1 Corinthians 11: 3 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him. Ephesians 1: 17 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who [is] above all, and through all, and in you all. Ephesians 4: 5, 6 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under [him, it is] manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. 1 Corinthians 15: 27, 28 Conclusion: The one God, the Father, has made His son His equal in nature, character, and purpose; His full and only co-partner. This reality does not negate, however, the submission of the Son to His Father, who is the one God, who rules over all including the Son.
