Has the Bible prophesied that all recognized churches will apostatize before the Second Coming of Christ?

Yes, Isaiah 4:1 depicts the condition of the all recognized churches today: "and in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach." This prophecy tells us that at the end of time "seven" (7 symbolically means "all", "totality", "complete", i.e. 7 days of creation, 7 last plagues, 7 years of famine, etc.) or ALL, "women" (or churches - churches are often symbolized as women in the Bible, i.e. Rev.12:1 vs. Rev. 17:3, etc) shall take hold of one man (they will claim to have a relationship with Jesus - which ALL the churches profess today) saying, We will eat our own bread ( They reject the true Bread of life - Jesus and His teachings, see John 6:51, and prefer rather to "eat" their own false doctrines and traditions - see Isaiah 8:20), and wear our own apparel (they also reject the pure, white robe of Christ's righteousness and prefer their own system of works and self-righteousness - see Isaiah 61:10; Rev. 3:4, 5, 18) but they say: only let us be called by Thy name (despite of their rebellion, they want to be recognized, why?) to take away our reproach. They don't want their shame and disgrace to be seen due to the fact that they are teaching falsehood and are not part of Christ's church, but in reality they are one of the shameful, harlot daughters of Babylon!

Since, today all the churches are feeding their members a mixture of truth and error which removes God from their midst, He has commanded us that whenever truth is mixed with error to “come out of her my people” (2 Corinthians 6:14-18).

I feel very strongly about our preachers nowadays -they do not teach God's Commandments at all - I think hardly anyone in the church knows the full 10 commandments. At these times they should be telling us about prophesies in the revelation but I have heard none from the so called churches (I am from Hong Kong)so I have searched on line myself and I am very lucky to find your website which has given me accurate information so that I am not so confused.

Home churches
written by JACK@JURUS HAIDIN, November 27, 2009
I am new on this site,i was an evangelist church members, since i recognize this community(WLC)I truly regard the teachings that their claim, because there's a truth there. For my opinion,we can still join to any organize church if they 100% base on the bible teachings and nothing else. What we can see now days,A church mixing truth and error to deceive people,to blind people eyes from knowing the real truth of God,till we unable to obtain the salvation of Christ. The real matter why we need establish home church? to away from all the poisoned spiritual foods they had provide to feed their members. For us that is very dangerous its can lead us to death in the end.

Who is the Church?
written by Miguel Ico, June 22, 2009
Please tell me who is the Church. Is it not true that the people is the church and not the building. Why does Paul say not to forsake fellowship with each other. How sure are you that if i were to have a home church that the Spirit of God will be there. No one knows the heart except God. Why then should you judge people knowing that we are all sinners and have come short of the glory of GOd?

I agree with Wesley Taitague. We should not quit our church and have a church at home unless we are very far away from any church. We just have to be aware so that no error or false teachings make their way into our church. But I think too that home groups are necessary to begin a church. It will not stay forever as a home group or a church at home but it will increase in number and become a church. When it becomes a very large church, small groups can begin somewhere and they will eventually become churches. Churches should not disappear to make room for little groups but little groups will disappear because they would become larger groups called churches. That has always been the case since the begining of the first churches, I think.

Personal Relationship
written by victor olusina Turner, June 20, 2009
The answer to all this commotion is simple encouraging believers to develop personal relationship with the Holy Spirit. It is the spirit of Truth. Nothings else will matter when the Holy Spirit speaks to you. You have a conviction. We hear all manner of things from the pulpit; it takes a relationship with the Holy Spirit todeiscern immediately that what you are hearing is not the truth! God Bless you all for the great Workand thanks for the books. They are really beautifully package. Will delight to read. ]

Not to Draw Apart
written by Wesley Taitague, June 20, 2009
God’s counsel through the Spirit of Prophecy is not to draw apart from His designated church. The passage above in Isaiah 4:1 cannot be depicting God’s end time church as stated in Revelation 12:17, since we are told that the forces of hell will not prevail against it (Matthew 16:1smilies/cool.gif. God has always had an identifiable people that have the oracles of truth to present to the whole world.

The passage is speaking about the churches that call themselves Christian, but do not follow the teachings of the Holy Scriptures. The Seventh-day Adventist while not perfect is founded on solid principles that are in complete harmony with the Word of God.

Further the Spirit of Prophecy foretells the shaking of the church and the result of that shaking will be a purified church. It may appear to fall, but it will not because it is founded on Christ Himself.

Here are a couple of quotes from Selected Messages Volume 3 that counsel us not to leave God’s corporate body.

When anyone is drawing apart from the organized body of God's commandment keeping people, when he begins to weigh the church in his human scales and begins to pronounce judgment against them, then you may know that God is not leading him. He is on the wrong track. Ibid p. 18

There are opportunities and privileges in the church to help those who are ready to die, and to inspire the church with zeal, but not to tear the church to pieces. There are plenty of opportunities in the church to walk in Christ's lines. If the heart is full of zeal to press on to a deeper sanctification and holiness, then work in that line in all humbleness and devotedness. The church needs freshness and the inspiration of men who breathe in the very atmosphere of heaven, to vitalize the church, notwithstanding the tares are among the wheat. . . . ibid p. 19

No advice or sanction is given in the Word of God to those who believe the third angel's message to lead them to suppose that they can draw apart. This you may settle with yourselves forever. It is the devising of unsanctified minds that would encourage a state of disunion. The sophistry of men may appear right in their own eyes, but it is not truth and righteousness. Ibid p. 20

God is teaching, leading, and guiding His people, that they may teach, lead, and guide others. There will be, among the remnant of these last days, as there were with ancient Israel, those who wish to move independently, who are not willing to submit to the teachings of the Spirit of God, and who will not listen to advice or counsel. Let such ever bear in mind that God has a church upon the earth, to which He has delegated power. Men will want to follow their own independent judgment, despising counsel and reproof; but just as surely as they do this they will depart from the faith, and disaster and ruin of souls will follow. Those who rally now to support and build up the truth of God are ranging themselves on one side, standing united in heart, mind, and voice in defense of the truth.--Letter 104, 1894. ibid p. 23

There may be instances where members of the church are not able to attend a church because of distance. In that respect it is appropriate for them to setup a home church. Eventually as the church grows it can apply for a company status within the church body and finally become a full church.

God never intended for His end time church to work independently of each other. The small home churches mentioned on this site was just the beginning and the church was not to remain as such. They were all to be unified together.

We cannot afford to trust in the wisdom of the world, we must trust in the wisdom of God. We are to be unified in Christ, not to work independently of the body of Christ. Can a hand work separately from the body? Certainly not! A home church that is not connected with the main body will eventually … “depart from the faith, and disaster and ruin of souls will follow”… Selected Message, Vol 3, p 23.

We must test all things by the Word of God. There may be texts in the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy that appear to support a certain course of action, but taken in it’s entirety it is not in harmony with the whole Word of God.

Indeed, home churches definitely have the advantage of having a sense of unity and "family" more than larger congregations. I encourage you to start your own home church, I'm sure it will be a blessing for you and others as well. God bless!

Home Churches
written by Scott Putzier, February 13, 2009
To Fredburn:

Your point is very valid and well taken.
Let us look at the differences between established churches and home churches.
In the early days of the Church they gathered in homes. A home setting is much more appealing to me because I would know everyone there. As everyone gets to know each other trust is gained and people become closer. I belong to what would be called a mega church today. I feel welcomed there but know very few people. I don't feel close to them, except the person who first took me their. In a home church, if a person starts to fall away it would be easier to bring them back because of the closeness and love that is felt in the church, or home. It would more like the Jesus wants us to have, "A family of believers."

I have only been a Christian for 4 years. However, I would much rather worship where I knew and trusted everyone else, rather than worship in a mega church where I only knew one person. I hope that all of this makes sense. I believe now that we should start building a True Church. One that is fitting to be called "The Bride of Christ."

God bless you all

good point, Fredburn
written by Natalie K, January 17, 2009
Hello Fredburn,

You have made a good point. We must bear in mind that sin can and will exist everywhere until the end of time, even in churches, so basically, yes, it all depends on the individual. Salvation is not a group event, it is an individual matter. Now individuals make groups, and it is strongly encouraged by example and evidence that group Bible studies and discussions are necessary, which is what we mean by home churches. Sin will always exist, yet the group that studies together should agree that sin should not be taught or excused.

Unfortunately, there is no denominations that is currently teaching full Bible truth, all have adopted one or more errors in relation to Bible truth, which is why we encourage home churches, who will hopefully be more flexible in adopting and maintaining truth.

This is just to prevent the mixture of truth and error.

In His love and service,

Question to WLC.
written by fredburn myers, January 16, 2009
Based on Rev.3:12 and 20, it appears that after admonishing the Churches our Creator moves the emphasis from the 'group' to the 'individual', which was always the basis of salvation. When 'HOME' groups are established, won't apostasy also exist therein, although on a smaller scale? It still boils down to the individual, dosn't it? smilies/cry.gif

WLC stance on "Church" involvement
written by fredburn myers, January 16, 2009
I have separated myself from the 'ESTABLISHED' Churches as a result of the apostasy I see being practiced. I am not perfect in my own life but just cannot be comfortable anymore under the false teachings etc. After being deceived in Sunday worship and other false doctrines for over 30 years, I now am compelled to find the TRUTH. I have seen so many things in scripture, contrary to what I previously believed! My advice to any true seeker of truth at this point is to get away from the many denominational pockets of doctrine and prayerfully ask the blessed Holy Spirit to lead and guide to HIS truth which can only be ONE TRUTH. His best blessings are yours!

Response to Sandra Qualiano
written by galal Doss, November 20, 2008
Hello Sandra
Thanks for posting your note. We do not agree with you on the point of tithe. We feel this is the Lord\'s sacred portion, and we are not at liberty to use it for our own needs. This would be rubbing Him. At the same time, we do not believe that it should be given to churches that are fallen or unfaithful to His truth. And with today all churches being corrupted and fallen, it becomes all the more difficult to find avenues for spending His tithe. But He will show how to spend it when you resolve to be faithful. To give you a practical illustration, some of us at the WLC Team are using our tithe and offering to support the ministry of WLC. For we believe that this would be the right use of His money. You can with His money print books or buy truth filled books, or even Bibles, and pass on to others. But please do not feel at liberty to use His portion for your own needs, even when you are living on SS. He will bless your portion after you set aside your tithe and offerings in a multiple ways. This is His promise. We have an excellent content on this subject. Click on this link http://www.worldslastchance.co...Itemid=372.
May the Lord strengthen your faith to resolve to be faithful with your Creator.
In His love and service,
WLC Team.

HOW TRUE...
written by Sandra Qualiano, November 19, 2008
WELL I TOO HAVE SEEN MANY FALSEHOODS IN CHURCHES AND I AM STILL NOT COMPLETELY INVOLVED IN ANY AND WILL NOT BECOME A MEMBER EITHER...I GO BECAUSE I NEED THE FELLOWSHIP OF OTHER BELIEVERS AND THE BIBLE IS PREACHED THERE.I DONT THINK THAT THE MESSIANIC "OLD TESTAMENT LAW" SHOULD BE USED ANYMORE. TO CONVICT US. AND THEY TELL US THAT WE MUST TITHE TO GET TO HEAVEN..I LIVE ON SS AND CANT TITHE SO I FEEL GUILTY WHEN THEY PREACH TITHES...I GIVE MY OFFERINGS TO GOD AND GIVE WHAT I CAN AND I BELIEVE OTHERS SHOULD GIVE TO THE CHURCH WHAT THEY CAN AFFORD AND BE GRATEFUL TO GOD FOR EVERYTHING AND HIS SALVATION WAS FREE SO WHY SHOULD WE FEEL GUILTY?
