Who do you serve? Written by INEMESIT BASSEY, August 03, 2010
My dear brethren I soly rejoice when I see people making much points on WLC I am sure it is marvelous in God's eyes.
But the question that bothers me most is: where are we heading to and what will be our goal? Because sometimes I will be having good times with friends and I almost forget that I am in the world but suddenly when I realise that I am in this world I will feel somehow bad because anything concerning this world is temporary and most of this things comes from man which will not last for long so one should focus on God. because He has promised to supply every need we have. The Bible says: "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus". That's Phillipians 4:19. Now notice, God has obligated Himself only to the extent of our needs. That would include food, clothing, shelter, companionship, love, and salvation thru Jesus Christ. It would not include the multiplicity of luxuries that we have come to think of as needs. God has promised that His grace is sufficient for us. (II Corinthians 12:9). in fact, He has made provision for our salvation by His grace through faith. Read Ephesians 2:8. It is through an obedient faith that we have access into the grace of God according to Romans 5:2. God has promised that His children will not be overtaken with temptation. Instead, He assures us that a way of escape will be provided. This promise is recorded in I Corinthians 10:13. Jude wrote: "Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present your faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy" (Jude v 24). Darius, King of the Medes, said to Daniel, "Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee" (Daniel 6:16). He did deliver Daniel from the den of lions. God has promised us victory over death. He first resurrected Jesus by way of assuring our resurrection. Peter said: "This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we are all witnesses" (Acts 2:32). Paul wrote to the Corinthians: "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures" (I Corinthians 15:3,4). Later on he adds: "but thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ" (I Corinthians 15:57). God has promised that all things work together for good to those who love and serve Him faithfully (Romans 8:28). It may be difficult for us to see and understand how this is accomplished at times, but God has promised it, and He will deliver. God has promised that those who believe in Jesus and are baptized for the forgiveness of sins will be saved. (Read Mark 16:16 and Acts 2:38). God has promised His people eternal life (John 10:27,28). In closing, let me appeal to you to live so that the promises of God will be yours. May the Lord give us wisdom to have joy only on things above. Thanks |

12 QUALIDADES DO JOVEM LÍDER Written by jose roberto, August 03, 2010
Response to Victor Samson Written by Fred Myers, August 02, 2010
As simple as it might appear, finding a new quiz every day (without repeats) is in itself a mammoth task - bearing in mind that there are literally hundreds of questions already attached to our Bible Study eCourses. Some of these are designed to compel search of the scriptures in those 'dust gathering' non routine areas which are not often visited. The Bible includes everyday life, with everyday people. Not every event can be a David and Goliath scene. However, every person named in scripture, male of female, is of some import which we might not recognize until we meet in New Jerusalem.
We could possibly consider how to accommodate your personal volunteer input to compile an appropriately exciting, 'objective and mind sharpening' list to cover say a 6 month period. Of course it would have to be edited against our very extensive past and future ones to avoid repeats etc. - and that in itself would be another big task. How say you 'Samson the Victor' from Maharashtra, India? (smile) In His love and service WLC Team |

Women in Bible History daily Quiz. Written by Victor Samson, July 31, 2010
Dear WLC. I'm a daily watcher of Bible Quiz.Of late I'm coming across rare names connected to only women in history which I hardly touch in routine bible context..Can we have objective type of questions which will sharpen our minds as by now it appears to b getting monotonous..This is my very humble suggestion.

I grew up in a family that Considered itself Christian, but we seldom attended church. When i was the 16years,I met a young man who were very different from most men I knew.I had seen him passing my house from time to time sometimes waving. Then One day he stopped to talk. His name was Lawrence ,But i knew nothing about their believe in God,I said.He is an invention of people who needed a church in life,I felt confident in my answer because i had visited a number of churches in My Area,And they all seemed phony.Lawrence, was polite but persistent, and while still standing Outside of Our House. We began talking about God.I asked many question About God and science and was impressed that each of his answers was backed up with bible texts.Lawrence returned often,But my father wouldn't let him inside the House,So we sat outside.Lawrence shared his faith and love Bible texts, and questions. We become friends, and son i became convenience that God was real and that Lawrence knew him personally.During One of Laurence's visits I accepted Jesus as My savior.I was changing, that I was reading My Bible and praying. My father warned me about getting serious with a man who had a strange Religion.Whenever we are together,Our conversations always turned to God,for God was such an important part of Lawrence life.He invited me to some evangelical meeting at his church.I went when i could and realize that the Adventist church was where i belonged.IT was real, the people were real, their face was real.I told Lawrence that i wanted to become an Adventist. We already had study the doctrines,So one sabbath i slipped away to church and I was Baptized. When my father learned i had been Baptizes,he told me to leave the House so now.I leave with my pool mother who sell at that market.I don't regret my decision to follow Christ, even though my father want let me near my sister for fear.I 'll contaminate her.And i probably would. Please pray that my father's hearts will be softened and that He should accept Jesus into his life. And thank you for supporting mission, which made it possible for me to meet Christ.

I have observed that for a long time, I have denied the points I make from both Daily Quiz and the Ecourse study. The most recent is yesterday, when I completed a course of the ecourse and was congratulated but my points were not updated. It seems I have lost quite a lot of points through this denial.
I will very much appreciate an explanation and an update of all the points denied. Yours In His Service Maxwell Ufomba |

Response to Roland Smith Written by Fred Myers, July 05, 2010
Please do not be discouraged! We know that you want to have 'perfect' scores with the maximum points. However, we believe it is better to lose some points and gain a better understanding of the lessons for implementation in your life. The objective of the Quiz is to help plant firmly in your mind / heart and life, the truth as presented in scripture. Many of the questions and answers are designed to show up and eliminate popular doctrinal errors. Prayerfully read over the lessons as many times as it takes, make your notes in the space provided at the bottom then go to the Quiz and do the answers, Do not 'SUBMIT' until you are certain that all answers are correct. Sometimes it is best to move on to another section - YAHUWAH might even show you the correct answer elsewhere! ALSO you can look at other member's profiles and connect with those who have already completed the Lesson you are doing and get some assistance, Or form a study Group and help each other! That way, our WLC FAMILY grows stronger and more closely knit. We do not recommend that members copy correct completed answers to each other, but help with guidance in the studies only, so that the better goal of fully understanding the lessons is achieved. You will be pleasantly surprised how much clearer, expanded, and satisfying your knowledge and accomplishment becomes with such persistence.
If after you will have given the above a fair trial, you are still 'stuck', please contact us again with a copy of your answers and we will try to assist further. (Just place an (x) beside your answers or highlight them in bold print). WE WILL GIVE YOU HINTS, SO THAT YOU WILL BE BETTER ABLE TO IDENTIFY THE CORRECT ONES. May you be greatly blessed as you press on to the mark of the high calling and 'Study to show yourself approved unto Yahuwah, a workman who needs not be ashamed, rightly dividing His WORD of TRUTH!
