The Bible confirms that all
have sinned and have come short of the glory of God. But at the same time, the
Bible gives the good news that God has provided for us through the infinite
grace of His Son the goal of Christian perfection. This can be attained through
the grace of God, for where sin abounds, grace does abound much more. Romans
5:20.
Below, are some promises
which reveal clearly that character perfection is achievable by the grace of
our Lord Jesus Christ:

therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." Matthews 5:48
"Now unto
him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before
the presence of his glory with exceeding joy." Jude 24
"Who gave
himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto
himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works." Titus 2:14
"Christ in
you, the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every
man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus." Colossians 1:27, 28
"Till we all
come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a
perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ." Ephesians 4:13
"That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of
water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not
having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and
without blemish." Ephesians 5:26, 27
"I pray that you would see that we have indeed been given all
the grace we need to be overcomers. But unto every one of us is given grace
according to the measure of the gift of Christ." Ephesians 4:7
