The Creator's Diet

There are only a few gifts of Eden left to us untarnished by sin. The stars in the sky, love in marriage, and communion with Yahuwah on the Sabbath day.

There is yet a fourth gift still available to us. In the idyllic environment of Eden, the Creator provided humanity with the perfect diet consisting of fresh (organic!), raw vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, and grains - free from refined sugars, refined oils, or any other man-made ingredients. We may have the privilege of enjoying this gift today, insofar as circumstances permit us.

Our Father made no mistakes when He created the earth, nature, and man. He did not fail to provide the human body everything it needed to be properly nourished. Man has erred by attempting to improve on what Yahuwah made by refining and processing foods as well adding foods that our bodies where not created to utilize.

Truly healthful cooking is "intelligent selection of the most healthful articles of food, prepared in the simplest and most healthful manner." The Signs of the Times, September 30, 1897 par. 4.

Our Father views the art of properly preparing food with such importance that He equates this one talent as being equal in value to ten other talents. (Counsels on Diet and Foods, page 251).

Because of humanity's interference with Nature, cooking has become a necessity for almost everyone in order to make certain nutrients more accessible and to destroy the natural toxic constituents and antinutrients in food. But one should keep in mind that the fresher the vegetables, fruits, nuts, and seeds are and the closer they are to their garden-state, the better they are for us.

"[Yahuwah] . . . is trying to lead us back, step by step, to His original design,-- that man should subsist upon the natural products of the earth." Ibid., page 380.

"[T]he food which [Yahuwah] . . . gave Adam in his sinless state is the best for man's use as he seeks to regain that sinless state." Those who seriously want to be translated alive to meet Yahushua in the air at His coming will make their best efforts to return to the Creator's diet. Ibid., page 460.

"Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of . . . [Yahuwah]." 1 Corinthians 10:31.

These WLC recipes adhere to the principles explained in Heaven’s Healing. We encourage you to read Heaven’s Healing so that you can create your own health-giving recipes and transform your old favorites into healthier ones.

We avoid the use of all refined sugars and refined carbohydrates. We also avoid using free fats including all commercial vegetable oils.

To understand why we do not use baking soda, black pepper, vinegar and many other common food ingredients we encourage you to refer to Counsels on Diet and Foods.

We also do not encourage the frequent use of soy products for many reasons amongst which are that soy bean products contain trypsin inhibitors which interfere with protein digestion. They contain high levels of phytic acid which reduces the assimilation of calcium, copper, iron and zinc. As well as containing phytoestrogens which disrupt the endocrine function and are potent anti-thyroid agents.
