God states in 2 Peter 1:20: "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." These verses preclude any individual’s private interpretation as being valid or worth being considered. So that being the case then we must let the word of God do the interpreting. Let us take another look at the beast of Revelation 13 and our understanding of it and see if it lines up in conformity with the Bible:

Let’s look at these facts regarding the Beast––666, to which all those titles apply:

1. It was to arise among ten divisions of the Roman Empire (Daniel 7:8).

2. It would destroy three of the ten kingdoms (Daniel 7:8).

3. It would speak great words against the Most High (Daniel 7:25; Revelation 13:6).

4. It would wear out the saints of the Most High (Daniel 7:25; Revelation 13:7).

5. It would be guilty of blasphemy (Revelation 13:6; Daniel 7:25).

6. It would attempt to change the divine law (Daniel 7:25).

7. It would exercise its power over all kindred's and tongues and nations (Revelation 13:7).

8. The dragon would give his power, his seat, and his great authority to this beast (Revelation 13:2)

9. It was to continue in world domination for a period of 1260 years (Revelation 13:5; Daniel 7:25).

10. It would receive a mortal wound (Revelation 13:3).

11. It would amaze the whole world, for it’s deadly wound would be healed (Rev.13:3).

We have clearly established with 11 points supported by both ecclesiastical and secular history, and these points these can only apply to the Roman Catholic papacy. What support can you give for your interpretation other than speculation and opinion my friend?

We must not forget that regardless of what may seem certain and inevitable to us that “...the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever He will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.” Daniel 4: 17. Let us give you an example: While the ancient city of Tyre was at the height of her power and glory, while it would seem that she must stand for ever, along came Ezekiel, who prophesied about 590 BC and pronounced that Tyre would be destroyed so thoroughly that the very dust would be scraped from her and only bare rock would be left and that she would never be rebuilt (See Ezekiel 26:4-14).

The object of this example is in response to your mention of the vast number of Muslims and why they are not factored in. We dare not engage in speculation and conjecture. We can therefore only interpret such a vital and significant prophecy as Revelation 13 according to the rules and mandates of the Bible. The Bible has clearly stated that it is the papacy that will be the principle figure in the last, great spiritual battle before Jesus returns in power and glory, and that is what we believe it is our duty to teach and proclaim, by God’s grace, until we can no longer do so.

WE ARE OVERCOMERS

Why do you not see at World's Last Chance that the First Beast of Revelation 13 is Islam and not the Roman Catholic Church? I think that this question is not necessary because it will only bring hatred and aguement between the christians and the muslims, the facts are in the bible - and if there is anything wrong with their own belief, i think the best thing to do is say it and leave the rest to GOD.

The sabbath day can be either Saturday or Sunday even monday, but what i don't understand is.... will the differences of letters and figures make GOD to forsake his Sons and Daughters,? i think the answer is NO!!! because after the creation of heaven and earth; GOD rested on the seventh day, but no one can tell the exact day because then the days, weeks, month as we call it now was not in formation like today.I think it is wise for us not to forsake the gardering of the saint; i.e the church. So as a church which is the body of christ and the temple of GOD - if it is acceptable by the congregation that once in a week they will forsake all their activities and businesses to worship the ALMIGHTY GOD and rest, then they have obeyed the LORD. Apart from the church, as an individual we can creat at least a day for GOD depending on how spiritual and how matured.
I think what GOD is saying is..... always set aside at least a day to worship him.

Islam VS Roman Catholic

Islam has fulfilled none of the above prophecies about the beast. Like someone said... a house divided against itself cannot stand. (It didn't originate from Abe Lincoln, in fact). Islam is divided against itself. Half the world's Islam is in jihad... the other half abhors what the jihading Islamic guys are doing. Even within the jihad factor, there are divisions and likewise are there in the non-jihading group. The Roman Catholic church, more specifically the Vatican/Pope/Papacy, are 100% in unity with one another without one faltering step. They are the ones who caused the Middle Ages. They are the ones who imposed Sunday law, they are the ones who changed the Sabbath, they are the ones forcing people to call the pope their spiritual father instead of God, etc etc. The list is so long I'm not even going to stratch the surface. Oh, one little tidbit I think you'll find interesting. The Vatican/Roman Catholic church has murdered more people than all the world's wars, institutions, and skirmishes in mankind's history. Jesus prophecied this - he said people will do great things... and terrible things in His name. All this points to the Vatican, and the others point to the UN in the political-wise prophecies, of course. There's the EU, the one world currency the Bible warned us of.

Sad thing is 99% of the word is now being softly conditioned... until we are able to easily accept everything without protest - with the exception of true Christians, that is.

In your 9th point you stated 1260 yrs, shouldn't that be 1260 days? which is 42 mths as per Rev. 13:5.
It may have just been a 'typo' or am I missing something?
