Home Q&A Sabbath I Worship God Everyday Not Just on the Sabbath

I Worship God Everyday Not Just on the Sabbath

We can consecrate ourselves every day but we cannot consecrate all days to Yahuwah (i.e. abstain from work every day). The seventh-day Sabbath is a holy day where nothing should interrupt us from dedicating this time in worshipping Yahuwah, healthful rest and holy deeds (i.e. helping those in needs and ministering to the sick etc.).  On other days we need to commune with Yahuwah (1 Thes. 5:17) continually. But the seventh-day was set aside by Yahuwah for us to dedicate theday for Him.

Yahuwah created Man; man therefore owns everything to Him; hence it was the benevolence of the Creator that gave to man six days for his wants. And in setting apart the seventh day, Yahuwah was reserving unto Himself one of the seven days, when He could rightly claim all as his. (The same concept as tithe).  The fourth commandment therefore does not require man to give something of his own to Yahuwah. To observe this day is to render to Yahuwah the things that are His; to appropriate it to ourselves is simply to rob Yahuwah.

A question to ponder is: Are we following men's traditions or Yahuwah's commandments? While reflecting upon this question, remember that Yahushua said, "If you love Me, keep My commandments." John 14:15. Just as a mother tells her child “if you love me you will want to please me by obeying me,” Yahushua loves us unconditionally but determines whether we love Him if we obey His word. The whole issue here is not wrapped around a day; it is a matter of OBEDIENCE. Will we do what Yahuwah has asked?

Yahuwah expects us to be holy every minute of the day, every day of the week. “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” Matthew 5:48. To keep ourselves holy means availing our hearts to His Spirit to obtain the needed grace to overcome sin. This we need to be doing at all times.

Keeping a day “holy” means ceasing from doing our daily routine of work, and setting this time for worship and doing that which is Yahuwah's.

The fourth commandment stipulates that Yahuwah gives man six days to go about his own work while leaving the seventh day exclusively for Yahuwah's worship and work. Man cannot properly keep all days of the week “holy,” as explained above, and simultaneously attend to everyday duties and responsibilities. Above this, Yahuwah has told us to work 6 days and rest the seventh day. (Exodus 20:8-11). The true 7th day Sabbath and all of Yahuwah's other sacred appointments can only be identified by His true original Luni-solar calendar, details of which can be found at the link -http://www.worldslastchance. com/luni-solar-calendar-guide. html .
