Most everyone who worships
on Sunday instead of Saturday believes that they are thus commemorating
Christ’s resurrection. But Christ never said that His resurrection should be
thus commemorated. When telling His disciples that He was to die, be buried,
and rise from the dead he never mentioned that Sabbath would be transferred to
Sunday. Paul says, “For he spake in a certain place of
the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his
works…. 8For if Jesus had given them rest,
then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. 9There
remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 10For
he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as
God did from his.” Hebrews 4:4, 8-10.
God
ordained baptism (not Sunday observance) to remind us of Christ’s resurrection:
“Buried with him in
baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation
of God, who hath raised him from the dead.” Colossians 2:12. Also 6:3-12.
Even after
Christ’s resurrection from the dead, His disciples continued to worship on the
Sabbath day: “But when they departed from Perga, they
came to

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

I would think that it does not matter the day of worship, just worship the Lord anytime, anywhere and very minute of the day, the Lord would accept Christ's Resurrection.
reply-
Our lord of the Sabbath, gave us Baptism as pointed out in the above article to celebrate His blessed resurrection - He knew that would be greatly treasured by us.
It is because of this very reason and many other points of crucial importance/significance surrounding the 7th day Sabbath why the enemy has imposed SUNday as a 'substitute'.
I invite you to study the subject of the Sabbath more closely - you will soon realize that it is not just a 'suggestion' but a LOVING GIFT of LOVE and a command from our Creator which we should observe BECAUSE we LOVE Him!
The Sabbath is not just a day of rest - it is the commemoration/celebration of the birthday/creation of heaven and earth and the identification/recognition of our Creator. It is His signature/sign/seal/flag/standard which we raise high every week in corporate worship to His honor/glory.
If you take a little time to look closer you will see immediately that it was very special to our Creator and Redeemer, Who sanctifies. All the other days in creation had an 'evening and a morning', the 7th day Sabbath was not so defined - it was actually a special - SEPARATE CREATION - HIS OWN DAY - on which He 'ceased' from His completed 'work' of creation. This special day was His SIGNATURE to His completed work of ART (of CREATION). HE gave us HIS OWN SPECIAL DAY of rest as a gift of love for Man, land, and the beasts!
Sure, we worship all the time , everyday, but it is very special dedicated corporate worship which is required on the Lords specially appointed 7th day Sabbath. If you worship like that every day, then the Sabbath is nothing special, and we do not honor Him the way He deserves, ON THE DAY HE APPOINTED/SET APART/SANCTIFIED/MADE HOLY with a special BLESSING in it. Such a day CANNOT be substituted/changed by anyone. He certainly did not change it. Rather He reaffirmed it at the end of His 2nd CREATION - that of our REDEMPTION - after He said "it is finished' He rested in the tomb on the Sabbath, giving it DOUBLE meaning and significance, rather that 'abolishing it' as the majority now claims. Its significance is reaffirmed in New Jerusalem (ISAIAH 66:22,23)
Its neglect/substitution has led to the watering down of the authority of HIS WORD and has left humanity without the identity LINK with creation/Creator. This has opened the door wide to facilitate theories such as EVILution - human beings, made in the image of the Creator, searching for some nonexistent MISSING LINK to complete making MONKEYS of themselves. Do you see the slippery slope?
Please do not take this lightly, or treat it as being LEGALISTIC -- it is a LOVE situation between us and our LORD OF THE SABBATH. 'If you LOVE, Me KEEP my commandments' It is so very simple -- our Love results in OBEDIENCE.
We do not keep the commandments to be saved, RATHER --- BECAUSE we are saved!

Matthew 12:38-41 Yeshua gave the sign of Jonah. Just as Jonah was in the belly of the fish for three days
and three nights so the Son of man will be in ther haert of the earth three days and three nights.
If Yeshua was crucified on the Friday there is no way that the resurrection took place on the Sunday.
So to use the resurrection as Sunday is not scriptual.

now, look at my view on this
Exodus 20:8-11 says 6 days work(Sun-Fri)
Im quite sure friday while the crucifiction was talkin place Jesus was workin on NOT to show anger. believe you me thats a job within itself
Ok he dies SUNSET friday RESTS Saturday and back to work on Sunday.
just that simple you dont have to worship on sunday cause He woke up. He woke up cause He had to finish out his mission but Saturday (7th day) HE RESTED. Who beggs to differ?
