More than ever, the WLC Team believes that the light of Rev 17 as shared in our site will be fulfilled to the letter. Up to Sept 2008, one element was missing: global economic despair. Prior to Sept 2008, we were counting on natural disasters to bring about this prophesied global economic collapse. However, the prophesied economic collapse is happening without major natural disasters. This does not mean that there will not be natural disasters. But the collapse is coming a lot faster (for the reign of the 7th king “must continue a short space” Revelation 17:10).
We need to remember that Satan will not send one of his evil angels as the 8th and last king, until world leaders have exhausted every tool within their hands for coming out of this unprecedented economic crisis. Right now, the world is split between hope and despair. The economic signals are mixed. One day the signals are positive, followed by negative indicators the next day. For the 8th to appear now, his arrival would not have the impact it would when world leaders have reached the point of full despair. It seems that we are approaching this stage with speed. Now is the time to submit our hearts to His will and to begin to focus all of our plans and energies heaven-wards. This is not the time to get entangled in earthly matters and affairs. We do not have much time to allow Him to perfect us by the grace of His son. The cleansing process required ahead of His coming is an arduous task and will require full co-operation with divine agencies so our characters are freed from all blemish.
The end is much sooner than any of us think; it is measured in years and not in decades. Soon, we will publish in articles a time-line for end time events based on our understanding of Daniel and Revelation, which will reveal our conviction that the end will be within the next 6-8 years only.
