Sorry to be the one to burst your bubble,in your reply. But you are wrong and have made the same mistake that is common to Christian doctrine. If you would like we can go further and discuss this matter in privet or open forum.

One would tend to agree with your view... but I don't. Heres why. With out the TCC knowing it they are right, and your view is wrong. The reason is this. What does the scripture says about the 4th Word/command? Are we not to rest from our labors? Are we not to conform to the cares of this world? Are we supposed to cause others to violate the 4th command,by doing labor? NO! By doing the 1st day or any of the 6 days a week is a good thing! Consider Shemoth/Exodus 16:22-30 now what does it say, esp.in vs 29,"...Let each one stay in his place,do not let anyone go out of his place on the seventh day"?
We are not limited to just one day of worship, for we can worship on any day of the 7 days, but as to the Sabbath... We are to rest on that day,nor are we to cause anyone to work on that day,for we would also be guilty along with that person for non-rest.And with the knowledge of to rest on the Sabbth, the 7th day commanded rest. We would be held more accountable. As to Ibrim/Hebrews 8:10 please refer to my comment to Mr.Yesudas & others. And then go back and reread Shemoth/Exodus threw Debrim/Deut. As to where we are tto display His Words. As to the celebration on the 1st Sunday of May is wrong! For that leads to the practice of "paganism" because eventually the 1st Sunday would be on the 1st of May,which the 1st day of May is what? "May day",look it up,and you will see that a lot of pagan things are observed on that day. And is also a Catholic's day of worship of the "Queen of heaven's"day. written by Yirmeyahu Yisrael, August 03, 2009
Aw,one would tend to agree with that view, but further study would be the opposite! For we are commanded to write these Words(commands)on our door posts, and on our borders,to ware them on the four corners of our garments,to bind them on our hands and be frontlets before our eyes. As a constant reminder.
In reference to "That He will write them in our hearts and in our minds". Is referring to... #1 "He will write them in our minds". Is to give us the knowledge of what His Words are(Laws,Commands & Right-rulings). So that we would not need someone to teach us,for we would already know them. For where do we keep knowledge? In our minds, not on the bottom of the foot,or where/what one sits on,right? This is the good side of it,however...There is a catch/down side to it as well. For the most part that Christians missed this. Is that there is a catch! And what is that catch? I'm glade you asked! By writing them (His words) in one's mind would eliminate that EXCUSE that is easy coined...I did not know! Because one would know, come the day one stands to be judged and rewarded for...Ones WORKS! #2 "He will write them in our hearts". Question? Where does one keep LOVE? On the bottom of the foot or in one's heart? By writing them in our hearts. This is where we store love,"the love from the heart". Then when we obey Him,this is an act out of the LOVE we have for HIm and the proof of our love as an act out of LOVE. Yes? written by Yirmeyahu Yisrael, August 03, 2009
I tend to disagree with your view, even in it's simplicity it makes since, but! However, that view is to force someone to obey, where is the reward? That was one of the purpose of why HaSatan/Adversary the Devil wanted. Was to force man to be obedient, rather then by choice. If we make the freewill to chose to do so by choice, then we would receive a much greater reward,as an act out of love.
written by Mazin Sweis, May 07, 2009 The commandments of Christ that he has left for us to do without giving us any Burdon to carry is to love one another as He loved us. In this commandment, the Law and the Prophets are fulfilled. Not by honoring the Sabbath we fulfill the Law, but by loving one another. In John 13: 34 -35, we read what Christ telling the disciples just before He was about to be delivered to accomplish the ultimate salvation of mankind. He said: "34 A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. 35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another". How does Paul tell us to fulfill the law? See Romans 13: 8 and try to consider how we are truly fulfilling the Law of Christ who wrote the commandments by His own Holy fingers. Paul says: "Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law". To further emphasize what the greatest evangelist wrote to the Churches of the whole world, Paul instructs us that we can truly fulfill the law by loving one another, not by keeping the Sabbath. Besides Jesus, no one has said it more beautifully or better than Paul himself; he says in Galatians 5: 14: "For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself". When you gather to partake from the body of Christ, you don't do it in a Saturday morning or Saturday evening, you do it during the resurrection day of the Lord. On Saturday, the Lord was laid inside the tomb dead, while on Sunday, the Lord resurrected and brought the salvation that all human needs to enter the kingdom of God. Rebuke the Devil and forget not the command of our Lord to love one another. Give Glory to God and rest on the Sabbath, but don't participate in taking the body of Christ on the Sabbath. On that day He was resting in the grave! Take it on Sunday; on that day, He resurrected and gave everlasting life to all those who believe in what he had done for us. We love Him and worship Him not only on a Sabbath, but during every day of the week, every month and every year, and throughout eternity! Blessed is the name of Christ our Lord and our God! Amen. written by Yesudas Nathan, May 03, 2009
You have rightly said that there is nothing to gain by display of Ten Commandments in public places. As it is writtern on the every human heart, what is to be stressed is the awareness of the commandments by the life of the people professing to follow the cammandments individually, institutionally and organizationaly. The ten commandments are to be practiced in the interactions, policies and conduct of the commandment keeping church and they are not meant to be displayed.
But what is seen in the group which make a lot of noise about the commandments is chaos within and without, the problems which bring shame to the creator who gave the commandments. Even the devil can quote the Bible in his favour. written by Pamela Zahm, October 18, 2008
You have the gift of using simple, yet, direct words to share the message of the futility of trying to legislate morality.I agree 100%.It would be nice if laws could be made which would compel people to be moral, but if that were possible ,the Creator would not have needed to die in our stead. The problem as you stated lies in our hearts, which ,if devoid of the law of love and liberty,is simply not capable of obeying the Creator's commandments. Without His Holy Spirit within us,we are weak lawless souls, prone to every imaginable evil.Praise be to Yahweh for His mercy and justice..Peace be unto you..Pamela
