I feel sorry for most members of the body of christ. Just because there is fake money in circulation does not mean any money flowing in the market is fake. Yes there are fake men of God and fake experiencies, so also are true men of God and true experiences. My encounter of being filled by the spirit came at a time i was skeptical of what is going around me. I hated those born again tongue prayer saints. Some how i became inquisitive and one day siting alone under s tree i was reading the encounter of the believers in samaria. I now ask God if this is real then let him be the one to prove it and not any one of those.......i hated much.Like lightening i felt electrified and was filled with the Holy spirit and started speaking in tongues. From that moment all that spirit of hatrate, bitterness and unholy desire just left me. I found out that i had developed a new desire for righteousness with a hunger for the things of the kingdom. I dont think the devil will do that for me. If the devil can make me want to serve God and leave all those sinful pleasures i used to long for, then the devil most be on his way back to heaven as a saint. Just because you have not encountered some thing does not make it unreal.In fact you are not experiencing it due to your own unbelieve. All things are possible to them that believe. I dont like it when people judge others. What Will those people condemning Benny hinn and others do when they find them being rewarded in heaven on the last day. Will they term God as fake. I believe not all the people from all the denominations will go to heaven.Even some of the so called self righteous keepers of the law will dine in hell. I wont be shock to see catholics in heaven. Leave judgement to God. After all not all believed what Jesus was doing during his earthly ministry. They doubted his miracles as being from God. In fact due to lack of faith of the people of his home town, he could not heal many but a few who had faith. Dont blame Benny Hinn for those who are not healed. Jesus face the same dilema. Read your Bibles and dont be naive for lack of adequate knowlege

How does one know that they are experiencing a moment with the holy Spirit if they have never had such an experience before and the bible doesn't describe what they experienced as an experienced with the Holy Spirit of God?

What is the purpose of the holy spirit manifesting in someone?

What is God wanting to teach us or use us for when filling us with his holy Spirit?

Is it not said that the Holy Spirit is given to those that are obedient only?

I loved this video because it questions what is being done under Jesus' name but is totally not Jesus like. The people in the video acted more like they were under a demonic spell from the people that touched them than under God's manifestation.

for those who agree with this type of behavior. I feel very sorry for you. search the scriptures,and ask God for true understanding. What I saw in thses videos was confusion and anarchy. God does not operate like this. Can you be touched by the spirit? of course any of us can. I can some how understand Ronald's comment. God does talk to us,and we can be in his presence especially when we really need him. He will reveal his glory,and as sinful beings we must fall and bow before him. But convulsing speaking without people understanding you is just satanic. And it is a distraction to allow evil spirits inside the house of God. When one really accepts the whole bible and JESUS as KING of their lives you can not help but follow all of his commandments and become more and more like HIM ,and less like the devil. Satan is the great deciver he has the whole world worshiping on the wrong day. Many of those worship a man who calls himself the vicar of christ. And the rest of the world is in utter and complete darkness. Worshiping the devil, while he disguises himself as buddah, krishna,mohammed and all other forms of religions. Once you deny Christ JEsus as KIng you are not following HIm. May GOD trully reveal himself to those who have not seen his true light,and to the wlc staff the SEVENTH Day ADventist church is still God's remnant. He has not left us. He is sifting out the wheat from the tares and in due time his true church will rise triumphant. PLease stop making us who are still apart of this great faith, look like we are apostates.

this video was really true its because jesus given his authority by healing people was his 12 apostle when he command them to go town to town to perform miracles and driven demons and also healing of the sick people even ressurected a dead man...
on this generation as we seen in this video nothing was true... and no scriptures in the bible was mention for those people who perform healings in the name of holy spirit but those lost spirit driven them to perform such healings as revelation said...satan was then...

You cannot depend on such an experience to the be underlying truth of your belief. There are principles that need to be followed and laws adhered to. It is not just about a rapturous feeling. Feelings can be easily played with in fact they are the easiest parts of us that can be manipulated. We have to be aware, what doesn't fit in scripture is simply not from God.

In the past i was very skeptical for this kind of things, in that period my life as a christian was weak i was disappointed and had almost forsaken the Lord.
One day when i was sitting on the kitchen floor i took a knife to suicide, but something happened. My proud heart started to brake i cried and turned to the Lord asked him for forgiveness i asked Him to accept me back as his son. Then the voice of the Lord came clearly to me. He said Ronald I'm going to take you out and change you, I'm going to use you for my Glory and will show you mighty things you will see my power working trough your life . Then one weak later in the evening when i was praying and praising and worship Him in my house. The presence of God filled my room it was a incredible experience, the power of God felt upon me and i was filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. I had never experienced this before. I started to laugh and to cry, and waves of His glory and love came over me. The power of God came so strong upon me that i could not stand on my feets or even sit on a chair. After laying for hours in His presence i wane go to my bed because next day i had to work. I can tell you i would like to stand up but i was a drunkard alike . The only way i could go up the stairs to my sleeping room was on my knees. I work now in full-time ministry. God has used me to lead hundreds of people to Jesus Christ i have seen many powerful healings and deliverances and have seen many christians life's radically chanced and dedicated to the Lord.
The changing in my life started after i was baptized in the Holy Spirit, and yes the "Kabod" of God was so heavy that i could not stand on my feets.

well i don't agree with this at all ..i know what i feel when the holy sprit falls on me ..and david danced before the lord with all his might he danced so hard he danced right out of his clothes ..and on the day of pentecost the diciples were acking in a way the people thought they were drunk and the very same sprit we can have!!!and the bible tells me that the evidence of the holy ghost is the speaking in other tongues!!

I don't even want to watch this video based on our hurt I was from the previous tongues video which i made a long post. I just hope and pray that this video isn't misleading people into believing that experiencing the holy spirit is wrong. I pray that all the religious spirits be removed and people be open up to GOD and not mans acceptance of what is "normal" praise GOd for the Holy spirit and thank GOd that he so loved the world that he sent His son to have a relationship and NOT start a religion.

After seeing the video so many thoughts flashed through my mind and I am penning them down.I am attending a pentecostal church though I do obey the sabbath and strongly believes the one who is lead in spirit should abide by the commandments of the Lord (was brought up in a Seventh-day-Adventist background).Now I donot identify myself with any church denomination except the `true church of God' which I donot find now,to the best of the knowledge. There are many unscriptural things that happen with the charismatics now as much as with the other non-charismatic churches including the SDA's.
The people are looking for experiencing ecstasy with `minimum pain'. They love this world and it's pleasures,not willing to sacrifice themselves at the cross or `deny the self'.Such believers are now multiplying greatly. There are evangelists who realize this market and cater to `their needs'. So slaying the in the spirit is an easy job of `receiving spirit 'with out any need of the thorough re-orientation of one's life as Jesus and apostles taught. I donot find them firmly footed on the entire teaching of Jesus :
deny the self (Matt 16:24,
suffer the persecution for Jesus (Matt 24:9,
taking up the cross (Matt 10:38
hating the world (Luke 14:26)
dying and hence living in Jesus(Phil 1:21)
Then there are many more teachings like the modesty of the women in their attire (1 Tim 2:9 I Cor 11:7) are just neglected because those who are self-obsessed with worldy beauty will never like these.
And then the prosperity preachers, tele-evangelists in private jets, mega churches, BIG MUSIC, fake receiving of holy spirit, and preaching another gospel not written in bible, a GALA of false prophets: are now in the present world. What ever is shown in the above video is a reminiscent of this phenomena.

But at the same time please do not use this excess as a pretext to speak against the Baptism of holy spirit and also speaking in the tounges. Bible do clearly say about receiving the spirit. (Acts 2:4 Acts 19:6 and more)and it needs to be received. It is a special anointing coming with power. The baptism in holy Spirit will give a believer the power to endure tribulation and suffering in Jesus name. I believe that the powerful early movement of adventists lost it's momentum because they did not understand/accept/realize this in spite of several individuals with in the church pointing it out then. No wonder that they soon lost the vision, to the pathetic extend that I have read in some official adventist document which compares the vast number of SDA institutions and properties spanned around the globe to the 50th biggest multi-national company!

With out the power of the holy spirit the gospel could not reach the ends of the earth (Acts 1:hence God raised a new movement (modern pentecostal in the early part of 20 th century) and with all their defects, gospel could traverse around the world. But that fire was soon quenched since it was not firmly footed on the entire teaching of Jesus.

God will bring up the final revival of the world where the strong message of of HIS KINGDOM will be preached, and he will bring up the final true church (Rev 12:17 & Rev14:12) and I am yearning and waiting and praying for it.

This is where the danger lies, you were basing your experience of being "touched by the Spirit" not on any scriptural proof, but on a feeling.

We are warned to never depend on feelings because Satan can have full mastery over us and deceive us through our feelings. We can never be sure of something when we say "We felt it". It is the easiest thing for us to be deceived by.

The Lord warns us to test everything with the Bible. And when this concept of being slain in the spirit is compared with scripture its true character is perfectly revealed.

I viewed the YouTube video and of course I agree with the Bible Scripture that is on the video. God made us in His image...and the Holy Spirit is to give us knowledge and strength not weakness and not in control of our functions.

Although, I do agree with the message pertaining to that particular video, I have to say that at one time I had attended a non-denominational four corner church. One service that I attended was regardinng annointing and laying of hands. I saw some women carrying blankets or shawls going up to the altar to be annointed, and as I watched they would fall down when touched on the forehead. I was very skeptical thinking "how can they know that they are going to fall down? They already brought their blankets, how phony. But I needed prayer, so I went up to the altar. I was being prayed over by two people, then a third woman with oil on her hand reached out and touched my forehead....the next thing I knew I was on the floor on my back....in a daze. I had such a feeling that I cannot even describe. I felt touched. I felt filled by the Holy Spirit. I have never had that experience again. But I am a Born Again Christian. I know the only way into Heaven is through Jesus Christ, My Lord and Savior! I have been saved since I was 15 years of age. I was saved in the K-Mart parking lot in Fresno, California.
