A friend is a treasure
written by peter kwofie, November 06, 2009

A man was exploring caves by the seashore. In one of the caves he found a cavas bag with a bunch of hardened clay balls. It was as if someone had rolled clay balls and left them out to dry in the sun to bake. They didn't look like much, but they intrigued the man, so he took the bag out of the cave with him. As he strolled along the beach, he would throw the clay balls one at a time out into the ocean as far as he could..

He thought little about it, until he dropped one and it cracked open on a rock. Inside it was a beautiful, precious stone!

Excited the man started to break open the remaining clay balls. Each one contained a similiar treasure. He found thousands of dollars worth of jewels in the remaining ones.

Then it struck him. He had thrown maybe 50 or 60 of the clay balls into the ocean. Then he realized he could have taken homes maybe tens of thousands of dollars instead of hundreds of dollars that he had just thrown away.

Its like that with people. We look at someone, maybe even ourselves and we see the external clay vessel. It doesn't look like much from the outside. Its isn't always beautiful or sparkling, so we tend to discount it.

We see that person as less important than someone more beautiful or stylish or well known or perhaps wealthy. But we have not taken the time to find the treasure hidden inside that person.

There is a treasure in each and every one of us.. If we take the time to get to know that person, and we ask God to show us that person the way he sees them, then the clay begins to peel away and the brilliant gem begins to shine forth.

May we not come to the end of out lives and find out that we have thrown away a fortune in friendships because the gems were hidden in bits of clay. May we see people in our world as God sees them.

Always appreciate every single thing you have, especially your friends. Life is too short and friends are too few in our lifetime.

WHO IS UR TRUTH FRIEND ?
written by peter kwofie, November 05, 2009
WHO IS UR TRUTH FRIEND ?

there was a king in a certain villsge who was soooooo wicked that no body cold come closer to him axacpt him wicked servant . in the same village was a farmer who lived with his three friends . the afrmen loved the first friend and spent most of his time with him . he chrished the second friend because of the pleasure this friend gave him . unfortunately he did not pay much attention to thethird friend .

one day , the king sent his wicked servant to call the farmer. the farmer was afraid to go because no one ever went to see the king and retruned. he therefor begged the wickedservant to allow him to say goodbyeeeeeee to his three friends . the wickedservant readily agred to his request . he went to his best friend whom he loed most and asked him , i have loved you more than any person and follower you whereevr you ask me to go . i am goin to see this king , will you go accompany me to see him? NO " the first friendreplied. his reply picerced his heart like an arrow

The farmer went to his second friend and wanted to find out if he would accompany him to see the wicked king. He told his friend how hehad loved him all thees years. NO" repliedthe second friend; life is too precious . when you go i will definntely find a new friend .'' Then farmer's heart sank and turned cold besause of the harsh (bad ) answer.

Then a voice called ouy ' i will go and keep you company wherever u go ' the farmer looked up and ther was his third friend . he was sooooo sad and greatly grieved. the farmer said i should have dedicated much of my love and time to u when i had the chance

ECCL .12:1 says remember your creator in the days of ur youth befor the days of trouble come and the yreas approach when you will say, i find no pleasire in them
which village was i referring to ? it is entire world. the king of the represent the devil, the servant represnt death and the farmer represent you and i . in truth we, have three friends in our lives. our frist friend is our possessions. when we die they will not say goodbyeeeeee to us , neither will they accompany us to where we are going .our second friend is our family. no matter how moch they cherish us, the farthest they can go with us is to the graceyard. however, our third friend, who is our lord jesus christ, is the only one who will follow us whereevre we go

thank u

NAIL IN THE FENCE

there was a once a little boy who had a bad temper. his father gave him a bad of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence.the first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the back of the fence.over the next few week , as he learned to control his anger , the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down.
He discovered that it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nail into the fence . finally , the day came when the boy did not lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail that was able to hold his temper.

The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone .The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence . He said you have done well my son , but look at the holes in the fence. the fence will never be the same again . When you say things in anger , they leave scars just like these ones . You can put a knife in a man and draw it out . It won't matter how many times you say i am sorry , the wound is still there, but remember that , a verbal wound is as bad as a physical one .
Friends are every rare jewels . they make you smile and encourage you to succeed . They lend an ear , they share words of praise and they always want to open their heart to us . Remember always to say i am sorry . please forgive me '' Whenever some hurts you too thank u its from peter meet me \n This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. God’s Strategy for Victory
written by DANIEL TUMWESIGYE, November 02, 2009
God’s Strategy for Victory

1.Praise
Do not be overwhelmed by the tasks or the situation that is set before you. Remind yourself and God of the great things He has done in the past and our current need of Him to do something great in our situations right now.

2.Humility
When you realise that of yourselves you can do nothing without God, you will cry out to Him in desperation. When we get to that point God will hear us, be moved by our cry and will indeed respond to it.

3.Prayer
Often this will mean confessing to God of the things that go on in our towns and cities, (addictions of various kinds (especially drugs, alcohol abuse, violence, murder, abortion etc. crying out to Him to forgive us and revive us.

Pray especially for forgiveness that we have allowed our young to be filled with various kinds of vile false teaching in our schools, pray against and confess that we have allowed Freemasonry to prosper in our city and our council to twin us with Nablos, one of Israel’s most deadly enemies where many attacks against Israelis are planned and carried out.

4.Pray for our leaders every day
In Exodus chapter 17 verses 8 to 13 we see Moses, Aaron and Hur on the top of a hill overlooking a battle against Israel’s enemies. When Moses arms are supported the advantage is with the Israelites, when they are not the advantage is with their enemies. Would this principle work today? Let’s give it our best shot and see.

5.Faith not fear
Scripture tells us that faith is hearing the word of God, believing it and acting upon it. It can be taking God at His word and trusting Him to do what He has promised. God loves it when we step out in faith in that way.

The Israelites, the former Hebrew slaves who were brought out of Egypt by God’s mighty hand failed to get into the Promised Land for two reasons. Firstly through lack of faith – they would not act on God’s word in obedience when He spoke it, and secondly through fear, they were afraid to step out and trust Him to do what His word has said He will do.

They were afraid to move out. Any vehicle can be guided to go in the right direction provided it is moving. If for any reason it will not move it cannot be guided in any direction whatever. Likewise had the Israelites stepped out in faith and taken God at His word, if they did anything wrong God would have guided them and very soon put them back on the right path.

6.2 Chronicles chapter 7 v 14
“If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, pray, seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then I will hear from heaven and heal their land.
These are the strategies that have be given by God to His people in every revival that we can establish took place, since the days of Jehoshaphat through to the revival on the Isle of Lewis in 1949 when the breakthrough came in that place.

The victory was won by Jehoshaphat as we have read in 2 Chronicles chapter 20 because they had God’s strategy for victory. In Luke chapter 15 verses 20 to 24 – the parable we know of the prodigal son, we read that as soon as his father saw him move towards him even though he was a long way off he acted quickly to respond to his son’s return home.

Could it be that when we cry out to God in utter desperation, confessing our sins, the sins of the city and the nation along with the sins of ourselves and resolve to respond to His commands that our Heavenly Father would take similar action and bring us back to His ways and countless other souls be drawn unto Him? Let’s give it our best shot and see what happens.

God has been so merciful that just yesterday in the church came a testimony of how a brother had an accident from calabar going to Abuja, and died his remains was taken to a morgue where he stayed for 2 days, meanwhile his brother who is a member of our church was called and right there he started declaring that there shall be no loss according to, the book of exo 23-25 that God will fulfil our days, then he ordered that his brother should be brought out of the mortuary, just then the dead brother who has been there for two days shoke his body and was rush to the hospital and behold came back to life, now what is that problem or situation that is steering you in the face, confront it and speak life to it . it shall resurrect, there is no close case with God. may His peace remain with you all

Many times I ask myself if God still forgives me despite of all the bad things I've done...a long search for an answer has finally over when I finally know that..... the best thing about LOVE is that...it forgives, it hopes , it believes and it loves again no matter how many times it has being hurt...and that the best thing about GOD is that HE is LOVE....

Lord I know you're always there
written by Bernadette Penn, October 26, 2009
Hello, this is my first entry, so I thought I would share one of my poems entiled Lord I know you're always there. On my way to work one day, I look up in the sky and I said to myself, Lord, you created everything on this planet, give me the words to write to let people know this is your work. This is what he gave me.

Lord I know you're always there, you say how do I know? well let me share
I see the sun come up in the morning, I see the moon come out at night
I see the birds fly by like lighting, as they spread their wings in flight
I see the dew in the morning after it falls to the earth, I see the rain as it comes down and it pushes the dirt.
I see the flowers come to life as they bloom in the spring, with their bright beautiful colors
its such a marvelous thing!
I see the stars in the sky, in suspended animation, I see the clouds roll by as they take formation.
I see dogs and cats as they take their naps, I see bees fly around as they collect their sap.
I see people on the street as they scurry about their day, I see children wrestle as they play.
I feel the wind on my face, as I watch it blow the leaves on the trees,
I watch the ripple of the ocean, as the fish swim in it with ease.
I watch the waves rush the shore and then roll back again, I see them toss the boat to and fro
from where it was to where its been.
Even under the sea is a site to behold, because God created it, truth be told.
So if you're going through a trial and you're having doubt, just look around you, he's working it out.
Or if you're feeling blue and in despair, dial J-e-s-u-s cause he's always there.

May God bless
written by Norman Rodriguez, October 25, 2009
Good evening beloved. What a beautiful Sabbath once again. God has surely blessed this day. As we draw to the close of another Holy Sabbath, I pray that our interaction with the Father has prepared us for the challenge ahead. Let us go out into the world and spread the good news. We have not ime to waste.

A Prayer for You

Today I said a prayer for you
That God may bless and protect you
I prayed that he may guide your feet
And normalize your soft heartbeat
I pray that God may send the words
That may come forth form out your mouth
That every pain within your being
God may remove such things unclean

Today I said a prayer for you
A prayer that you may not feel blue
But happiness alone may be
What I may see come forth form thee
And everything within this prayer
I pray for you dearest dear
May come from he who knows what’s best
A gift form God’s own treasure chest

When You see me

When you see me here,
With sword in hand and eyes intent
It’s just because
Humbled and weak
My heart is weak
The truth I seek by
God I’m sent

When you see me here
Resolved and sure seem insecure
The spirit works
I come for hope
For truth I grope
End of my rope
God is my cure

When you see me here
A soldier lost, searching, searching!
It’s once again,
I’ve lived in vain
Can’t bear the pain
Broken and stained
For Him I’m burning

I am the child he spoke about
Who turned away and turned about
And then returned to walk the path
That saved my soul form Heaven’s wrath

So when you see me sitting there
Or standing tall amongst you here
Oh worry not and have no fear
For God’s great love has brought me back
He said to me, “My child beware!”
Turn away form sin and death and Satan’s lair
And then I said,
“You God I fear."
