Unlocking Truth: How WLC Transitioned to Partial Preterism

Unlocking Truth: How WLC Transitioned to Partial Preterism

The Core Mandate: Commitment to Truth Above All

For World’s Last Chance (WLC), the pursuit of biblical truth has never been a static destination; it is a dynamic, lifelong journey of discovery and obedience. We have never claimed infallibility, nor have we ever suggested that our team has reached the absolute end of all scriptural diligence. Rather, we remain profoundly humbled, acutely aware of our human limitations, and totally dependent upon the ongoing guidance of the Holy Spirit.

When WLC first began broadcasting and publishing, our consuming passion was to awaken a sleeping world to the reality of the end times. In doing so, we naturally leaned upon the prophetic frameworks that seemed the most urgent and widely accepted among independent biblical researchers at the time. However, true spiritual discernment requires a willingness to test all things by the Word of Yahushua, even when it means laying down deeply cherished interpretations.

Over the turbulent decade from mid-2010 to mid-2020, our ministry underwent a profound theological transition. This text documents that journey, showing how a systematic re-examination of Scripture compelled us to abandon anxiety-driven models of futurism and historicism, ultimately leading us to our current anchor in partial preterism. We articulate these reasons, fully aware of the negative connotations often attached to the term “preterism” in modern theological circles. Yet we stand here unashamed, because honesty demands that we follow the weight of scriptural evidence wherever it leads.

The Landscapes We Left Behind: The Crisis of Traditional Models

To understand why WLC arrived at partial preterism, one must understand the landscapes we left behind. Historically, Christians have viewed Bible prophecy through four primary lenses: Futurism, Historicism, Idealism, and Preterism. For years, our ministry operated heavily within a hybrid framework that blended elements of historicism and futurism.

In the mid-2010s, our media campaigns were filled with urgent declarations regarding upcoming world events. We looked at the geopolitical chessboard—the papacy, the United Nations, Middle Eastern conflicts—and attempted to map these realities directly onto the symbols of the Book of Revelation. We published intense warnings concerning the Seven Trumpets, expecting literal, cataclysmic blasts to shatter the modern world at any moment. We scrutinized the succession of Roman pontiffs, attempting to fit modern individuals into the highly specific criteria of Revelation 17.

However, as the years ticked by, a growing crisis of consistency emerged in our research room. We found ourselves constantly wrestling with the traditional prophetic models, which were visibly failing under the weight of their own systemic flaws.

The Problem with Futurism

Futurism forced us to rip the Book of Revelation completely out of its original context. It required us to believe that John, writing to seven real, historical, suffering churches in Asia Minor, sent them an encoded letter that would be utterly useless to them for over two thousand years. It turned the Apocalypse into an incomprehensible, terrifying roadmap of modern geopolitical anxiety, leaving early believers in the dark while exalting twenty-first-century speculators.

The Problem with Historicism

Conversely, Historicism presented a different set of insurmountable bottlenecks. While historicism rightly attempted to find fulfillment within human history, it often degenerated into highly subjective, Eurocentric allegorizing. Every generation of historicists inevitably rewrote the symbols to match the headlines of their own day. A historical reading of Luke 21 or Revelation 13 frequently contradicted a strict, literal application when forced into a chronological sequence of Western European history.

Furthermore, our own past misinterpretations—most notably our attempts to map modern figures onto the kings of Revelation 17—served as a stark wake-up call. Critics were quick to point out these errors, with some even citing Deuteronomy 18:20-22 to claim we were false prophets. We responded directly to these charges by clarifying that WLC has never claimed to be prophets; we are independent biblical researchers. Our errors were not false direct revelations from Father Yahuwah, but rather misinterpretations of complex symbols born from flawed interpretive systems.

When Scripture proved our positions wrong, we did not double down out of pride. We chose honesty. We recognized that the root cause of our errors was the system itself. We needed an interpretive method that did not require us to twist history or manipulate the text to fit modern headlines.

The Turning Point: Honoring the Divine Time Clues

The main reason WLC changed its view on prophecy was that we wanted to be thoroughly honest about the time clues in the Bible. For centuries, popular interpreters have systematically ignored, spiritualized, or explained away the clear, unyielding time limits set by Yahushua and the New Testament writers.

The main reason WLC changed its view on prophecy was that we wanted to be thoroughly honest about the time clues in the Bible. For centuries, popular interpreters have systematically ignored, spiritualized, or explained away the clear, unyielding time limits set by Yahushua and the New Testament writers.

As we re-studied the Olivet Discourse in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21, we were confronted by words that could not be bargained with. Yahushua stated with absolute clarity:

“Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.” (Matthew 24:34)

Standard futurist systems try to bypass this by claiming “generation” means a race of people, or the generation alive at the distant end of time. But a simple, objective study of the Greek word genea reveals that it always refers to the contemporaneous generation alive at the time of speaking. Yahushua was speaking to His disciples about their era.

Furthermore, the New Testament authors consistently wrote with an intense sense of imminence. John writes in Revelation 1:1 that these are things which must “shortly take place,” and underscores in Revelation 1:3 that “the time is near.” In the final chapter, the warning is repeated: “Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand” (Revelation 22:10). This stands in direct contrast to the book of Daniel, who was told to seal his prophecy because the fulfillment was many days off (Daniel 8:26).

If John’s prophecy was “near” and “at hand” nineteen hundred years ago, how can a ministry claim to honor the authority of Scripture while teaching that those events are still in our future? To say “near” means two millennia later is not faith; it is textual manipulation. We realized that if we were to remain a ministry committed to absolute biblical truth, we had to accept that these time markers meant exactly what they said. The events predicted in Revelation 1 through 19 had to happen swiftly within the generation that received the letter.

Unlocking the Apocalypse: The Transition to Partial Preterism

By mid-2020, our decade-long journey of intense study culminated in a definitive theological pivot. We officially abandoned the futurist prompting of the Seven Trumpets and the modern geopolitical interpretations of the Beast and the Harlot. In their place, the Holy Spirit unlocked the beautiful, coherent reality of Partial Preterism.

For WLC, adopting partial preterism fundamentally unlocked the Book of Revelation. It transformed the text from an anxiety-inducing riddle into a powerful, historic message of absolute triumph for the early, suffering church. We began to see that the vast majority of the prophecies in Matthew 24 and Revelation chapters 1 through 19 were accurately, literally, and terribly fulfilled in the catastrophic events surrounding the Jewish-Roman War and the subsequent destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple in AD 70.

When viewed through this lens, the structural difficulties that had plagued our mid-2010s models melted away:

  • The Seven Trumpets: Rather than modern ecological disasters or nuclear warfare, the trumpets represented the sequential, historical warning judgments sent upon apostate Israel as Rome marched toward Jerusalem, culminating in the complete dismantling of the Old Covenant system.
  • The Cosmic Language: We recognized that the darkening of the sun, the falling of stars, and Christ “coming on the clouds” was standard Old Testament prophetic imagery. When Isaiah prophesied the downfall of Babylon or Egypt, he used identical cosmic language to describe the political overthrow of a nation under Yah’s judgment. Christ used the same language to describe the visible, historical downfall of Jerusalem.
  • The Beast and the Harlot: Instead of trying to force modern political states or future world dictators into the text, we recognized the historic reality. The Beast of Revelation 13 and 17 was pagan Rome, specifically embodied in the tyrannical persecution of Nero Caesar (whose name in Hebrew gematria calculates perfectly to 666). The Harlot was not a modern religious system, but apostate Jerusalem itself—the city that rode the back of Roman political power to crucify the Messiah and persecute the saints, only to be turned upon and devoured by that very same Roman Beast in AD 70.

This transition vindicated Yahushua’s words. When Jerusalem fell, the Old Covenant temple system was physically and visibly brought to a permanent close. Christ’s words were proven true to the letter within the exact generation He specified. He was demonstrated to be the true High Priest, and His spiritual temple—the body of true believers—became the exclusive dwelling place of the Holy Spirit.

The Perfect Symphony: Harmonizing Partial Preterism with Amillennialism

A vital component of our post-2020 study journey was ensuring total theological continuity. For many eschatological systems, combining preterism with other views creates intense friction. However, as we laid down our old presuppositions, we made an extraordinary discovery: Partial Preterism and Amillennialism are a perfect theological fit. They are two sides of the same coin.

People who believe the millennium of Revelation 20 is entirely in the future face a massive structural problem. They struggle to explain how the timeline flows smoothly from the destruction of the beast at the end of Revelation 19 into the thousand years of Revelation 20. Trying to force these chapters into a strict, sequential, literal chronological order creates massive contradictions.

Combining partial preterism with amillennialism solves this problem easily. Revelation is not a single chronological timeline from chapters 1 to 22; it is a series of recapitulating visions that look at the same epoch from different spiritual vantage points.

While partial preterism recognizes that chapters 1 through 19 address the judgment and destruction of the corporate enemies of Christ’s early church (Apostate Jerusalem and Pagan Rome), Revelation 20 steps back to present the grand spiritual reality of the entire Christian era. Amillennialism does not mean there is “no millennium”; rather, it teaches that the “thousand years” is a symbolic expression representing the current, completed spiritual epoch—the Gospel Age.

During this age, Christ has been reigning from His heavenly throne, and the power of Satan was decisively bound at the cross regarding his ability to blindly deceive the nations from hearing the Gospel. This beautiful harmonization allowed our ministry to view history and scripture through a unified vision.

The Present Reality: The “Little Time of Deception”

This vital theological transition did not distance WLC from the urgency of the times; rather, it sharpened our understanding of the exact hour in which we now stand.

This vital theological transition did not distance WLC from the urgency of the times; rather, it sharpened our understanding of the exact hour in which we now stand. By harmonizing partial preterism and amillennialism, WLC arrived at a sobering conclusion: the spiritual millennium of Revelation 20 has ended, and the world has entered the “little time of deception” described in Revelation 20:3 and 7-8.

Scripture dictates that at the conclusion of the thousand years, Satan must be released from his prison for a short season to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth. We look around the world today and see the undeniable ramifications of this reality. The unprecedented, worldwide adoption of massive deceptive trends is not an accident; it is the direct result of this satanic release.

This understanding perfectly explains the rise of absolute worldwide secularism, the aggressive worldwide assault waged by geopolitical Zionism, and the proliferation of deep scientific and technological delusions. We see this deception manifesting in the widespread acceptance of a heliocentric globe model over absolute biblical geocentric cosmology, the push toward transhumanism, and the rise of sophisticated Artificial Intelligence deceptions designed to mimic spiritual discernment.

Because we understand that we are living in this brief, final time of deception, WLC knows that we are nearer to the final, physical end than we have ever been. This realization carries significant practical implications for the true remnant. It means we must stand completely apart from institutionalized religion, which has largely been compromised by these global deceptions. We are called to step out of the systems of man, maintain our confidence in the promises of Yahushua, and await His literal, bodily return in glory to execute final judgment and usher in the eternal state.

Conclusion: Ever Onward in the Light

The transition from the sensationalized, futurist-leaning proclamations of the mid-2010s to the grounded, historical reality of partial preterism in the mid-2020s has been a long and humbling journey for World’s Last Chance. We have faced the criticisms of those who wished we stayed the same, and we have borne the public embarrassment of admitting where our past interpretations fell short.

Yet, we regret nothing of this refining process. Our commitment is not to our past publications, but to the living truth of Father Yahuwah’s Word. Partial preterism has rescued the book of Revelation from the hands of modern sensationalists and restored it to its rightful place as a monument of Christ’s absolute victory over His enemies in the first century. It has provided the theological foundation necessary to clearly identify the deceptive spiritual atmosphere of the late-2020s world.

We remain dependent on the Holy Spirit, walking in the light as it is revealed, and urging every seeking soul to lay down human traditions, study the scriptures with an honest heart, and stand firm against the sweeping deceptions of this final hour.

Unlocking Truth: How WLC Transitioned to Partial Preterism

[Verse 1]
We started with a burning cry,
To wake a sleeping world,
We searched the signs beneath the sky,
The prophecy unfurled.
But truth called us deeper still,
Beyond the fear and schemes,
To test each teaching by the Word,
And follow where it leads.

[Pre-Chorus]
We will not cling to yesterday,
Nor hide where we were wrong,
The Spirit leads us on the way,
His truth makes us strong.

[Chorus]
Unlock the truth, let darkness flee,
Let Scripture speak and conscience see.
No human system, no cherished view,
Can stand above what Yah’s Word proves true.
Father Yahuwah, guide our way,
Master Yahushua, be our stay.
WLC turned from yesterday,
And followed where Scripture led.

[Verse 2]
We watched the years of fear unfold,
The trumpets yet to sound,
The Beast and Harlot, kings foretold,
In headlines all around.
But every system brought its strain,
Each theory forced the text,
And honest hearts began to ask,
“What interpretation’s next?”

[Verse 3]
Then came the words we could not bend:
“This generation shall not pass.”
The time was near, the end at hand,
The warning stood steadfast.
Revelation was not sealed away
For ages yet to come;
John wrote of things soon to take place—
The hour had nearly come.

[Chorus]
Unlock the truth, let darkness flee,
Let Scripture speak and conscience see.
No human system, no cherished view,
Can stand above what Yah’s Word proves true.
Father Yahuwah, guide our way,
Master Yahushua, be our stay.
WLC turned from yesterday,
And followed where Scripture led.

[Bridge]
Jerusalem fell, the Temple ceased,
The old covenant passed away.
The Beast of Rome arose in wrath,
Yet Christ had won the day.
The cosmic signs spoke judgment’s tongue,
As prophets spoke before.
The Apocalypse became a song
Of Christ forevermore.

[Verse 4]
The Trumpets were no future storm,
No nuclear warning cry;
They bore the judgments Rome unleashed
As ancient systems died.
The Harlot rode the Roman Beast,
Then Rome consumed her throne;
The first-century fulfillment stood
In history made known.

[Verse 5]
Revelation twenty showed
A different vantage point:
The thousand years, the Gospel age,
Where Christ’s reign was joined.
The visions circle back again,
Not marching straight in line;
Partial Preterism joined with grace
And Amillennial light.

[Bridge 2]
But now the little time has come,
A season brief and dark;
Deception spreads across the earth,
Yet truth still bears its mark.
We will not bow to systems built
By wisdom born of man.
We trust the promise of the King
And follow Yah’s command.

[Final Chorus]
Unlock the truth, let darkness flee,
Let Scripture speak and conscience see.
No human system, no cherished view,
Can stand above what Yah’s Word proves true.
Father Yahuwah, lead us on,
Till every shadow fades at dawn.
Master Yahushua, King and Lord,
WLC stands upon Your Word.

[Outro]
We were not perfect; we were learning,
Humbled by the light.
Truth is worth the cost of change,
Righteousness worth the fight.
Ever onward, ever seeking,
With the Spirit as our guide—
Till Yahushua comes in glory,
And truth and triumph stand worldwide.

Dearly Beloved Brother Galal Doss & All at WLC,

I wish to kindly send our regards to you all and pray that the quest for truth will ever continue…

You may or may not remember me (and my wife Mercy), from the U.K. It’s been a while since our last communication.

I just wanted to kindly share with you that since our last communication, we have come to read the Book of Remembrance Series (See Malachi 3:16); which has brought a lot of peace and joy to our hearts and we wanted to commend the same to you and your ministry for your consideration.

The missing piece in the entire discourse of the Scriptures, is the perspective of the Melchizedek Priesthood, also known as the Order of the Ancients (Ses Jeremiah 6:16).

We’ve been trying to resolve our understanding all along from the perspective of the Levitical Priesthood and its carnal law, despite what is written concerning the same in Hebrews Chapter 7. It wasn’t until we came to read the Book of Remembrance Series which is presented from the perspective of the Order of Melchizedek that many of the unresolved Scriptural Conundrums we’ve encountered obtained unto clarity and now we are full of gratitude for the wisdom of the Most High.

You will notice that the MashaYah (Mashiach/Messiah) was ALWAYS and most certainly speaking from the perspective of the Melchizedek Priesthood… thats the key. He was an Essene from the Righteousness Community commonly known as the Natsariym (followers of The Way of Jeshurun).

I appreciate that you have now adopted this view cited in this article however, as it is also derived from the perspective of the Levitical Priesthood, the certainty that it is in error is certain.

My heart goes out to you for all the well-meaning efforts you have put forward to we the years, and I know in my heart that it all hasn’t been in vain. Continue being led by the urgings of the Ruach Ha’Qodesh. Onwards and upwards.

*Recommended reading order for the Book of Remembrance:

1) Book of Remembrance – 1st & 2nd Books of Achee

2) Book of Remembrance of Enoch

3) Book of Remembrance of our Ancient Grandmothers

4) Book of Remembrance of Melchizedek

5) Book of Remembrance of Moses

*Please carefully follow this order*

Dear Brother Prince and Sister Mercy,

Thank you so much for reaching out after all these years and for your kind words and warm regards. Of course we remember you, and it is a real joy to hear from you again. We are grateful to Father Yahuwah for the peace and joy you have found in your continued quest for truth.

Thank you also for sharing the Book of Remembrance Series and for explaining how the perspective of the Melchizedek Priesthood has helped bring clarity to questions that remained unresolved for you. We will certainly give your recommendations thoughtful consideration and examine them carefully against the Scriptures, as we believe every teaching must ultimately be tested by the Word of Father Yahuwah.

We deeply appreciate your encouragement to continue being led by the Ruach Ha’Qodesh. Our own journey has taught us that we must remain humble and willing to examine everything we have believed, always asking Father Yahuwah to lead us into greater light. We are thankful that, despite the years and the different paths our studies may have taken, we can still correspond as fellow seekers of truth.

May Father Yahuwah richly bless you and Sister Mercy and continue to guide you both in your pursuit of truth. Please do stay in touch. It would be wonderful to hear from you again.

In the lovingkindness [Chesed] of Father Yahuwah,
galal.

I can rejoice in the nature of a theocracy revealed in the path WLC are walking. How comments, questions, rebukes are being turned around to make truths known by the will of Yahuwah and Yahushua. Even the impressions of the Holy Spirit. Denomi(nations) has their hierarchies, worldly creeds, educational systems, earthly given names etc., like SDA Remnant/Reform, but Yahuwah has a people that only He as their only God has given a name! [Sometimes I wonder what my new name shall be :):)] The experience of standing alone gives the freedom to push forward as Yahushua leads. Even asking what Bible teach these things, one can only pray, after using Scripture evidence, seeing a light opening in their eyes, that many souls accept the truths in this remnant of time.

Amen, Brother Bazil! 🙏❤️ What a beautiful testimony. We too rejoice that Yahuwah can use even questions, criticisms, and rebukes to bring greater light to His people. When we are willing to stand on Scripture alone and allow Yahushua to lead, nothing is wasted—even opposition can become an instrument for truth to shine more brightly.

And yes, there is something wonderfully liberating about standing apart from denominational hierarchies, creeds, and human authority, seeking only the name and approval that come from Yahuwah. As for that new name—HalleluYah!—what a glorious day it will be when Yahuwah Himself reveals it! Until then, may we continue faithfully walking in the light He gives, praying that every honest heart whose eyes are opened will embrace the truth. ❤️🙏

One other question Ive had that most have a difficult time of answering how long is this little season? A year? A few months? Hundreds of years?

Galal Doss WLC Team September 14, 2026 at 6:13 am

Beloved Ryan,

That is precisely where we must be humble. Revelation tells us that Satan is released for a “little season,” but it gives us no unit of measurement and no indication of whether that period should be understood as months, years, decades, or even longer. Scripture also gives us no starting date from which its duration could be calculated.

We therefore believe it is possible that we are already living in this “little season,” and there are significant indications pointing in that direction, but we cannot say with certainty when it began or how long it will continue. The adjective “little” tells us that Yahuwah has placed a limit upon it; it does not give us a timetable.

For WLC, the appropriate response is therefore watchfulness without date-setting. We can recognize prophetic indications while leaving the precise chronology in Yahuwah’s hands. ❤️🙏

I don’t know about the little season. Some say how can it be that we are in the little season where is Yahushua? Then in Revelation 16:20 Every island and mountains disappeared. When did that happen? Maybe I do not know the timeline? I don’t recall not seeing mountains or islands covered?

Beloved Ryan,

Thank you for raising this important question. Regarding the “little season” of Revelation 20:3, we believe there are strong indications that we may currently be living in this period, although WLC is not dogmatic about that conclusion. The extraordinary worldwide deceptions concerning the shape of the Earth, the widespread adoption of the Trinity doctrine, and increasingly sophisticated AI-related alternative concepts concerning eternal life and human existence are among the developments that cause us to take seriously the possibility that Satan has been released to deceive the nations on an unprecedented scale.

At the same time, Scripture does not tell us when the “little season” begins, how long it lasts, or provide us with a date by which we can identify its beginning. Therefore, even if we are indeed living in this period, we cannot responsibly assign it a starting date or calculate its duration. We should distinguish between recognizing indications and claiming prophetic certainty.

As for Revelation 16:20—“And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found”—we should remember that Revelation is filled with symbolic and prophetic imagery drawn from the Old Testament. We therefore should not assume that this statement requires every physical mountain and island on Earth to have literally disappeared. Such imagery can describe the removal or overthrow of established powers and structures under Yahuwah’s judgment. The fact that we still see mountains and islands today does not, by itself, disprove a symbolic fulfillment.

Our transition toward partial preterism has also made us more cautious about forcing current events into prophecy. We believe the destruction of Jerusalem fulfilled a substantial portion of Yahushua’s Olivet prophecy, while other prophecies remain future or may be unfolding in ways we cannot yet identify with certainty.

So we would summarize our present position this way: there are compelling indications that the “little season” may be upon us, but we do not claim certainty, we cannot identify its starting point, and we cannot calculate its duration because Scripture does not provide that information. We would rather acknowledge what the evidence suggests while remaining humble about what Yahuwah has not revealed.

And that humility is especially important when dealing with prophecy. We should be watchful, but we should never turn possibilities into dogmas. ❤️🙏

One I’m struggling wrapping my head around is the idea that Christ has already had his 1k year reign. Where is He at then? Where did He go?

Galal Doss WLC Team September 18, 2026 at 1:12 pm

Beloved Ryan,

That is an understandable question. The key is that in the partial-preterist understanding, the “1,000 years” in Revelation 20 is not necessarily 1,000 literal calendar years during which Yahushua physically lived and reigned on earth.

Yahushua did not “go away” after the thousand years. Scripture presents Him as having ascended to heaven after His resurrection and being exalted at the right hand of the Father (Acts 2:32–36; Hebrews 10:12–13). His reign is therefore a heavenly reign, not a temporary earthly kingdom that ended after exactly 1,000 years.

Revelation itself uses highly symbolic language throughout the passage. The “thousand years” can be understood as a symbolic representation of a complete, divinely appointed period during which Yahushua reigns, Satan’s influence is restrained in the particular sense described in Revelation 20, and the Gospel goes forth to the nations.

This also helps explain why Revelation 20 does not say that Yahushua stops being King when the thousand years are completed. Scripture elsewhere speaks of His kingdom in enduring terms. Daniel 7:14 says that His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and Luke 1:33 says, “of his kingdom there shall be no end.”

So the question is not, “Where did Yahushua go after His 1,000-year reign?” Rather, the partial-preterist question is:

What does Revelation mean by the symbolic ‘thousand years,’ and what phase of Yahushua’s continuing reign does that period represent?

Yahushua is not absent. He is exalted at the Father’s right hand, reigning as Messiah and King. The completion of the symbolic thousand-year period does not terminate His kingship; it brings the prophetic narrative toward the final judgment and the consummation of His kingdom.
In other words: the 1,000 years end; Yahushua’s reign does not.

My prayer:

Dear Father Yahuwah who is in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Continue to give us our daily spiritual bread. And please forgive our trasspasses and sins, and give us the humility to forgive the trasspasses and sins of others who trasspass and sin against us. Lead us not into temptation.
