The Restoration Confession

Motto

“Contending earnestly for the faith once delivered unto the saints, while preparing hearts and minds for the sudden return of Master Yahushua.”

PREAMBLE

We, the servants of Father Yahuwah and witnesses of His everlasting truth, publish this Restoration Confession in humble submission to the authority of the Holy Scriptures and in joyful anticipation of the glorious sudden appearing of Master Yahushua the Messiah.

We are persuaded that every generation bears a solemn responsibility to search the Scriptures with honesty, to receive truth wherever the Spirit of Father Yahuwah reveals it, and to forsake every tradition that cannot be sustained by the written Word. Throughout history, human philosophy, religious institutions, political powers, and inherited customs have often obscured the simplicity of divine revelation. Yet Father Yahuwah has never left Himself without witnesses. In every age He has called men and women to return to His commandments, trust His promises, and proclaim His Kingdom.

We believe that ours is such an age.

As confusion increases throughout the world and false teachings multiply, Father Yahuwah continues to restore neglected biblical truth to those willing to examine all things in the light of Scripture. We therefore confess that our supreme loyalty belongs neither to denominational systems nor to theological traditions, but to Father Yahuwah alone, speaking through His inspired Word.

This confession is not offered as a new creed to replace the Bible. Rather, it is our public testimony of what we understand the Scriptures to teach and our solemn declaration of those truths we are committed to proclaiming until the appearing of Master Yahushua.

With gratitude for the mercy extended to us through the Gospel of the Kingdom, and with unwavering confidence in the promises of Father Yahuwah, we therefore set forth this Restoration Confession.

THE RESTORATION CONFESSION

Part I

THE FOUNDATION OF TRUTH

“For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Master Yahushua the Messiah.”

ARTICLE I

The Holy Scriptures

We Affirm

We affirm that the Holy Scriptures, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, are the inspired revelation of Father Yahuwah, breathed by His Spirit and entrusted to humanity as the complete and infallible disclosure of His will. The Scriptures alone constitute the final authority in all matters concerning faith, doctrine, worship, morality, prophecy, and eternal hope.

Because Father Yahuwah is perfect in wisdom and incapable of falsehood, His written Word is trustworthy in all that it teaches. It is sufficient to instruct, correct, rebuke, and train His people in righteousness. No subsequent revelation, ecclesiastical decree, philosophical speculation, scientific consensus, mystical experience, or human tradition possesses authority equal to the written Scriptures.

We Confess

We believe that the Bible explains itself. When a passage is difficult to understand, we should interpret it in the light of passages that are clear. We should never let symbolic passages contradict the Bible’s plain teachings. The harmony of the whole counsel of Father Yahuwah governs our interpretation of every individual passage.

The diligent study of Scripture is therefore not merely an intellectual pursuit but an act of worship. Through the written Word, the Holy Spirit teaches, convicts, comforts, and sanctifies those who humbly seek truth.

We Reject

  • We reject every authority that claims the right to supersede or nullify Scripture.
  • We reject traditions that cannot be established from the written Word.
  • We reject interpretations that compel the Scriptures to conform to prevailing philosophies rather than allowing Scripture to speak for itself.

We Therefore

We pledge to examine every doctrine continually in the light of Scripture, welcoming correction whenever the Word of Father Yahuwah reveals a more excellent understanding.

ARTICLE II

Father Yahuwah, the One True Elohim

We Affirm

We affirm that there is one Elohim alone.

Father Yahuwah is the eternal Creator of heaven and earth, the source of all life, the Author of righteousness, and the Sovereign Ruler over all creation. He alone possesses underived existence. He is omnipotent, omniscient, holy, righteous, merciful, immutable, and perfect in every attribute. His presence fills creation through His Holy Spirit, and His purposes cannot fail.

We acknowledge Father Yahuwah as the great “I AM,” whose covenant Name deserves reverence, honor, and proclamation among every nation.

His government rests upon justice, mercy, holiness, and truth. Every command He has given proceeds from His perfect character and is therefore righteous.

We Confess

We confess that worship belongs exclusively to Father Yahuwah.

Every act of prayer, praise, thanksgiving, obedience, and devotion ultimately ascends to the Father, from whom are all things.

To know Father Yahuwah is eternal life.

We Reject

  • We reject every doctrine that divides the absolute unity of Father Yahuwah or attributes supreme deity to another being alongside Him.
  • We reject every conception of God that obscures His personal character or diminishes His unique sovereignty.

We Therefore

We dedicate our lives to honoring His holy Name through faithful obedience, reverent worship, humble service, and joyful proclamation of His Kingdom.

ARTICLE III

The Holy Spirit

We Affirm

We affirm that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Father Yahuwah, proceeding from the Father and given through His Son to accomplish the Father’s will in heaven and on earth. The Holy Spirit is the personal presence, power, life, mind, and active influence of Father Yahuwah by which He creates, sustains, convicts, teaches, sanctifies, comforts, and empowers His people.

We affirm that through His Holy Spirit, Yahuwah dwells with His people. Through the Holy Spirit, Yahushua also abides with believers, fulfilling His promise never to leave nor forsake those who belong to Him. The Holy Spirit unites believers with the Father and with His Son, producing holiness, spiritual fruit, and faithful obedience.

We Confess

We confess that the Holy Spirit inspired the Scriptures, empowered the prophets, overshadowed Mary in the conception of Master Yahushua, descended upon the Messiah at His baptism, strengthened Him throughout His earthly ministry, raised Him from the dead by the power of the Father, and now works within every believer who yields to Yahuwah.

We confess that no one can truly understand the Scriptures, repent of sin, confess Master Yahushua as Messiah, or live a holy life apart from the gracious work of the Holy Spirit.

We Reject

  • We reject the teaching that the Holy Spirit is a separate co-equal deity alongside the Father and His Son.
  • We reject every doctrine that obscures the perfect unity between Yahuwah and His Spirit or separates the Spirit from the One whose Spirit He is.
  • We reject every claim of spiritual experience that contradicts the written Word of Father Yahuwah, for the Holy Spirit always testifies in harmony with the Scriptures He inspired.

We Therefore

We therefore seek to walk daily in the Spirit of Yahuwah, praying that He will renew our minds, strengthen our faith, produce His holy character within us, and equip us to proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom until Yahushua appears in glory.

ARTICLE IV

Master Yahushua the Messiah

We Affirm

We affirm that Master Yahushua is the only begotten Son of Father Yahuwah, miraculously conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, exactly as foretold by the prophets. He is the promised Messiah, the Son of David, the Son of Abraham, and the Second Adam, sent by the Father to succeed where the first Adam failed.

We confess that Master Yahushua was fully and completely human. He was not an angel clothed in flesh, nor a divine being who became a man. He did not live as a conscious person before his miraculous conception. His life as a human son began when Father Yahuwah, according to His eternal purpose and promise, brought him into existence through the womb of the virgin Mary. Before that time, he existed only in the foreknowledge, purpose, and redemptive plan of the Father. This understanding is consistent with the confession that he is non-pre-existent.

Like Adam before the fall, Master Yahushua entered the world without personal sin. Yet unlike the first Adam, he remained perfectly obedient throughout his entire life. Though tempted in every way as we are, he never yielded to sin. By his faithful obedience, culminating in his voluntary death upon the cross, he became the perfect atoning sacrifice for humanity and the representative Head of a new redeemed race.

Father Yahuwah raised him from the dead, exalted him above every earthly authority, and seated him at His own right hand. There he now serves as our only High Priest, Advocate, and Mediator until the day of his glorious appearing.

We therefore confess that there is one Mediator between Father Yahuwah and mankind: the man, Christ Master Yahushua.

We Confess

We confess that Master Yahushua is the Head of the ekklesia, the firstborn from among the dead, the Lamb of Father Yahuwah who takes away the sin of the world, and the appointed King who shall inherit all nations.

Through Him alone forgiveness, reconciliation, resurrection, and everlasting life are granted.

We Reject

  • We reject every doctrine that obscures the genuine humanity of Master Yahushua.
  • We likewise reject every teaching that diminishes His unique role as the Father’s appointed Messiah, only Mediator, High Priest, and coming King.

We Therefore

We submit ourselves wholly to His lordship, seeking to imitate His humility, obedience, holiness, compassion, and unwavering devotion to the will of the Father.

ARTICLE V

The Gospel of the Kingdom

We Affirm

We affirm that the Gospel proclaimed by Master Yahushua and His apostles is the Gospel of the Kingdom of Father Yahuwah.

Through repentance toward Father Yahuwah and faith in Master Yahushua the Messiah, sinners are forgiven, reconciled to the Father, and granted the sure hope of everlasting life within Father Yahuwah’s coming Kingdom upon the renewed earth.

The Kingdom is neither a merely inward experience nor an abstract spiritual ideal. It is the promised reign of Father Yahuwah, established through His Messiah, in which righteousness, peace, justice, and life shall flourish forever upon the New Earth.

The resurrection—not escape from creation—is the believer’s blessed hope.

We Confess

We confess that the proclamation of this Kingdom constitutes the central mission of the ekklesia.

Every disciple is called to invite all nations to repentance, faith, obedience, and confident expectation of the age to come.

We Reject

  • We reject every gospel that substitutes earthly prosperity, political ambition, institutional power, or speculative prophecy for the everlasting Kingdom proclaimed by Master Yahushua.
  • We reject every teaching that relocates the believer’s ultimate inheritance away from the renewed earth promised throughout the Scriptures.

We Therefore

We devote ourselves to proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom with humility, courage, and compassion until every people has heard the invitation to enter the everlasting reign of Father Yahuwah through His Messiah.

THE RESTORATION CONFESSION

Part II

THE WAY OF SALVATION

“By grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of Father Yahuwah.”

ARTICLE VI

Humanity’s Need of Salvation

We Affirm

We affirm that Father Yahuwah created mankind in His own image to enjoy unbroken fellowship with Him, to reflect His righteous character, and to exercise faithful stewardship over the earth. Humanity was created very good, possessing both the privilege and responsibility of choosing obedience to the Creator.

We affirm that through Adam’s disobedience, sin entered the world, and death spread to all mankind. Separated from Father Yahuwah by sin, humanity became subject to mortality and incapable of restoring itself to righteousness by its own efforts. Every descendant of Adam stands in need of divine mercy and redemption.

We Confess

We confess that sin is more than outward wrongdoing. It is every thought, word, motive, and deed that departs from the perfect will and holy character of Father Yahuwah.

The consequence of sin is death. Apart from Father Yahuwah’s saving grace, no person can attain everlasting life.

Yet Father Yahuwah, rich in mercy, purposed from the beginning to redeem humanity through His beloved Son, so that all who repent and believe may receive forgiveness and the promise of the coming Kingdom.

We Reject

  • We reject every teaching that minimizes the seriousness of sin.
  • We reject every belief that mankind can earn acceptance before Father Yahuwah through personal merit, religious ceremonies, or human achievement.
  • We reject the idea that humanity possesses inherent immortality or an innate right to eternal life.

We Therefore

We therefore humble ourselves before Father Yahuwah, confess our sins, seek His forgiveness, and place our complete confidence in His mercy revealed through Master Yahushua the Messiah.

ARTICLE VII

The Finished Work of Christ

We Affirm

We affirm that Yahushua the Messiah, the Son of Yahuwah, completely and perfectly accomplished the work appointed to Him by the Father through His obedient life, sacrificial death, resurrection, and exaltation to the right hand of the Father (John 4:34; 6:38; Phil. 2:8; Isa. 53:5–6; 1 Cor. 15:3; Heb. 10:10–14; Acts 2:24; 1 Cor. 15:20–23; Acts 2:32–36; Eph. 1:20; Heb. 1:3–4).

We affirm that through His death on the cross, Yahushua offered Himself once for all for the sins of humanity, accomplishing the atonement and providing the basis for forgiveness, redemption, justification, and reconciliation with Father Yahuwah (Matt. 1:21; 1 Pet. 2:24; Eph. 1:7; Rom. 5:18–19; Col. 1:20–22; Heb. 9:26–28).

We affirm that through His faithful obedience unto death, Yahushua established the New Covenant promised by Yahuwah, fulfilling the covenant promises declared through the prophets (Jer. 31:31–34; Luke 22:20; Heb. 8:6–13).

We affirm that Yahushua’s declaration upon the cross, “It is finished,” testified that the work He had been sent by the Father to accomplish was complete (John 19:30). His atoning sacrifice therefore requires no addition, supplementation, or later completion.

We Confess

We confess that the atoning work of Yahushua was fully completed at the cross. Having offered Himself once for all for sins, He accomplished a perfect and sufficient sacrifice for humanity (Heb. 10:10–14).

We confess that having been raised from the dead, Yahushua was exalted by Yahuwah and appointed Lord and Messiah, receiving all authority in heaven and on earth (Acts 2:32–36; Matt. 28:18).

We confess that upon His ascension, Yahushua immediately sat down at the right hand of Father Yahuwah, signifying the completion, perfection, and sufficiency of His sacrificial work (Mark 16:19; Heb. 1:3; 10:12–14).

We confess that Yahushua now reigns as Yahuwah’s appointed King and serves as the mediator between Yahuwah and humanity (Acts 17:30–31; 1 Tim. 2:5).

We confess that from the right hand of the Father, Yahushua intercedes for those who come to Yahuwah through Him (Rom. 8:34; Heb. 7:25). His heavenly intercession is based upon the atonement already completed on the cross and is not a continuation or completion of an unfinished atoning sacrifice.

We confess that salvation rests entirely upon the finished work of Yahushua Christ, received through faith and not through human works (Eph. 2:8–9; Titus 3:5).

We Reject

We reject the teaching that Yahushua’s atonement remained incomplete after the cross and was subsequently resumed or completed in heaven.

We reject the teaching that in 1844 Yahushua entered a heavenly “Most Holy Place” in order to begin or complete an atoning work that had not been finished at Calvary.

We reject every doctrine that diminishes the finality, sufficiency, or completeness of Yahushua’s sacrifice by making His resurrection, ascension, heavenly ministry, or intercession additions to an otherwise unfinished atonement.

We reject the notion that any further sacrificial act is required to accomplish what Yahushua declared to be finished when He said, “It is finished” (John 19:30).

We Therefore

We therefore believe that the atonement was finished at the cross.

We therefore believe that the sacrifice of Yahushua was once for all, sufficient for the forgiveness and redemption of those who believe (Heb. 10:12–14).

We therefore believe that Yahushua’s resurrection, ascension, exaltation, and heavenly intercession do not add anything to His completed sacrifice, but follow from and rest upon the finished work accomplished at the cross (Acts 2:32–36; Heb. 1:3; 10:12).

We therefore believe that Yahushua’s sitting at the right hand of Yahuwah demonstrates that His sacrificial work was complete and perfect (Heb. 10:12–14).

We therefore believe that salvation is grounded entirely in the finished work of Yahushua Christ and is received through faith rather than human works (Eph. 2:8–9; Titus 3:5).

“It is finished.” (John 19:30)

The atonement was finished at the cross.

The sacrifice was once for all.

Yahushua ascended, immediately sat at the Father’s right hand, and now intercedes for us on the basis of that completed atonement.

Nothing remains to be added. Nothing remains to be completed. It is finished.

ARTICLE VIII

Justification

We Affirm

We affirm that justification is the gracious act of Yahuwah whereby He forgives the sins of the repentant believer and declares that believer righteous because of the faithful obedience, sacrificial death, and resurrection of Yahushua the Messiah. This gift is received through faith alone and not through the works of the law.

By faith we enter into a state of justification, and by that same faith we continue to stand in that grace. Having been justified, we have peace with Father Yahuwah through our Master Yahushua the Messiah, through whom we have obtained access into this grace in which we stand (Romans 5:1–2). Justification is therefore not merely a momentary declaration but the believer’s continuing standing before the Father through faith in His Son.

Justification is the foundation of our salvation. It establishes our right standing before Father Yahuwah entirely apart from our own merit or performance. This standing rests solely upon the righteousness of Master Yahushua graciously credited to all who believe.

We Confess

We confess that faith is living trust in Father Yahuwah and His promises. Genuine faith produces repentance, obedience, humility, and perseverance.

While justification and sanctification are inseparably joined in the life of every believer, they must never be confused. Justification is Father Yahuwah’s gracious declaration that the believer is righteous because of the Messiah. Sanctification is Father Yahuwah’s ongoing work of transforming the justified believer into the likeness of His Son. Our acceptance before Yahuwah rests upon justification alone, while sanctification is the necessary fruit of that saving relationship.

Good works do not earn salvation, nor do they preserve our justified standing before Father Yahuwah. Rather, they are the natural evidence that genuine faith is alive and active.

We Reject

  • We reject every system that makes human works the basis of justification.
  • We reject every teaching that confuses justification with sanctification or makes our acceptance before Father Yahuwah depend upon the measure of our spiritual progress.
  • We reject every teaching that separates saving faith from a transformed life.
  • We reject the presumption that forgiveness permits continued rebellion against the commandments of Father Yahuwah.

We Therefore

We therefore rest confidently in the grace of Father Yahuwah, standing continually in the justified state into which faith has brought us, while yielding ourselves daily to the sanctifying work of His Holy Spirit.

ARTICLE IX

Sanctification

We Affirm

We affirm that sanctification is the lifelong work of Father Yahuwah through His Holy Spirit, by which believers are transformed into the likeness of Master Yahushua.

Having been justified by faith, believers are called to grow continually in holiness, love, wisdom, humility, and faithful obedience.

Sanctification is neither instantaneous perfection nor human self-improvement. It is the gracious work of Father Yahuwah within those who willingly submit to His Word.

We Confess

We confess that the Holy Spirit strengthens believers to overcome sin, renews the mind through Scripture, produces spiritual fruit, and equips every disciple for faithful service.

Growth in holiness continues throughout the believer’s earthly life until it reaches completion in the resurrection.

We Reject

  • We reject the belief that holiness can be attained through human effort apart from the grace and power of Father Yahuwah.
  • We reject every teaching that excuses persistent, willful sin under the pretense of grace.

We Therefore

We therefore seek daily to walk as Master Yahushua walked, depending upon the Holy Spirit to shape our character according to the will of the Father.

ARTICLE X

Glorification

We Affirm

We affirm that the final hope of every believer is glorification at the return of Master Yahushua.

On that day the righteous dead shall be raised immortal, and the living faithful shall be changed. Mortality shall put on immortality, corruption shall put on incorruption, and the redeemed shall inherit the everlasting Kingdom prepared by Father Yahuwah.

The resurrection—not death—is the believer’s entrance into everlasting life.

We Confess

We confess that glorification completes the work of salvation begun in justification and continued in sanctification.

As the first Adam introduced death, so the Second Adam brings resurrection and life. Those who belong to Master Yahushua shall bear the image of the heavenly man fully and dwell forever in righteousness.

We Reject

  • We reject every doctrine that teaches believers receive immortal bodies at death.
  • We reject every teaching that diminishes the central importance of the bodily resurrection.

We Therefore

We therefore fix our hope upon the appearing of Master Yahushua, enduring present trials with joyful confidence in the resurrection to come.

ARTICLE XI

The New Covenant

We Affirm

We affirm that Master Yahushua established the New Covenant through his sacrificial death and resurrection, fulfilling the promises spoken through the prophets.

Under this covenant, Father Yahuwah forgives sin, writes His law upon the hearts of His people, grants the indwelling Holy Spirit, and gathers believers into one family of faith.

The New Covenant does not abolish Father Yahuwah’s righteous standards. Rather, it provides both forgiveness for past sins and power for present obedience.

We Confess

We confess that every believer enjoys direct access to the Father through Master Yahushua, our only High Priest and Mediator.

The people of the New Covenant are called to offer spiritual sacrifices of praise, thanksgiving, mercy, and faithful service.

We Reject

  • We reject the notion that the New Covenant nullifies the moral law of Father Yahuwah.
  • We reject every system that places another human mediator between believers and the Father.

We Therefore

We therefore rejoice in the grace of the New Covenant, seeking to obey Father Yahuwah from hearts transformed by His Spirit rather than through outward compulsion alone.

ARTICLE XII

The Moral Law

We Affirm

We affirm that the Ten Commandments express the holy and unchanging character of Father Yahuwah.

Far from being abolished, the moral law continues to reveal His will for all humanity and serves as the standard of righteous living. Obedience does not earn salvation, but it is the joyful response of those who have been redeemed by grace.

We Confess

We confess that love for Father Yahuwah is demonstrated through obedience to His commandments, while love for our neighbors fulfills the practical intent of the law.

We Reject

  • We reject every teaching that portrays Father Yahuwah’s commandments as burdensome or obsolete.
  • We reject legalism, which seeks salvation through law-keeping, and lawlessness, which uses grace as an excuse for disobedience.

We Therefore

We therefore delight in the commandments of Father Yahuwah, not as a means of earning His favor, but as the grateful expression of hearts made new through His grace.

ARTICLE XIII

The Sabbath

We Affirm

We affirm that the seventh-day Sabbath was established by Father Yahuwah at Creation as a holy gift for all humanity.

The Sabbath remains a perpetual memorial of creation, a sign of covenant faithfulness, and a weekly invitation to rest in Father Yahuwah’s provision and rejoice in His goodness. It is to be observed according to the Creator’s appointed calendar.

We Confess

We confess that the Sabbath is a delight rather than a burden.

It calls believers away from ordinary labor to worship, fellowship, acts of mercy, and joyful communion with Father Yahuwah.

We Reject

  • We reject every human tradition that changes or replaces the Sabbath appointed by the Creator.
  • We reject both legalistic burdens that obscure its blessing and careless attitudes that disregard its sanctity.

We Therefore

We therefore joyfully set apart the Sabbath as holy, celebrating it as a weekly foretaste of the everlasting rest that awaits the people of Father Yahuwah.

ARTICLE XIV

Biblical Dietary Holiness

We Affirm

We affirm that Father Yahuwah, in His wisdom and love, distinguished between clean and unclean foods for the benefit of His people.

These instructions promote reverence for the Creator, respect for the human body, and wise stewardship of the life He has entrusted to us.

We Confess

We confess that our bodies are gifts from Father Yahuwah and should be cared for in ways that honor Him.

We Reject

  • We reject the view that biblical dietary distinctions are meaningless or irrelevant to the believer’s walk with Father Yahuwah.

We Therefore

We therefore seek to honor Father Yahuwah in the care of our bodies, recognizing that faithful stewardship reflects gratitude to the Giver of life.

ARTICLE XV

Baptism

We Affirm

We affirm that baptism is the public confession of repentance, faith, and union with Master Yahushua the Messiah.

It symbolizes the believer’s death to sin, burial of the old life, and resurrection to walk in newness of life. Baptism follows personal faith and marks entrance into the community of believers. Under exceptional circumstances, where no qualified believer is available to baptize, self-baptism may be undertaken as an act of sincere obedience to Father Yahuwah.

We Confess

We confess that baptism does not save. Salvation is received by grace through faith.

Yet every believer who has come to faith should willingly obey the Master’s command to be baptized.

We Reject

  • We reject every confidence placed in outward ceremonies apart from genuine repentance and living faith.
  • We likewise reject withholding baptism from sincere believers merely because extraordinary circumstances prevent the usual administration of the ordinance.

We Therefore

We therefore encourage every believer to confess Master Yahushua openly through baptism and thereafter to walk faithfully in the new life received through the grace of Father Yahuwah.

THE RESTORATION CONFESSION

Part III

CREATION AND WORSHIP

“Worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.”

Introduction to Part III

Creation is the foundation of worship.

Father Yahuwah is worthy of worship because He alone is the Creator of all things. The order He established in creation reveals His wisdom, His authority, and His loving purpose for mankind. Therefore, true worship cannot be separated from the created order He has revealed in Scripture. Every appointed time, every act of worship, and every expression of faithful obedience ultimately points back to the Creator Himself.

The purpose of this Book is to confess the truths of creation and worship as they have been revealed by Yahuwah, and to reject every tradition or philosophy that obscures His testimony.

ARTICLE XVI

Biblical Cosmology

We Affirm

We affirm that Father Yahuwah created the heavens and the earth by His spoken word in six literal days and rested on the seventh day, blessing and sanctifying it as a perpetual memorial of His completed work. Creation is the foundation of history, worship, and redemption.

We affirm that the biblical account of creation is true in all that it teaches. The heavens declare the glory of Father Yahuwah, and the created order bears faithful witness to His wisdom, power, and sovereignty.

We confess that the earth is the unique dwelling place prepared by Yahuwah for mankind. According to the testimony of Scripture, the earth is established upon firm foundations and shall not be moved. Above the earth, Yahuwah stretched out the firmament to separate the waters above from the waters below, and within this ordered creation He placed the sun, moon, and stars to serve His purposes.

The heavenly lights were appointed not to govern mankind by astrology, but to provide light upon the earth and to mark signs, seasons, days, and years according to the will of the Creator.

We Confess

We confess that the biblical account of creation is neither myth nor allegory, but the historical foundation upon which the Gospel itself rests. As the first Adam introduced sin into the world through disobedience, so the Second Adam brings life through faithful obedience. Redemption therefore presupposes the truth of creation.

We further confess that whenever human theories conflict with the plain testimony of Scripture, the Word of Yahuwah must remain our highest authority.

We Reject

  • We reject every philosophy that attributes creation to blind chance, naturalistic evolution, or any process that excludes the direct creative work of Yahuwah.
  • We reject every cosmological system that contradicts the plain testimony of Scripture concerning the created order.
  • We reject astrology and every attempt to assign divine authority or spiritual power to the heavenly bodies.

We Therefore

We therefore worship Yahuwah as the Creator of heaven and earth, receiving His testimony with humility and proclaiming His creative power to every generation.

ARTICLE XVII

The Creator’s Calendar

We Affirm

We affirm that Father Yahuwah established His own calendar at creation through the heavenly lights He appointed in the heavens. Time itself belongs to the Creator, and He alone possesses the authority to determine the days and seasons by which His people worship Him.

We affirm that the biblical calendar is founded upon the visible testimony of the sun and the moon as ordained by Father Yahuwah. The New Moon marks the beginning of each month, and the weekly Sabbaths and annual appointed times are determined according to the calendar established by the Creator rather than by human tradition.

The calendar of Father Yahuwah is not merely a method of measuring time; it is part of His revealed order and an expression of His sovereign authority over creation.

We Confess

We confess that sacred time is a divine gift.

By observing the appointments established by Yahuwah, believers acknowledge His lordship over every season of life and bear witness that He alone has the authority to determine the times of worship.

The Creator’s calendar unites creation, redemption, and prophecy into one harmonious testimony of Yahuwah’s faithfulness.

We Reject

  • We reject every human calendar insofar as it claims authority to replace or alter the sacred appointments established by Father Yahuwah.
  • We reject the assumption that human tradition possesses authority to redefine the times Yahuwah has declared holy.

We Therefore

We therefore seek to order our worship according to the calendar established by the Creator, desiring to honor His appointments rather than the traditions of men.

ARTICLE XVIII

The Annual Appointed Times

We Affirm

We affirm that Yahuwah established annual appointed times as part of His redemptive plan and as enduring testimonies to His mighty acts. These appointed times reveal the unfolding work of redemption accomplished through Yahushua the Messiah and the ultimate restoration of all things.

We confess that the biblical feasts possess profound instructional and prophetic significance. They continually remind the people of Yahuwah of His faithfulness throughout history and strengthen their hope in the complete fulfillment of His Kingdom.

While believers are not justified by observing these appointed times, many freely choose to celebrate them as joyful memorials of Yahuwah’s saving work and as opportunities for worship, thanksgiving, fellowship, and instruction.

We Confess

We confess that every appointed feast ultimately directs our attention to Master Yahushua the Messiah and the glorious purposes of the Father.

They encourage believers to remember the past with gratitude, live faithfully in the present, and anticipate with joyful expectation the fulfillment of Father Yahuwah’s promises.

We Reject

  • We reject both legalism, which makes the observance of the appointed times a condition of salvation, and neglect, which dismisses their enduring spiritual value and biblical significance.
  • We reject every attempt to substitute human festivals for the appointments established by Yahuwah.

We Therefore

We therefore esteem the appointed times as gifts from our heavenly Father, using them to deepen our understanding of Scripture, strengthen fellowship among believers, teach our children the mighty works of Father Yahuwah, and rejoice together in the hope of His coming Kingdom.

Conclusion to Part III

Creation declares the glory of Father Yahuwah.

Time belongs to Father Yahuwah.

Worship belongs to Father Yahuwah.

The people who honor the Creator seek to worship Him according to His Word rather than according to human tradition. They recognize His authority over creation, over sacred time, and over every aspect of life.

As the heavens faithfully proclaim His glory day after day, so His people proclaim His truth from generation to generation until the appearing of Master Yahushua the Messiah.

End of Part III

“Great and marvelous are Your works, Yahuwah Elohim Almighty; just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints.”

THE RESTORATION CONFESSION

Part IV

THE BLESSED HOPE

“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great Elohim and our Savior Yahushua the Messiah.”

Introduction to Part IV

The hope of the believer is not found in escaping the earth, but in the fulfillment of Yahuwah’s promises.

From the beginning, the Father purposed to restore all that sin has broken. Through Yahushua the Messiah, He has promised the resurrection of the righteous, the judgment of the world, the destruction of evil, and the establishment of His everlasting Kingdom upon the New Earth. The blessed hope of the ekklesia is therefore not centered upon death, but upon the glorious appearing of Yahushua.

Bible prophecy was given to strengthen faith, not to encourage endless speculation. Its purpose is to reveal Yahuwah’s faithfulness throughout history and to prepare His people to remain steadfast until the end. Because we believe the great body of biblical prophecy has already reached its fulfillment and that we are now living in Satan’s final “little time” of deception, believers should live every day in joyful expectation. Although the length of this final period has not been revealed, the next great event in Yahuwah’s redemptive plan is the sudden, visible, and glorious appearing of Yahushua the Messiah.

ARTICLE XIX

The Glorious Appearing of Yahushua

We Affirm

We affirm that Yahushua the Messiah will personally, visibly, literally, and gloriously return to the earth at the time appointed by the Father. This blessed event is the supreme hope of every believer and the consummation of Yahuwah’s redemptive plan.

At His appearing the dead in Messiah shall be raised, the living righteous shall be transformed, the faithful shall be gathered to Him, and the Kingdom of Yahuwah shall be openly manifested.

His return will not be secret, invisible, or known only to a select few. It will be witnessed by all and accompanied by power, glory, and divine authority.

We Confess

We confess that the timing of Yahushua’s return has not been revealed to mankind.

No person knows the day or the hour appointed by the Father. Therefore, our calling is not to predict dates, but to remain faithful in every generation.

Because the Father alone knows the appointed time, every day should be lived in readiness, joyful expectation, and faithful obedience.

We Reject

  • We reject every attempt to determine the date of Yahushua’s return.
  • We reject every teaching that diminishes the visible and literal nature of His appearing.
  • We reject every attitude of complacency that postpones faithfulness while waiting for additional signs.

We Therefore

We therefore watch, pray, labor faithfully, and encourage one another, living each day as servants ready to welcome their returning Master.

ARTICLE XX

The State of the Dead

We Affirm

We affirm that death is an unconscious sleep.

When a person dies, conscious thought ceases. The dead neither praise Yahuwah, communicate with the living, nor experience reward or punishment until the resurrection. The hope of both the righteous and the wicked rests in the future resurrection appointed by Yahuwah.

We affirm that mankind does not possess an inherently immortal soul. Immortality is the gift of Yahuwah, bestowed upon the righteous at the resurrection through Yahushua the Messiah.

We Confess

We confess that the resurrection is the believer’s comfort in bereavement.

Our hope rests not in imagined conversations with departed loved ones, but in the sure promise that Yahushua will call His sleeping saints from their graves when He appears in glory.

The silence of death magnifies the certainty of the resurrection.

We Reject

  • We reject every doctrine that teaches the conscious existence of the dead.
  • We reject prayers to departed saints, communication with the dead, séances, mediums, spiritism, channeling, ancestor worship, and every form of necromancy forbidden by Scripture.
  • We also reject modern practices that encourage people to seek emotional comfort, spiritual guidance, or the illusion of continued fellowship with the dead through technological simulations or other means. Though such practices may employ new methods, they rest upon the same false assumption that the dead remain available to the living. Our comfort belongs in the promises of Yahuwah, not in imitations that obscure the biblical hope of the resurrection.

We Therefore

We therefore comfort one another with the promise of the resurrection, refusing every ancient or modern form of deception that seeks to replace the blessed hope with counterfeit communion.

ARTICLE XXI

Conditional Immortality, Judgment, and the Destiny of Mankind

We Affirm

We affirm that immortality belongs inherently to Father Yahuwah alone.

Everlasting life is His gift to those who believe in His Son. The redeemed shall receive immortality at the resurrection, while the wicked shall ultimately perish under the righteous judgment of Yahuwah.

We affirm that the final judgment perfectly demonstrates both the justice and mercy of Father Yahuwah. Every person shall answer for his deeds, and every judgment shall be righteous.

We Confess

We confess that the destruction of the wicked is final and irreversible.

Sin, death, and every form of rebellion shall be completely removed from Yahuwah’s creation.

The universe shall not remain eternally divided between righteousness and evil.

We Reject

  • We reject the doctrine of the inherent immortality of the soul.
  • We reject the teaching of eternal conscious torment.
  • We reject every portrayal of Father Yahuwah that contradicts His perfect justice, holiness, and love.

We Therefore

We therefore proclaim both the mercy and the justice of Father Yahuwah, calling all people to repentance while the day of salvation remains open.

ARTICLE XXII

The New Heavens and the New Earth

We Affirm

We affirm that after the complete triumph of Father Yahuwah’s Kingdom, He shall create a New Heavens and a New Earth wherein righteousness dwells.

The redeemed shall inherit the earth renewed, free from sin, suffering, death, mourning, and pain. Father Yahuwah Himself shall dwell with His people forever, and His Kingdom shall have no end.

We Confess

We confess that the destiny of the redeemed is not an endless existence apart from the earth, but everlasting life within the restored creation prepared by the Father from the foundation of the world.

The promise given to Abraham shall reach its complete fulfillment when the meek inherit the earth forever.

We Reject

  • We reject every teaching that separates the believer’s eternal inheritance from the restored creation promised throughout Scripture.

We Therefore

We therefore live as pilgrims who eagerly await the renewal of all things, striving to reflect even now the righteousness that shall characterize the everlasting Kingdom.

ARTICLE XXIII

Bible Prophecy

We Affirm

We affirm that biblical prophecy reveals the sovereignty of Father Yahuwah over history.

He declares the end from the beginning, accomplishing every purpose according to His perfect wisdom. Fulfilled prophecy strengthens faith, confirms the reliability of Scripture, and assures believers that the remaining promises shall likewise be fulfilled.

We Confess

We confess that prophecy was given to reveal Father Yahuwah’s redemptive plan rather than to satisfy human curiosity.

Its proper study produces humility, confidence, perseverance, and worship.

We Reject

  • We reject speculative systems that obscure the plain testimony of Scripture or encourage endless predictions concerning future events.

We Therefore

We therefore study prophecy with reverence, allowing fulfilled prophecy to strengthen our confidence while looking expectantly toward those promises that remain.

ARTICLE XXIV

The Little Time of Deception and Constant Readiness

We Affirm

We affirm that the prophecies concerning the destruction of Jerusalem and the close of the Old Covenant age were fulfilled exactly as Master Yahushua foretold. The fall of Jerusalem in AD 70 vindicated His prophetic words, confirmed Him as the promised Messiah, and marked the visible end of the Old Covenant sacrificial system.

We further affirm that Master Yahushua now reigns from the Father’s right hand over His everlasting Kingdom. His reign did not begin in a future earthly millennium but commenced with His victory through His ministry, death, resurrection, and ascension. During this present Gospel age, Satan was restrained so that he could no longer prevent the Good News from reaching the nations. The symbolic “thousand years” represents this complete period appointed by Father Yahuwah during which the Gospel advanced throughout the world.

We affirm that Revelation 20 does not continue Revelation 19 as a simple chronological sequence but presents the same Gospel age from another perspective, revealing Christ’s heavenly reign, the restraint of Satan, and the certainty of the final resurrection and judgment. Scripture consistently teaches one final resurrection, one final judgment, and one glorious appearing of Yahushua at the close of history.

We further affirm that, when the symbolic millennium reaches its appointed end, Satan is released for a comparatively brief “little time” to deceive the nations once again. We believe we are now living in that final season. Its defining characteristic is not merely political turmoil or military conflict, but an unprecedented worldwide deception affecting humanity’s understanding of Yahuwah, creation, truth, and mankind itself.

We believe that the convergence of worldwide communication, digital technology, artificial intelligence, transhumanism, and the widespread rejection of the biblical account of creation provides compelling evidence that this deception has reached a scale unknown in previous generations. For the first time in history, ideas capable of shaping the beliefs of nearly all humanity can spread across the world almost instantaneously. Although each development may be examined individually, together they display the worldwide character of deception described in Revelation 20.

We do not claim certainty regarding the precise duration of this little season. The Father alone knows how long this final period will continue. Nevertheless, we believe its very existence signals that the next great event in Yahuwah’s redemptive plan is the sudden, visible, and glorious return of Yahushua the Messiah.

We Confess

We confess that Satan’s greatest weapon in this final season is deception.

His purpose is not merely to promote unbelief, but to persuade humanity to trust human wisdom above divine revelation, to replace the biblical account of creation with alternative worldviews, to redefine human identity apart from the Creator, and increasingly to look to technology for guidance, transformation, and salvation rather than to Yahuwah.

We further confess that the final gathering of the nations against the saints is fundamentally spiritual before it becomes physical. As deception deepens, the world is increasingly united in opposition to the truth of Yahuwah and to those who faithfully keep His commandments and bear witness to Yahushua. This gathering corresponds to the Gog and Magog rebellion described in Revelation and will reach its climax only when Yahuwah Himself intervenes.

We confess that this understanding does not produce fear but hope.

The apparent success of deception is temporary.

The reign of Yahushua is permanent.

Satan’s freedom is limited.

His defeat is certain.

History remains under the sovereign government of Yahuwah.

We Reject

  • We reject every prophetic system that postpones the reign of Yahushua to a future earthly kingdom.
  • We reject every attempt to calculate the date of His return.
  • We reject sensationalism that turns prophecy into speculation rather than preparation.
  • We reject the false confidence that human technology, political systems, scientific achievement, or artificial intelligence can provide the salvation, wisdom, or transformation that belong to Father Yahuwah alone.
  • We also reject complacency.

Because we believe we are living in Satan’s little season, we refuse to assume that history will continue indefinitely or that future generations will necessarily enjoy greater spiritual opportunities than our own.

We Therefore

We therefore resolve to remain spiritually awake.

We will test every teaching by the Scriptures.

We will reject deception, however persuasive it may appear.

We will proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom with renewed urgency while the door of mercy remains open.

We will encourage one another to persevere in holiness, faith, and love.

Knowing that we may now be living in Satan’s final little season, we will not speculate about dates, yet neither will we delay repentance or faithful service.

Rather, we will live every day in joyful expectation, knowing that the next great act in the Father’s redemptive plan is the sudden appearing of Master Yahushua the Messiah, who will raise the dead, judge the nations, destroy Satan forever, abolish death itself, and establish the everlasting New Heavens and the New Earth. Therefore we pray with confidence:

“Even so, come, Yahushua.”

Conclusion to Part IV

The blessed hope of the believer is not death.

It is not escape.

It is not speculation.

It is the appearing of Master Yahushua.

Until that glorious day, we choose faith over fear, truth over deception, perseverance over complacency, and hope over despair.

Our eyes remain fixed upon the promise of the Father.

Our confidence rests in the finished work of the Son.

Our strength is supplied by the Holy Spirit.

And our hearts continually pray:

“Even so, come, Yahushua.”

End of Part IV

“He who testifies to these things says, ‘Surely I am coming quickly.’ Amen. Even so, come, Master Yahushua.”

THE RESTORATION CONFESSION

Part V

THE REMNANT

“Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of Yahuwah, and the faith of Yahushua.”

Introduction to Part V

Throughout history, Yahuwah has preserved for Himself a faithful remnant.

Though often small in number and opposed by the world, His people have never been extinguished. They are united not by nationality, race, language, or denomination, but by their love for Yahuwah, their faith in Yahushua the Messiah, and their obedience to the Scriptures.

In these closing days of history, as deception spreads throughout the nations and the final conflict between truth and error intensifies, Yahuwah continues to call His people out of confusion and into covenant faithfulness. The remnant exists not for its own preservation, but for the proclamation of the everlasting Gospel and the preparation of the world for the glorious appearing of Yahushua.

ARTICLE XXV

The People of Yahuwah

We Affirm

We affirm that there is one people of Yahuwah.

From Abel until the final generation, all who trust in the promises of Yahuwah and remain faithful to Him belong to one covenant family. Under the New Covenant, believing Jews and believing Gentiles alike are united through Yahushua the Messiah, becoming fellow heirs of the promises made to Abraham.

We affirm that membership among the people of Yahuwah is established through faith in Yahushua and evidenced by faithful obedience, not by ethnicity, national identity, or membership in any earthly religious organization.

The ekklesia is therefore the spiritual household of Yahuwah, gathered from every tribe, language, people, and nation.

We Confess

We confess that Yahuwah shows no partiality.

Every believer stands equally before Him through the grace revealed in His Son.

Our highest citizenship is in the Kingdom of Yahuwah.

Our first loyalty belongs to our heavenly Father.

Our deepest unity is found in His truth.

We Reject

  • We reject every teaching that divides the redeemed into separate classes possessing different hopes or different covenants.
  • We reject every doctrine that bases covenant standing upon race, nationality, or earthly ancestry rather than upon faith in Yahushua.
  • We reject sectarian pride that elevates denominational identity above faithfulness to Scripture.

We Therefore

We therefore receive with joy all who faithfully confess Yahushua as Messiah and seek to obey the Father according to His Word, recognizing them as fellow members of the household of Yahuwah.

ARTICLE XXVI

The Gifts of the Holy Spirit

We Affirm

We affirm that the Holy Spirit continues to work among the people of Yahuwah, equipping believers with spiritual gifts for the building up of the ekklesia and the advancement of the Gospel. Every gift originates with Yahuwah and is entrusted for service rather than personal exaltation.

We affirm that the Spirit produces both godly character and faithful service. The fruit of the Spirit provides the surest evidence of His indwelling presence.

We further affirm that the biblical gift of tongues consists of genuine human languages miraculously enabled by the Holy Spirit for the communication of the Gospel. The gifts of the Spirit must always operate according to the order established in Scripture and for the edification of the body.

We Confess

We confess that every believer has been called to serve.

No gift is given for self-promotion.

No ministry exists independently of love.

No manifestation of the Spirit may contradict the written Word of Yahuwah.

We Reject

  • We reject counterfeit spiritual manifestations that exalt emotional experience above biblical truth.
  • We reject confusion in worship and every practice that departs from the apostolic pattern established in Scripture.
  • We reject every claim of spiritual authority that diminishes the supremacy of the Bible.

We Therefore

We therefore seek the gifts of the Spirit with humility, exercising them in love, reverence, and submission to the Scriptures, so that Yahuwah alone receives the glory.

ARTICLE XXVII

The Home Ekklesia

We Affirm

We affirm that the ekklesia is the community of believers called out by Yahuwah to worship Him in spirit and in truth.

Where circumstances require, believers may faithfully gather in homes and simple assemblies without dependence upon institutional structures. The presence of Yahushua among His gathered people does not depend upon buildings, denominational recognition, or ecclesiastical hierarchy.

We affirm that every home devoted to Yahuwah may become a place of worship, prayer, study, fellowship, and mutual encouragement.

We Confess

We confess that the health of the ekklesia depends not upon worldly influence but upon faithfulness to the Word of Yahuwah.

True fellowship is built upon shared devotion to the Father, mutual love, prayer, service, and the careful study of the Scriptures.

Every believer bears responsibility for encouraging, strengthening, and caring for fellow members of the body.

We Reject

  • We reject every system that places institutional loyalty above loyalty to Yahuwah.
  • We reject the notion that authentic worship requires elaborate ceremonies, sacred buildings, or human hierarchies.
  • We reject isolation that neglects fellowship with other faithful believers whenever such fellowship is possible.

We Therefore

We therefore cultivate homes where Father Yahuwah is honored, the Scriptures are diligently studied, children are instructed in righteousness, believers are encouraged, and the Gospel is proclaimed with joy.

ARTICLE XXVIII

The Mission of the Remnant

We Affirm

We affirm that Yahuwah has entrusted His remnant with the solemn responsibility of proclaiming the everlasting Gospel of the Kingdom to every nation, tribe, language, and people before the return of Yahushua.

This mission includes calling men and women to repentance, restoring forgotten biblical truth, exposing religious deception, strengthening believers in the Scriptures, and preparing a people ready to meet their returning Master.

In this final little season of deception, the mission of the remnant becomes more urgent than ever. As Satan seeks to unite the nations against the truth of Yahuwah, the people of Yahuwah must faithfully proclaim His Word with courage, humility, and love.

We Confess

We confess that the Gospel is an invitation before it is a warning.

Our calling is not to condemn the world but to bear faithful witness to the mercy of Yahuwah revealed through His Son.

We confess that restoration is an ongoing work.

Whenever Scripture corrects our understanding, we willingly submit ourselves to its authority.

The remnant must therefore remain teachable, humble, and continually reforming according to the written Word.

We Reject

  • We reject fear that silences the proclamation of truth.
  • We reject compromise that exchanges biblical doctrine for worldly approval.
  • We reject pride that imagines the remnant exists for its own honor rather than for faithful service.
  • We reject every distraction that diverts the ekklesia from proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom.

We Therefore

We therefore dedicate ourselves to proclaiming the everlasting Gospel until Yahushua appears.

We will search the Scriptures daily.

We will restore forgotten truths wherever the Word of Yahuwah leads.

We will strengthen the weary.

We will encourage the faithful.

We will expose deception with gentleness and courage.

We will call every nation to repentance.

We will patiently endure opposition.

We will remain awake during Satan’s little season.

We will eagerly await the glorious appearing of Yahushua.

The Restoration Confession - The Official Doctrinal Manifesto of World's Last Chance

CONCLUSION

The Restoration Covenant

Standing before Yahuwah, the Creator of heaven and earth,

Trusting wholly in His grace,

Depending upon the Holy Spirit of Yahuwah to renew, guide, and strengthen us,

Confessing Yahushua the Messiah as His only begotten Son,

Receiving the Holy Scriptures as our only infallible rule of faith,

We solemnly covenant:

To worship Yahuwah alone.

To honor His holy Name.

To follow His beloved Son.

To love His commandments.

To walk by faith.

To seek holiness.

To reject deception.

To proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom.

To restore forgotten biblical truth.

To encourage one another daily.

To remain watchful during Satan’s little season.

To live every day in joyful expectation of the sudden appearing of Yahushua.

Should opposition arise,

we will remain faithful.

Should deception increase,

we will hold fast to the Scriptures.

Should the nations gather against the saints,

we will not fear,

for Yahuwah reigns,

Yahushua intercedes,

the Holy Spirit strengthens,

and the Kingdom cannot fail.

Until the trumpet sounds,

the dead are raised,

the King appears,

and all things are made new,

this shall remain our confession.

Closing Doxology

To Yahuwah alone,

the everlasting King,

the Creator of all things,

be glory,

wisdom,

majesty,

dominion,

and praise,

through His only begotten Son,

Yahushua the Messiah,

who loved us,

redeemed us,

and shall soon appear in glory.

To Him be honor forever.

Amen.

The Restoration Covenant

(A Confessional Anthem)

[Verse 1]
Before Your throne, O Yahuwah,
Creator, King above,
We stand by grace through Yahushua,
Redeemed by steadfast love.

Your holy Word shall be our guide,
Our lamp through every day;
No voice of man, no earthly pride
Shall turn our feet away.

[Verse 2]
We worship You, the only Elohim,
Your holy Name adore;
Through Yahushua, Your only Son,
We’ll praise forevermore.

We’ll walk by faith and not by sight,
Your covenant embrace;
Your Spirit keeps our pathway bright,
Your truth our dwelling place.

[Chorus]
We will stand!
We will stand!
On Your everlasting Word.

We will watch!
We will pray!
Till our Master’s voice is heard.

Though deception fills the earth,
Though the nations rage and roar,
We will keep the faith of Yahushua
Forevermore.

[Verse 3]
We’ll love Your law with joyful hearts,
Not seeking merit there;
Your saving grace has set us free
To walk in faithful care.

We’ll seek the lost with truth and love,
Your Kingdom to proclaim,
Till every tribe beneath the heavens
Has heard Your holy Name.

[Verse 4]
The ancient paths we’ll not forsake,
Nor sacred truth deny;
We’ll test each teaching by Your Word,
And every spirit try.

Though many wander from Your ways,
We’ll neither fear nor flee;
For Yahuwah reigns forevermore,
Our Rock eternally.

[Bridge]
Though darkness gathers round the saints,
We’ll never be dismayed;
Your promises cannot be moved,
Your Kingdom shall not fade.

Though Satan’s little season comes
To spread deceit abroad,
Your truth shall triumph over all—
The victory is Yahuwah’s.

[Verse 5]
We’ll strengthen all the faint of heart,
The weary and oppressed;
We’ll build each home upon Your Word,
Where faithful souls find rest.

We’ll guard the flock with humble love,
Till all Your work is done,
Awaiting still with lifted eyes
The coming of Your Son.

[Final Chorus]
We will stand!
We will stand!
On Your everlasting Word.

We will watch!
We will pray!
Till our Master’s voice is heard.

Though deception fills the earth,
Still our hope shall never cease;
For Yahushua soon is coming—
King of Peace.

[Outro]
Standing firm till faith is sight,
Holding fast through darkest night,
Trusting every promise given,
Waiting for the King from heaven.

To Yahuwah be all glory.
To Yahushua be all praise.
We will keep this Restoration Covenant
All our days.

Dear WLC:

When did WLC notice the releasing of Satan, to be loosed a little season by the increase of deception going on in the world? And hence, the end of the symbolic Millennium, since the Millennium is not a literal 1,000 years. But I would guess to come to an end lasting about 1,995 years?

Looking forward to your response.

In Yahuwah’s service and love, 🥰♥️

Beloved Tony,

Thank you for your thoughtful question. WLC understands the “thousand years” of Revelation 20 as a symbolic period rather than as a period that must be understood as exactly 1,000 literal years. However, we would be cautious about assigning a precise beginning or ending date to that period unless Scripture itself provides such a date.

Revelation 20 says that Satan is bound so that he should “deceive the nations no more” until the thousand years are fulfilled, after which he must be “loosed a little season” (Revelation 20:2–3). It then describes a final increase in Satan’s activity and deception before his ultimate destruction (Revelation 20:7–10). The important point is that Scripture gives us the prophetic sequence, but it does not tell us to identify a particular modern year as the exact moment when Satan was released.

We certainly recognize that the world is experiencing an extraordinary increase in deception, lawlessness, confusion, and rejection of biblical truth. Scripture itself warns that deception would increase as the end approaches (2 Timothy 3:1–5, 13). These developments should therefore cause every Bible student to examine the prophetic record carefully. But WLC does not believe that present conditions, by themselves, give us sufficient grounds to declare, “The symbolic Millennium ended in this particular year.”

As for the suggestion of approximately 1,995 years, that is an interesting possibility, but it remains a hypothesis unless it can be established from Scripture. WLC’s position is that we must distinguish between what Scripture actually establishes and what we may reasonably infer from current events. We should never make an inference into a doctrine.

The Restoration Confession is intended to call believers back to the authority of Scripture. Therefore, if the biblical evidence establishes that the Millennium should be understood symbolically and that its completion can be calculated from a specific prophetic starting point, WLC is willing to examine that evidence. Likewise, if Scripture provides a sound basis for identifying the present increase in deception with the “little season” of Revelation 20, we would be willing to consider it.

At present, however, WLC would not claim that we know the exact year in which Satan was released. We believe the safer and more biblical approach is to recognize the signs Scripture gives us, remain watchful, and allow Scripture—not speculation about dates—to determine what we can confidently affirm. “Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein” (Revelation 1:3).🥰♥️

Dear WLC:

When did the Millennium actually begin? Did it start with Yahushua’s birth? Or did the Millennium actually start with Yahushua’s personal Ministry? Or did it start with the death of Yahushua’s death, burial and resurrection? Or the death of Yahushua on the cross? Or did it begin with Yahushua’s conception in Mary’s womb?

Beloved Tony,

The Millennium did not begin with Yahushua’s conception, birth, or earthly ministry. Scripture connects the thousand-year reign specifically with the resurrection and the reign of the saints with Messiah (Revelation 20:4–6). Therefore, if we are asking when the prophetic Millennium began, the key event is Yahushua’s death, resurrection, and exaltation—not His birth or conception. 🥰♥️

The traditional argument — that the 69 “weeks” (483 years) from a decree to “Messiah the Prince” lands precisely on Jesus — has several independent problems, and they compound each other rather than being separate long shots that all happen to work out.

The year-length convention is switched specifically to make the math land. Daniel and Revelation both use a 360-day prophetic year elsewhere — that’s how “time, times, and half a time” gets equated with 1,260 days and 42 months in Revelation. If you apply that same 360-day year consistently to the 69 weeks (483 years x 360 days = 173,880 days), and convert that to actual solar years, you get roughly 476 years, not 483. Starting from 457 BC and adding ~476 years lands you around AD 19–20, not AD 27. To reach AD 27, the calculation has to switch to standard 365-day solar years for this specific prophecy while using 360-day years everywhere else in the same book’s other time prophecies. That’s not a neutral methodological choice — it’s the convention that happens to be needed here, and a different one used elsewhere.

The starting date itself is contested, as I noted last time — 457 vs. 458 BC depends on which calendar and regnal-year-counting convention you pick, and reasonable historians land on either. A seven-year uncertainty compounded with a one-year calendar uncertainty is already enough slack to hit several different plausible target years.

The terminus — “AD 27 for Jesus’s baptism” — isn’t an independently fixed date either. It’s derived from Luke 3:1, which dates John the Baptist’s ministry to “the fifteenth year of Tiberius Caesar.” That itself is ambiguous: Tiberius became co-regent with Augustus around AD 11–12 and sole emperor in AD 14, and which starting point you use shifts the 15th year by several years. So you have real uncertainty on both ends of the calculation — the decree date and the “Messiah” date — and both get resolved in whichever direction produces a match.

The “cut off… in the midst of the week” detail has a genuine grammatical problem. Daniel 9:27 says “he” will confirm a covenant and cause sacrifice to cease mid-week. The traditional Christian reading takes “he” as the Messiah, referring to the crucifixion ending the sacrificial system’s significance. But the closest grammatical antecedent to “he” in the preceding verse is “the prince that shall come” — a different figure than Messiah, introduced as the one who destroys the city and sanctuary. Reading “he” as Messiah rather than as this other prince requires overriding the nearest antecedent, which is a real and long-standing point of disagreement among interpreters, not just a modern skeptical objection.

The relationship between the 69th and 70th week is handled completely differently by different traditions that all claim the passage points to Jesus, which is itself revealing. Dispensationalist readings insert a gap of nearly two thousand years between the 69th and 70th week, pushing the 70th week into a future end-times tribulation. Adventist and many historicist readings instead run straight through with no gap, landing the 70th week in the AD 27–34 range around the crucifixion. These aren’t minor variations — they’re structurally incompatible ways of reading the same verse, and the fact that sincere, detailed interpreters land on opposite structures suggests the text isn’t yielding one obvious reading; each tradition is fitting the structure to whichever historical target it already has in mind.

Put together, there are enough adjustable choices that a match isn’t surprising. You’re choosing among four candidate decrees, two year-length conventions, at least two calendar-reckoning methods, a “year zero” adjustment that’s applied only where needed, and a target date on the Jesus side that itself spans several plausible years depending on how you read Luke 3:1 and how you date the crucifixion (mainstream historical estimates for the crucifixion range from AD 30 to 33, with no settled consensus). With that many independently adjustable parameters, landing close to some meaningful year in Jesus’s life is much less improbable than it’s usually presented — it’s less a striking predictive hit and more a calculation with enough dials that it can be tuned to reach a preferred target.

I’d also flag, for fairness, that not every version of this argument is equally vulnerable. Harold Hoehner’s well-known evangelical chronology avoids several of these problems by starting from the 445 BC Nehemiah decree instead of 457 BC, and applies 360-day years consistently throughout — landing on AD 33 for the crucifixion through a more internally consistent method. That version is still debated and still depends on choices among live scholarly options, but it doesn’t have the specific solar/prophetic-year inconsistency that the 457 BC Adventist version has, since it doesn’t need the extra seven years the switch to solar counting provides.

And as before, it’s worth noting that mainstream non-confessional scholarship on Daniel places the book’s composition in the 2nd century BC and reads the seventy weeks as terminating in the Maccabean crisis of the 160s BC — in which case none of this machinery about which convention, which decree, or which Jesus-date is even the right frame, because the passage isn’t functioning as a centuries-forward calculation to either the first century AD

Brother Marko,

We appreciate the effort to identify the different interpretive questions surrounding Daniel 9, but the argument assumes that every legitimate question about chronology makes the prophecy unreliable. That does not follow. A prophecy should be tested by its actual wording, its biblical context, and the historical evidence, not dismissed simply because interpreters disagree about some details.

First, the claim that the 69 weeks require an arbitrary switch from 360-day prophetic years to 365-day solar years is not established. The fact that Daniel and Revelation use 1,260 days, 42 months, and three and a half times in related prophetic contexts does not prove that the word “year” must be converted into 360 solar days in every calculation involving the seventy weeks. The seventy weeks are presented as “sevens,” and the prophecy itself provides the framework for understanding those sevens. The question is therefore not whether someone can mechanically multiply 483 by 360, but whether the biblical text requires that particular conversion. It does not.

Second, the objection about 457 versus 458 BC does not destroy the prophecy. In fact, it demonstrates why the historical starting point must be carefully identified rather than treating every possible decree as equally valid. Daniel 9 does not simply say “any decree issued by a Persian king.” It provides a specific prophetic framework that includes the command to restore and rebuild Jerusalem. The relevant question is which decree actually fits that description. The 457 BC decree associated with Ezra provides a coherent link to the restoration of Jerusalem and to the biblical setting of Daniel’s prophecy. Merely listing alternative dates does not prove that all of them are equally legitimate.

The same problem applies to the argument about Luke 3:1. Yes, there are chronological questions concerning how the fifteenth year of Tiberius should be reckoned. But that does not mean Luke’s statement is useless or that AD 27 is simply a date selected after the fact. Luke deliberately gives a political and historical marker for the beginning of John’s ministry, and the Gospel record then connects John’s ministry with the appearance and baptism of Yahushua. A chronological prophecy does not become meaningless simply because historians debate the exact way an ancient regnal calendar was calculated.

The grammatical argument concerning Daniel 9:27 also deserves more care. It is true that interpreters disagree over the identity of the “he” who confirms the covenant and causes sacrifice and offering to cease. But saying that the nearest antecedent must automatically determine the meaning ignores the larger context. Hebrew grammar, prophetic structure, and the relationship between the Messiah, the covenant, the sacrifice, and the destruction of Jerusalem all have to be considered together. The fact that interpreters disagree does not prove that the passage cannot identify the Messiah. Nor does the existence of a grammatical debate somehow erase the striking connection between the prophecy and the events surrounding Master Yahushua.

The argument about the 69th and 70th weeks also does not prove what you claim it proves. WLC does not need to defend every dispensationalist interpretation of Daniel 9. The important question is what the biblical text itself teaches. A disagreement between dispensationalists, historicists, Adventists, and other interpreters demonstrates that Christians have debated the prophetic structure. It does not demonstrate that the prophecy is incapable of being understood. Different interpretations of a passage do not mean that the passage has no definite meaning.
There is also an important distinction between identifying genuine interpretive questions and claiming that the prophecy has been “tuned” to produce Jesus. The latter assumes the conclusion. The Christian interpretation does not begin with a random historical date and then manipulate every available parameter until Yahushua appears. It begins with Daniel 9, examines the stated prophetic period, identifies the relevant decree, follows the biblical chronology, and then compares the result with the Gospel record. The fact that the resulting chronology corresponds remarkably well with the ministry of Master Yahushua is precisely what makes the prophecy worthy of examination.

Your reference to Harold Hoehner actually strengthens the point that Daniel 9 has been subjected to serious chronological analysis. Hoehner’s approach differs from the 457 BC approach, but disagreement between the two chronological systems does not demonstrate that either cannot be correct. It simply shows that the chronology deserves to be examined against biblical and historical evidence rather than rejected because there are more than one proposed calculation.

Finally, the appeal to modern critical scholarship does not settle the issue. Many scholars date Daniel to the second century BC and therefore interpret the seventy weeks primarily in relation to Antiochus IV and the Maccabean crisis. But that conclusion depends heavily upon the prior assumption that Daniel could not contain genuine predictive prophecy. If one begins by denying supernatural prophecy, then naturally Daniel 9 cannot be allowed to predict Master Yahushua centuries later. That is not an independent refutation of the Christian interpretation; it is a fundamentally different starting assumption about Scripture.

WLC’s position is therefore not that every chronological detail surrounding Daniel 9 is beyond discussion. It is that the prophecy deserves to be read as Scripture rather than being dismissed because modern scholars disagree about how its chronology should be reconstructed. There are legitimate questions concerning calendars, regnal years, decrees, and the identity of the figures in the passage. But legitimate questions are not the same thing as disproof. The real issue is whether Daniel 9 provides a coherent prophetic framework that points forward to the Messiah. We believe the biblical evidence provides good reason to answer yes, and disagreement over particular chronological methods does not, by itself, overturn that conclusion.

I appreciate that your comment tries to hold the line on principle — legitimate questions aren’t automatically disproof, I actually agree with that as a general statement. But notice what it does with almost every specific point I raised: restate the conclusion rather than engage the mechanism. I want to go back through and press where that happened, because the substance is still sitting there unaddressed.

On the year-length question — you’re right that Daniel 9 doesn’t contain an explicit instruction to convert to 360-day years. But that cuts both ways, and I don’t think you’ve noticed which way it cuts against you. The “prophetic day equals a literal year” principle — the entire premise that lets “seventy weeks” mean “490 years” instead of 490 literal days — isn’t stated in Daniel 9 either. It’s imported from the broader apocalyptic framework the book shares with Daniel 7, 12, and Revelation. You’re borrowing that framework’s central convention (day-for-year) while declining to borrow its other convention (the 360-day calendar those same passages consistently use). If the text doesn’t govern the year-length in Daniel 9, then it doesn’t govern the day-for-year principle either, by the same logic — and you need that principle just to get “weeks” to mean “years” in the first place. You can’t treat the surrounding apocalyptic material as authoritative enough to redefine what a “day” means, and then treat it as irrelevant the moment it also tells you how long a “year” is.

On 457 versus 458 — I raised this because the uncertainty affects how impressive the eventual match actually is, not to claim the prophecy collapses because historians disagree. Your response doesn’t touch that. Saying “the relevant question is which decree fits” restates the position; it doesn’t tell me why 457, specifically, rather than 458, is the correct reading of Artaxerxes’ regnal year, when both are defensible depending on the calendar convention chosen.

Same pattern on Luke 3:1. I didn’t say the verse is useless — I said the range of legitimate readings on “the fifteenth year of Tiberius” (depending on whether you count from his co-regency around AD 11–12 or his sole rule in AD 14) gives real latitude on the target end date, which matters when the whole argument rests on a precise multi-century calculation landing on the right year. Saying the verse isn’t meaningless doesn’t answer that.

On the “he” in Daniel 9:27 — you’re right that grammar isn’t decided by nearest antecedent alone, but you haven’t actually made the counter-case, you’ve just said other factors should be weighed. Here’s the actual textual problem: verse 26 introduces “the prince that shall come” as the one whose people destroy the city and the sanctuary — a description that fits the Roman destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70, decades after the crucifixion, not Jesus’s ministry. If that prince is the nearest and most natural referent for “he” in verse 27, then the figure confirming a covenant and stopping sacrifice in the next verse is naturally the same prince, not the Messiah introduced two verses earlier as a separate figure who is “cut off.” That’s not me imposing a rule about proximity — it’s the actual referent the previous verse just built. If you want “he” to mean Messiah instead, that requires an argument for overriding what verse 26 just set up, and this letter doesn’t give me one — it asserts that “the larger context” settles it without saying what in the larger context does the settling.

On the 69th/70th week split — my point wasn’t “disagreement proves no correct answer exists.” It’s that dispensationalists and historicists produce mutually exclusive structures — a nearly two-thousand-year gap inserted mid-prophecy versus none at all — and both camps are equally confident their structure is the one that obviously terminates on Jesus. That’s a specific pattern: independent traditions reverse-engineering incompatible frameworks to reach the same target. That pattern is worth noting regardless of which of them, if either, happens to be right, and the letter doesn’t engage it — it just repeats that disagreement doesn’t equal incoherence, which wasn’t the claim.

On “tuning” — I’d ask you to actually look at what’s being chosen at each fork rather than deny the framing. Decree: 457 over 458, over 445, over the Cyrus or Darius decrees. Year length: solar for this calculation, prophetic elsewhere in the same book. Calendar convention: whichever pairing of Nisan-based Persian reckoning and accession-year counting gets you to 457 specifically. Terminus: whichever reading of Tiberius’s regnal count and crucifixion year lines up. Each of those is a legitimate scholarly option on its own — I’m not saying any single one is illegitimate. What I’m saying is that at every single fork, the choice made is the one that supports the destination, and the letter hasn’t shown me why that specific combination is uniquely required by the text rather than merely available within it.

On Hoehner — my point wasn’t “multiple systems exist, so who knows.” It was that Hoehner’s system is more internally consistent than the 457 BC version specifically, because it doesn’t need to switch between 360-day and 365-day years mid-calculation the way the 457 BC approach does. That’s a specific, checkable methodological difference between the two systems, not a generic “scholars disagree” observation, and it’s still not addressed.

And I want to correct something directly on the critical-dating point, because the letter mischaracterizes what that scholarship actually rests on. It’s not solely the premise that predictive prophecy is impossible. There’s independent textual evidence behind the second-century dating: Daniel contains Greek loanwords for musical instruments that fit a Hellenistic-era setting far better than a sixth-century Babylonian court; the Aramaic in the book is later than the Aramaic of the Persian period and closer to what shows up at Qumran; the book gets basic historical facts about the sixth century wrong in ways a contemporary author is unlikely to — Belshazzar is called “king” and Nebuchadnezzar’s “son” when he was neither, he was Nabonidus’s son and never held the throne; and “Darius the Mede” as a ruler between Belshazzar and Cyrus doesn’t correspond to any known historical figure in that role. And within Daniel 11 itself, the account of the wars between the Hellenistic successor kingdoms is remarkably precise and accurate right up through Antiochus IV’s reign, then turns vague and diverges from what actually happened at exactly the point of his death in 164 BC — the classic signature, in ancient apocalyptic writing generally, of a text accurately narrating the past up to its true composition date and then genuinely guessing at what comes after. That’s a real, independent, textual case, built the same way any ancient document’s date gets argued, not a conclusion smuggled in by philosophical bias. Some scholars in that field are also skeptical of predictive prophecy as a matter of worldview, sure — but the case for the date doesn’t stand or fall on that premise, and presenting it as though it does isn’t accurate.

Brother Marko,

We appreciate the careful way you have presented your objections, and we agree that specific mechanisms should be addressed rather than simply saying that disagreement does not equal disproof. However, several of your objections depend on assumptions that are not as settled as you present them.

On the day-for-year principle, you are correct that Daniel 9 does not explicitly say that one prophetic day equals one literal year. But Daniel 9 also does not say that its seventy “weeks” must be converted into 360-day years. That is why we should not assume that every feature of one prophetic passage must automatically be carried into another. The Hebrew word for “week” means a group of seven, and the context points to a period extending through Israel’s history. The broader biblical context gives reason to understand the seventy sevens as years, but it does not require us to multiply those years by 360 days.

Your 457 versus 458 BC objection also needs to distinguish between calendar conversion and the actual historical date of the decree. Ancient dates do not always correspond neatly to our modern calendar. That is a real chronological issue, but it does not mean the underlying decree itself is uncertain by a full year. The question is which historical decree fits Daniel’s description and how the ancient calendar was actually reckoned. WLC is not claiming that 457 was chosen simply because it produces a desired result. We believe the decree associated with Artaxerxes and Ezra provides a meaningful biblical basis for the starting point.

The same applies to Luke 3:1. We agree that ancient regnal dating requires careful examination. But competing methods of counting Tiberius’s reign do not mean Luke’s date can simply be moved until it produces a desired result. The question is which method best represents the historical evidence. Once that is established, this becomes a historical question rather than a matter of selecting a convenient date.

The argument concerning Daniel 9:27 is more substantial, but we do not believe the grammatical case is decisive. Verse 26 mentions “the prince that shall come,” whose people destroy the city and sanctuary, but it does not say that this prince is the person who confirms the covenant in verse 27. The passage distinguishes the Messiah from the coming prince. The Messiah is “cut off,” while the city and sanctuary are later destroyed by the people of the coming prince. Therefore, “he” cannot be settled simply by choosing the nearest noun. The covenant language, the sacrifices, the Messiah being cut off, and the stated purpose of the seventy weeks must all be considered.

Regarding the 69th and 70th weeks, we agree that the gap in dispensational interpretation is significant. But WLC does not need to defend dispensationalism to defend the messianic reading of Daniel 9. The question is whether Scripture requires the seventy weeks to be treated as one uninterrupted chronological block. Prophecy can move from one event to another without describing every interval between them. The text itself must determine whether a gap exists.

On the charge of “tuning,” an important distinction is being missed. Every ancient chronology involves decisions about calendars, regnal years, accession years, and dating systems. The existence of choices does not prove that those choices were made to reach a predetermined conclusion. To establish tuning, you would need to show that the alternatives were equally supported and that WLC rejected the better-supported ones solely because they produced a different result. Simply listing possible alternatives does not establish that.

Your point about Hoehner is fair in one respect: his 445 BC approach uses a different chronological method and is attractive to many evangelical interpreters because of its mathematical consistency. But mathematical consistency does not establish that 445 BC is the biblical starting point. The first question is which decree Daniel 9 is actually referring to.

Finally, we do not deny that serious arguments exist for a second-century date for Daniel. Arguments concerning language, Greek loanwords, Belshazzar, Darius the Mede, and Daniel 11 deserve examination. But neither are those arguments as conclusive as you suggest. Belshazzar, for example, was not the reigning king in the usual sense, but archaeology confirms that he exercised royal authority as Nabonidus’s son and co-regent. Therefore, Daniel’s royal terminology deserves more careful treatment than simply calling it an obvious historical error. Likewise, the unresolved identity of Darius the Mede is not proof that he never existed.

Daniel 11 presents a similar issue. Its correspondence with events leading to Antiochus IV is remarkable, but saying that this necessarily proves second-century composition depends partly on assuming that genuine predictive prophecy cannot account for such accuracy. If Daniel contains genuine revelation, then the very accuracy used to argue for late composition can instead be understood as evidence of prophecy.

So we agree that these issues should be examined at the level of the actual evidence. WLC should not avoid difficult questions by merely repeating a conclusion. But the same standard applies in the other direction. A list of possible alternatives does not prove that the biblical interpretation was manufactured. The real question is which interpretation best explains the biblical text, historical setting, language, and chronology together.

For WLC, that question ultimately comes down to Scripture. We are willing to examine historical and linguistic evidence, including evidence that may challenge our preferred interpretation. But we will not begin by assuming that Daniel could not contain genuine prophecy. Without that assumption, the second-century interpretation is not automatically the only reasonable explanation for Daniel’s remarkable correspondence with later events. We believe there remains a strong biblical case for understanding Daniel 9 as a prophecy concerning the Messiah Yahushua rather than merely a retrospective description of the Maccabean crisis.
