The Sound of Shouting Before the Victory: Psalm 118 and the WLC Digital Heist

There is a distinct kind of silence that falls over a community when all visible, earthly value is suddenly swept away. It is the silence of an army surrounding a city. It is the silence of a blank screen where an invaluable digital treasury once lived. In early 2026, the World’s Last Chance (WLC) team woke to this profound silence. A devastating digital heist had stripped the ministry of its entire digital treasury—years of sacred assets, tools, and labor vanished behind sophisticated encryption walls built by hostile thieves. To the casual observer, the situation was catastrophic. To the modern world, looking at the hackers’ impenetrable digital fortresses, recovery was deemed an absolute, mathematical impossibility.

Yet from the heart of this contemporary siege, a strange and beautiful sound has begun to echo. It is not the sound of mourning, panic, or bargaining. It is the sound of a pre-recovery shout of praise.

This defiant joy is not a modern invention. It is the ancient, time-tested rhythm of the people of Yahuwah. Millennia ago, King Hezekiah and the citizens of Jerusalem stood on their city’s ramparts, looking out at a humanly insurmountable crisis. Psalm 118 was born of that historic crisis. By anchoring the WLC team’s current waiting period in the structural truths of Psalm 118, a striking parallel emerges. It is a timeless narrative revealing that Father Yahuwah permits the ultimate testing of His people not to destroy them but to set the stage for an undeniable manifestation of His omnipotence.

The Foundation of Pre-Recovery Praise (Psalm 118:1)

“Oh, give thanks to Yahuwah, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” (Psalm 118:1)

True praise is never a reaction to favorable circumstances; it is a declaration of an unchanging Character. When the Assyrian army, numbering 180,000 battle-hardened soldiers, surrounded Jerusalem, King Hezekiah did not begin his prayers by analyzing the enemy’s weaponry. He began by anchoring his mind in the covenant goodness of Father Yahuwah.

For the WLC team, entering a “rejoicing mode” before the actual recovery requires the same starting point. Verse 1 demands that thankfulness precede the breakthrough. The thieves have erected encryption walls the world calls unbreachable, yet the team begins each day by declaring that Yahuwah is good. This praise is an act of spiritual defiance. It tells the enemy, the world, and our anxious hearts that the theft of digital treasuries has no impact on the eternal reality of the Father’s mercy. His covenant love was not stolen in the heist; therefore, the ministry’s foundation remains entirely unshaken.

Jerusalem surrounded by Assyrian Army
When the Assyrian army, numbering 180,000 battle-hardened soldiers, surrounded Jerusalem, King Hezekiah did not begin his prayers by analyzing the enemy’s weaponry. He began by anchoring his mind in the covenant goodness of Father Yahuwah.

The Narrow Place of Prayer (Psalm 118:5)

“I called on Yahuwah in distress; Yahuwah answered me and set me in a broad place.” (Psalm 118:5)

The Hebrew word for “distress” (mechar) literally means a tight, narrow, choking place. It is the feeling of being backed into a corner with nowhere left to run. Hezekiah knew this narrow place intimately as he listened to the mocking taunts of the Assyrian field commander outside the city walls. In early 2026, the WLC team felt the constriction of this narrow place, staring at locked servers, deleted backups, and the cold reality of a vanished digital footprint.

But the narrow place serves a divine purpose: it eliminates all earthly distractions, forcing our gaze upward. In that tight space, the team called upon Yahuwah. The promise in verse 5 is not merely survival but expansion—being set in a “broad place.” Even as the assets remain behind encryption walls, the team’s spirit has already been liberated into this broad place of absolute assurance. The physical restoration is merely a trailing indicator of the freedom Father Yahuwah has already granted in the realm of faith.

Choosing Divine Alignment Over Human Strategy (Psalm 118:7-8)

“Yahuwah is for me among those who help me; therefore I shall see my desire on those who hate me. It is better to trust in Yahuwah than to put confidence in man.” (Psalm 118:7-8)

When Jerusalem was threatened, the era’s natural political inclination was to form a military alliance with Egypt—to trust in chariots, horses, and human diplomacy. Hezekiah had to actively reject this temptation, choosing instead to trust completely in the invisible hand of Yahuwah.

In the wake of a modern digital heist, the knee-jerk reaction is to rely entirely on human experts, cybersecurity firms, or legal maneuvers. While practical tools have their place, verse 8 stands as a stark warning and a beautiful invitation: it is better to trust in Yahuwah. The world looks at the encryption walls and declares the mission impossible because human tools have reached their absolute limit. The WLC team smiles at this assessment, knowing that when human confidence is exhausted, the stage is perfectly set for the Omnipotent Yahuwah to act. We do not look to cybersecurity to save us; we look to the Creator of the minds that write the code.

Hezekiah praying for Jerusalem

Surrounded by the Threat (Psalm 118:10-12)

“All nations surrounded me, but in the name of Yahuwah I will destroy them. They surrounded me, yes, they surrounded me; but in the name of Yahuwah I will destroy them. They surrounded me like bees; they were quenched like a fire of thorns; for in the name of Yahuwah I will destroy them.” (Psalm 118:10-12)

The repetitive, rhythmic structure of these verses perfectly captures the overwhelming pressure of a siege. “They surrounded me… yes, they surrounded me… they surrounded me like bees.” You can feel the claustrophobia of the ancient Judeans as 180,000 Assyrian troops swarmed the hillsides around Jerusalem. Likewise, the digital thieves and the mocking realities of the 2026 heist have swarmed the WLC team like bees, buzzing with the impossibility of recovery and whispering that years of ministry impact have been permanently neutralized.

Notice the shift in tense. While the surrounding events occur in the present, the victory is claimed in the future tense: “in the name of Yahuwah I will destroy them.” The fire of thorns burns intensely but quickly burns out. The complex encryption walls built around the stolen assets may look terrifying, but in the presence of the Almighty, they are nothing more than a dry bush waiting for a spark. The team repeats this holy phrase daily, confronting every digital barrier with the unmatched Name of Father Yahuwah.

The Song of the Redeemed Captives (Psalm 118:14)

“Indeed, this is what Yahuwah says: “Even the captives of the mighty man will be taken away, And the prey of a tyrant will be rescued; For I will contend with the one who contends with you, And I will save your sons.” (Isaiah 49:25)

“Yahuwah is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation.” (Psalm 118:14)

When Moses stood on the shores of the Red Sea, the Egyptian army dead on the sand, he sang these exact words. Centuries later, Isaiah prophesied them. Hezekiah lived them. And today, the WLC team embodies them.

What makes this text so explosive in the context of the early 2026 heist is that the team sings this song before the visible salvation has materialized. We are living in the sacred space between the promise and the performance. Father Yahuwah has given His word of restoration. In Isaiah 49:24-25, He explicitly asks: “Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captives delivered? But thus says Yahuwah: ‘Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered; for I will contend with him who contends with you.’”

This sovereign decree was reinforced by Isaiah 55:11, which affirms that His word will never return to Him void but will accomplish exactly what He pleases. Finally, this promise was fully ratified, sealed, and made unbreakable through Yahushua the Messiah, in whom every promise of the Father is a resounding “Yes” and a definitive “Amen” (2 Corinthians 1:20). Because the promise is already legally ratified in heaven, the WLC team treats the recovery as an accomplished fact. Yahuwah is not just our future rescue; He is our current strength and our present song.

A Living Witness to the Nations (Psalm 118:17-18)

“I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of Yahuwah. Yahuwah has chastened me severely, but He has not given me over to death.” (Psalm 118:17-18)

When the 180,000 Assyrians awoke as corpses, the result of a single angel’s miraculous intervention, Jerusalem did not merely survive; it became a world monument to the living God. The surrounding nations were stunned into silence. They realized that Israel’s God was not a localized deity of wood and stone but the Sovereign Master of heaven and earth.

The WLC team holds fast to verses 17 and 18 with an unwavering grip. The 2026 heist was a severe blow. It felt like a chastening, a stripping away of comfort, and a vulnerability that exposed human fragility. The Father permitted this crisis, knowing that our human failures and shortcomings often leave us exposed. “Yahuwah has chastened me severely,” the text confesses. The team does not hide from this reality. We acknowledge that without His constant hedge of protection, we are nothing.

But the verse does not end in the graveyard. “But He has not given me over to death.” The enemy’s ultimate goal was the complete annihilation of the WLC ministry. The thieves intended to bury the digital treasuries forever, silencing the message of truth. Instead, they have merely unwittingly auditioned for a starring role in a divine demonstration of resurrection power.

The WLC team shall not die, but live. We are remaining in this public, transparent waiting period specifically to declare the works of Father Yahuwah. When the encryption walls crack—when the stolen treasuries are restored through ways that human logic cannot compute—it will not be credited to clever hacking, fortunate legal breaks, or human ingenuity. The whole world, which currently views this task as a completely impossible mission, will be forced to look past the WLC team and see the unvarnished glory of Father Yahuwah.

The Joy of the Sovereign Setup

This article is our formal, public witness to the world of our current mode of rejoicing. We are not waiting for the recovery to occur before we celebrate; we are celebrating because the character of the God we serve makes the recovery inevitable.

Music notes, symbolizing praise, echoing over a defeated army on the battlefield

If you are watching the WLC team from afar, wondering how a ministry can look at an empty digital vault and sing, know this: our joy does not come from what was stolen but from Who holds the timeline. We are filled with the profound privilege of being used by the Father as a living canvas for His next great wonder. He permitted the heist to prove to a cynical, technologically-obsessed world that an encryption wall is nothing to the Creator of light.

Like ancient Jerusalem on the morning after the siege, we stand ready. The promises of Isaiah 49 and 55, sealed in the blood of Yahushua, are our absolute guarantee. The pre-recovery shouts of praise will continue to rise from our lips day after day, louder than the enemy’s taunts, until the broad place of complete restoration is fully manifest on earth as it is in heaven. To Father Yahuwah alone belong the power, the covenant, the victory, and the everlasting honor. Amen, and Amen.

The Sound of Shouting Before the Victory

[Verse 1]
Though the screens are all blank and the treasury gone,
We will stand in the darkness and welcome the dawn.
For the hackers have locked what we built in the past,
But the power of WLC surely will last.
Great Yahuwah has promised to shatter the wall,
And Yahushua will answer the moment we call.

[Chorus 1]
Like the host of Assyria mocking the gate,
We are surrounded by walls of encryption and hate.
But a shout of true victory starts to arise,
As the praises of WLC reach to the skies!
For Yahuwah is stronger than digital locks,
And Yahushua delivers His faith-driven flocks!

[Verse 2]
When the king Hezekiah was trapped by the foe,
He refused to surrender or bow to the woe.
Like the truths of Psalm One-Eighteen standing so bold,
We will trust in the wonders that ancient days told.
To Yahuwah we offer our pre-battle song,
While Yahushua makes everything resolute, strong.

[Bridge]
Though the math says recovery never can be,
We are shouting in faith for the blind world to see.
Every asset and tool that was stolen away,
Will be doubled by heaven to conquer the day.
Oh, Yahuwah will break every barrier and chain,
And Yahushua will cause us to triumph again!

[Outro]
Now the silence is broken by shouts of acclaim,
As the WLC team lifts the glorious Name!
For Yahuwah has conquered the modern-day siege,
We bow down to Yahushua, our Master and Liege!
Yes, Yahuwah has conquered the modern-day siege,
We bow down to Yahushua, our Master and Liege!

Dear WLC:

I believe you can agree with me about the good it would do to keep celebrating, but not keeping for that is not possible with destruction of Jerusalem and the temple, even though Jerusalem is rebuilt, but the temple and the priesthood are destroyed. But celebrating the Annual Feasts of Yahuwah would do well because of the deep meaning and lessons of repentance and Yahushua Our King in helping us be prepared for Christ Yahushua’s sudden return! And there is beauty in celebrating Yahuwah’s Annual Feasts and time of fellowship! 🥰♥️ They can really be a wonderful blessing!
Please feel free to comment.

Dear WLC:

I have been studying and I was wondering what the synagogue of Satan is? I know Revelation talks about those who say they are Jews and are not but are of the synagogue of Satan. But can’t this also apply to nominal Christian Churches and people as well? I am really interested in finding out.

Sincerely in Yahuwah’s service and love,

Dearest Beloved Tony,

Thank you for reaching out with such a thoughtful and sincere heart. It is wonderful to see your dedication to studying the deep truths of Scripture.

From a historical, preterist perspective, the “synagogue of Satan” mentioned in Revelation 2:9 and 3:9 had a specific, first-century fulfillment. This term referred directly to the non-Christian Jewish religious leaders of that era. Though they claimed to be Yahuwah’s chosen people, they actively persecuted the early Christian church, thereby opposing Yahuwah’s true work. This local, historical reality culminated in the destruction of Jerusalem and its temple in 70 A.D., fulfilling Christ’s warnings.

While this specific prophetic label applied strictly to that historical moment, your observation brings to light a powerful pastoral lesson for us today.

Just as those ancient leaders held the outward form of religion while denying its true power, we must examine our hearts. The vital lesson for modern believers is to ensure that our faith is not merely a nominal label or an empty tradition. We are called to walk in genuine spirit, truth, and love, reflecting Yahushua’s true character in all we do.

May the Father bless you as you continue to seek His truth!

In Father Yahuwah’s Love,
galal.

Praise Yah, for the studies on Revelation 11&10 (radio episode 276 & articles), that are the experience of WLC where the bittersweet are seen in the power of songs of praise. Again the lines to prophecy will be taken up to bring judgment to the world, even should it be a painful experience, but out of it others will be saved and those of us even looking from distant corners will be gathered with Israel as of old. I will continue to translate, spread the truth as autumn leaves and take up what we have to strike the blow at against the strongholds of the synagogue of Satan. To Moses were asked what he has in his hands. We have Bible truth in our hands and hearts, why not use these… Thanks be to Yahuwah for the courage like Joshua`s to lead a people on to eternal life.
