The digital heist that struck the WLC ministry in early 2026 has become far more than a story about stolen digital assets. From the beginning, the WLC team came to see this event through the lens of Scripture and the sovereignty of Father Yahuwah. We believe that nothing could have happened within this closed system without His knowledge and permission. Father Yahuwah sits above the firmament, sees all that takes place beneath it, and takes note of everything that happens, including the actions of both the righteous and the wicked.

This does not mean that Father Yahuwah approves of evil. Scripture makes a clear distinction between what He permits and what He commands. Those who steal remain responsible for their actions. Yet Scripture repeatedly demonstrates that the Father can permit evil for a season while preparing to bring a far greater good from it.

That understanding has profoundly changed the way WLC views the heist.

At the beginning, our natural desire was for the stolen assets to be recovered as quickly as possible. We wanted the injustice corrected and the ministry’s resources restored so they could again be used for the purposes for which they had been entrusted to us.

But as time passed, another realization emerged.

Perhaps the delay itself was part of the Father’s purpose.

Perhaps He had permitted the event because there were things He wanted to accomplish in the hearts of the WLC team, things that could not have been accomplished if the assets had been returned immediately.

And perhaps, when the story finally reaches its conclusion, the significance of what Father Yahuwah has done will be far greater than the recovery of digital assets.

The Father Can Stop Evil Before It Happens

Scripture shows that Father Yahuwah can permit human beings to act according to their own wicked intentions while simultaneously having purposes of His own that extend far beyond what they intended.

One reason the WLC team became convinced early in this ordeal that the heist could not have occurred without the Father’s sovereign permission is the many biblical accounts demonstrating His ability to prevent evil before it occurs.

The account of Sarah and King Abimelech is a striking example.

In Genesis 20, Abimelech took Sarah into his household, believing that she was Abraham’s sister. Yet Father Yahuwah intervened and warned Abimelech in a dream before he touched her. The Father was fully capable of preventing the evil from occurring.

This raises an important biblical distinction.

When evil occurs, it does not follow that the Father approved of that evil. Rather, Scripture shows that He can permit human beings to act according to their own wicked intentions while simultaneously having purposes of His own that extend far beyond what they intended.

Joseph expressed this principle beautifully when he told his brothers:

“But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but Yahuwah meant it unto good.” — Genesis 50:20

The brothers intended evil.

The Father brought good from it.

That is the framework through which WLC has increasingly come to understand the digital heist.

We do not celebrate the theft.

We do not call evil good.

We do not minimize the harm caused by the loss of ministry resources.

But we can rejoice in the knowledge that Father Yahuwah is capable of taking even this evil event and using it for purposes that ultimately bring glory to His name.

Why WLC Can Thank Father Yahuwah for the Delay

The natural response to a loss is to pray for immediate restoration.

There is nothing wrong with that prayer.

But there is another prayer that can arise from deeper faith:

“Father Yahuwah, accomplish everything You desire through this experience before You restore what was stolen.”

That has increasingly become the WLC team’s prayer.

The longer the restoration is delayed, the more time there is for spiritual transformation.

The delay has forced us to examine our dependence upon human resources.

It has deepened our prayers.

It has reminded us that the ministry ultimately belongs to Father Yahuwah.

It has caused us to think more carefully about stewardship.

It has strengthened our faith.

And it has provided an opportunity to document what is happening so that the entire story can be preserved for future generations.

This is why WLC can now boldly thank Father Yahuwah for the delay.

We are not thanking Him for the theft.

We are thanking Him for what He is accomplishing through the waiting.

The Attempt to Recover the Assets

Following the heist, attempts were made to obtain assistance from law firms specializing in digital and cryptocurrency-related crimes. Those attempts were unsuccessful. Of the firms approached, the circumstances surrounding the stolen assets made recovery impossible and thus not worth their time. WLC subsequently sought guidance on the cryptocurrency theft from the specialized federal authorities responsible for cryptocurrency-related crimes.

During meetings with the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Virtual Assets Unit (VAU), WLC was advised to contact the anonymous thief or thieves directly via the blockchain.

It is important to clarify that this guidance was communicated orally, rather than in a written FBI document. WLC is recording the substance of that oral guidance here because we consider it an important part of the heist’s historical record.

The recommendation was to send a message to the cryptocurrency addresses associated with the thief or thieves, using a blockchain transaction-messaging mechanism that embeds a message in transaction data and preserves it on the public ledger. On blockchains that support it, such a mechanism may be associated with OP_RETURN or a comparable transaction data field.

The FBI guidance led to an extraordinary step. WLC was not merely sending a conventional letter or email to an unknown criminal. The appeal was being transmitted through the blockchain and recorded on the public ledger.

The blockchain itself therefore became part of the historical record.

The Message Sent to the Thief

Following the oral guidance received from the FBI’s Virtual Assets Unit, WLC sent the following message to the thief’s cryptocurrency addresses:

“We both know you’ll never be able to clean this much funds. There’s a target on your back. You will be tracked & found. Instead, send 90% back, and we officially acknowledge your right to keep 10% as a fee for crypto education. If you return 90% within 48 hours, we will consider this matter settled. Understand: these funds were designated for a ministry serving the poor – food, shelter, & aid. Real families are being harmed every day this money is withheld. You still have the opportunity to end this now. For we know Him who said, VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY says the Lord. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living GOD. (Heb. 10:30-31).”

The offer was extraordinary.

WLC was prepared to forgo 10 percent of the stolen assets if 90 percent were returned within 48 hours.

The thief did not accept the offer.

The 90 percent was not returned.

From a purely human perspective, this appeared to be another disappointment.

But WLC now sees the unanswered appeal differently.

The 48-hour window closed.

The assets remained missing.

And the waiting continued.

Why We Are Thankful the 90 Percent Was Not Returned

Although WLC would gladly have received the funds, we can now thank Father Yahuwah that He did not allow the story to end after 48 hours. The delay has become part of the testimony.

This may be one of the most difficult parts of the story for people to understand.

Why would WLC be thankful that the thief did not return 90 percent of the stolen assets, even though such a return would have immediately benefited the ministry?

Because the WLC team believes that Father Yahuwah was accomplishing something more important than an immediate financial recovery.

Had the thief returned 90 percent of the funds within 48 hours, the story might have ended there.

The ministry would have recovered most of the assets.

The human intervention that led to the message would naturally have appeared to be the decisive factor.

The spiritual lessons that have emerged during the subsequent months might never have developed.

The articles might never have been written.

The songs of praise might never have been composed.

The WLC team might never have experienced the spiritual awakening that has emerged during this period of waiting.

And people around the world would not have had the opportunity to watch an extended testimony unfold.

Therefore, although WLC would gladly have received the funds, we can now thank Father Yahuwah that He did not allow the story to end after 48 hours.

The delay has become part of the testimony.

Isaiah 49: The Promise of Deliverance

This is where Isaiah 49:24–26 becomes especially significant.

Isaiah asks:

“Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?”

Humanly speaking, recovering something from a powerful adversary can appear impossible.

But Father Yahuwah answers:

“But thus saith Yahuwah, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered.”

Then comes the promise:

“For I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.”

And the passage concludes with a declaration of divine purpose:

“And all flesh shall know that I Yahuwah am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.”

This is crucial.

The ultimate purpose of the deliverance is not simply that the captive is freed.

It is that all flesh shall know who delivered him.

That is exactly what WLC hopes will happen with this story.

When Father Yahuwah ultimately restores what was stolen, the testimony will not simply be that cryptocurrency was recovered.

The testimony will be that the Father heard the prayers of His people, worked through an apparently impossible situation, and acted according to His own perfect timing.

Therefore Yahuwah will wait, that He may be gracious to you; And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For Yahuwah is a God of justice; Blessed are all those who wait for Him. (Isaiah 30:18)

Isaiah 30:18 — The Blessing of Waiting

Isaiah 30:18 gives us another key to understanding this period:

“Therefore will Yahuwah wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you.”

Then Isaiah says:

“Blessed are all they that wait for him.”

These words transform our understanding of delay.

Waiting does not mean that the Father is inactive.

Waiting does not mean that He has forgotten.

Waiting does not mean that He has abandoned His people.

Sometimes the Father waits because something greater is being accomplished during the waiting.

He may be preparing the people before changing the circumstances.

He may be strengthening faith before revealing the answer.

He may be preparing a testimony before bringing deliverance.

And He may be arranging circumstances that are invisible to us.

This is why the WLC team increasingly sees the delay itself as a blessing.

The Father is not merely delaying an answer.

He may be preparing the answer.

The Spiritual Benefits of Waiting

The Scriptures repeatedly reveal that waiting produces qualities that immediate deliverance cannot produce.

Waiting develops patience.

Waiting teaches dependence.

Waiting exposes our tendency to trust visible circumstances rather than the Father’s invisible purposes.

Waiting teaches us to pray without demanding that the answer come according to our timetable.

Waiting can also purify motives.

At the beginning of the heist, the natural focus was understandably on recovering the stolen assets. But prolonged waiting has broadened the focus.

The question is no longer simply, “When will the assets come back?”

The deeper question is:

“What is Father Yahuwah accomplishing while they remain away?”

That is a much more profound question.

Perhaps the Father is preparing the WLC team for greater usefulness.

Perhaps He is awakening believers who are watching.

Perhaps He is teaching people that faith does not depend upon immediate answers.

Perhaps He is preparing a testimony that will reach people who would never have listened to WLC under ordinary circumstances.

Perhaps He is preparing a demonstration of His providence that will be understood only after the entire story has unfolded.

We cannot see all of these things now.

But that is precisely what faith requires.

The Digital Heist as a Future Memorial

The Israelites were commanded to remember the great things Father Yahuwah had done for them.

The crossing of the Red Sea became one of the defining memorials of Israel’s history.

The event was never supposed to disappear into the past.

It was to be remembered.

It was to be proclaimed.

It was to remind future generations that the Father could accomplish what human beings could not.

WLC believes that the digital heist should likewise be preserved as a historical testimony.

That is why we are documenting this story now, while the assets remain stolen.

We are not waiting until the conclusion before recording what happened.

We are documenting the circumstances, the prayers, the attempts at recovery, the oral FBI guidance, the blockchain message, the biblical understanding of the event, the spiritual lessons, and the transformation taking place within the WLC team.

We are doing so through articles.

We are doing so through songs of praise.

We are doing so through public testimony.

And we intend for this record to remain available so that, if and when the stolen assets are restored, people will be able to examine the entire history.

The testimony will have been recorded before the outcome was known.

Why This Could Become Like the Red Sea

WLC believes that when Father Yahuwah restores the stolen assets in His own time and in a manner that makes His providence evident, the significance could extend far beyond the ministry.

The Red Sea was not merely a geographical obstacle.

It became a testimony to the power of the Father.

Likewise, the digital heist is not merely a financial loss.

It has become an opportunity to witness what happens when Father Yahuwah’s people are forced to wait.

When the assets are eventually restored, the recovery itself will be only one part of the story.

The greater story will include everything that happened while they were gone.

The prayers.

The waiting.

The spiritual growth.

The public documentation.

The songs.

The testimonies.

The unsuccessful human recovery attempts.

The oral guidance from the FBI’s VAU.

The blockchain message.

The unanswered 48-hour offer.

The continued trust in Isaiah 49.

And the eventual outcome.

That is why WLC believes the event should be immortalized.

The greatest temptation during a prolonged trial is to measure the Father’s faithfulness by how quickly He changes our circumstances.

But Scripture teaches something deeper.

Faithfulness is not measured by speed.

It is measured by the certainty that the Father will accomplish His purposes.

Isaiah 30:18 tells us that those who wait for Him are blessed.

Isaiah 49:24–26 reminds us that even what appears to be held by the mighty will ultimately be delivered by the hand of Father Yahuwah.

Therefore, WLC will continue to wait.

We will continue to pray.

We will continue to document.

We will continue to praise.

And we will continue to believe that the Father’s timing is perfect.

We can even thank Him for the delay, because it has already produced fruit that an immediate recovery could never have.

The longer the story continues, the more opportunity there is for the WLC team to be transformed.

The more opportunity there is for believers to witness the power of patient faith.

And the more complete the testimony will become when the Father eventually reverses the heist.

A Record for Generations to Come

WLC does not know exactly when or how Father Yahuwah will restore the stolen assets.

But we know what Scripture teaches about His character.

He sees.

He knows.

He remembers.

He is not limited by human circumstances.

And He brings good from what wicked people intend for evil.

That is why we will not allow this event to be lost to history as merely another cryptocurrency theft.

The longer the story continues, the more opportunity there is for the WLC team to be transformed. The more opportunity there is for believers to witness the power of patient faith. And the more complete the testimony will become when the Father eventually reverses the heist. MAY HIS HOLY NAME BE PRAISED FOREVER!

Then people will be able to look back and see that the testimony was being written while the outcome was still unknown.

Perhaps that is one of the reasons Father Yahuwah permitted the delay.

Perhaps He is preparing something that requires time.

Perhaps He is preparing the WLC team.

Perhaps He is preparing the audience.

Perhaps He is preparing a testimony.

And perhaps the greatest miracle will not merely be the return of digital assets.

Perhaps it will be the awakening that follows when people see that the mighty hand of Father Yahuwah is not confined to the pages of ancient history.

The Red Sea was once an impossible barrier.

Yet Father Yahuwah opened a way through it.

Today, the stolen assets appear to be beyond the reach of the WLC ministry.

Yet Isaiah asks:

“Shall the prey be taken from the mighty?”

Father Yahuwah answers that even the prey of the terrible shall be delivered.

Therefore we wait.

And while we wait, we praise.

We do not know the day of restoration.

But we know the One upon whom we wait.

And Isaiah gives us the final encouragement:

“Blessed are all they that wait for him.”

So WLC will continue to wait on Sovereign Father Yahuwah.

For the Red Sea was not remembered merely because Israel escaped.

It was remembered because Father Yahuwah made a way where there appeared to be no way.
