Why am I not able to access the data for more than one saved location when using the App offline?

Question: Why am I not able to access the data for more than one saved location when using the App offline?

Answer: When using the Luni-Solar Calendar Application offline, you will only be able to retrieve the information for ONE location (the last saved location you were viewing before disconnecting from the internet) because that information is cached on your computer.  If you try to access data for any other location, you will receive an API Key error because the application is unable to retrieve the map when offline, and consequently is unable to return the requested information.

It is worth noting that you can print the calendar data for any location many years in advance or save the calendar data to a PDF file.

To Save to PDF:

  1. Select your location on the Calendar Application.
  2. Click Print in the upper-right hand corner.
  3. Choose the number of months that you would like to print (up to 99 at a time).
  4. Click Print.
  5. Choose Adobe PDF* as the "Name" of your desired printer.
  6. Then, simply name the file, select a destination, and click Save.
Saving to a PDF will allow you to view the data when working offline.
