The Millennium reveals Yahuwah’s love for the lost!

Scripture reveals what happens to the lost during the millennium following the Saviour’s return . . . and it reveals the depth of the Father’s love.

Satan knows that love awakens love. Therefore, his most effective way to separate sinners from their Creator is to make them fear Him.

The truth of what happens to sinners is a profound, beautiful truth that reveals, as never before, the depth of Yahuwah’s infinite love.

What happens next?

When Yahushua returns, all who have died trusting in the merits of the Saviour will be resurrected, while the living righteous will be changed “in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet.” (1 Corinthians 15:52, NKJV)

The question, then, is: What happens to the lost? Were they destroyed at the return of Christ?

The truth is as beautiful as it is surprising: while the saints live and reign with Christ for a thousand years, the lost have one final chance to repent.

If this sounds like heresy, keep reading, because this is proven in Scripture.

Behold what manner of love …

The Old Testament prophets had a unique understanding of Yahuwah’s character. While their prophecies often dealt with the punishment awaiting the rebellious, they also had a clear understanding of divine love for sinners. Jeremiah declared:

For Yahuwah will not cast off forever.
Though He causes grief,
Yet He will show compassion
According to the multitude of His mercies.
For He does not afflict willingly,
Nor grieve the children of men
. (See Lamentations 3:31-33.)

Yahushua explained the Father’s attitude toward sinners in the parable of the lost sheep, concluding: “I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.” (Luke 15:7, NKJV)

Through Isaiah, Yahuwah declared:

I was sought by those who did not ask for Me;
I was found by those who did not seek Me.
I said, “Here I am, here I am,”
To a nation that was not called by My name.
I have stretched out My hands all day long to a rebellious people,
Who walk in a way that is not good,
According to their own thoughts. (Isaiah 65:1-2, NKJV)

Yahuwah longs for as many to be saved as possible. Before the final execution of justice, at the end of the millennium, He will provide one final chance for sinners to be saved.

Satan bound 1,000 years

Sinning knowingly is worse than sinning from being deceived. This is why, although Eve sinned first, Adam’s sin was the greater. Eve was deceived. Adam sinned knowingly.

Yahuwah understands the magnitude of Satan’s deceptions and He knows there are some who would repent if their minds could see the truth. At the start of the millennium, He binds Satan:

Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while. (Revelation 20:1-3, NKJV)

The transformed saints are forever freed from Satan’s delusions. They have allowed Yahuwah to write His law in their hearts and they perfectly reflect the divine image. The only people who could be deceived are those who have heretofore been prevented from knowing and accepting the truth. The millennium gives these precious souls a final chance to accept salvation.

Isaiah explains the destruction that occurs during the seventh plague, adding:

Therefore the curse has devoured the earth,
And those who dwell in it are desolate.
Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned,
And few men are left. (Isaiah 24:6, NKJV)

Few is not the same as none. John describes the righteous as “a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues.” (Revelation 7:9, NKJV) Clearly, the “few” mentioned in Isaiah can only refer to people who have not yet made a final decision.

One final chance

Zechariah 14 contains an amazing prophecy showing the efforts of Yahuwah even during the millennium, to give these souls one final chance.

And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, Yahuwah of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, Yahuwah of hosts, on them there will be no rain. If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which Yahuwah strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. This shall be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. (Zechariah 14:16-19)

With Satan’s power to deceive bound, some of these lost souls will repent, accept salvation, and in gratitude, go to worship Yahuwah every year on the Feast of Tabernacles. Those who obstinately refuse to go, will find that Yahuwah withholds blessings that are available only to the obedient.

The millennium of peace is Yah’s final attempt to reach the lost. He longs to save every soul ever born. While many will remain obstinate and rebellious, there will be a precious few who, freed from Satan’s influence, will see the love of Yahuwah and accept salvation. When one is loved to that extent, who can help but love in return?

“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of Yahuwah.” (See 1 John 3:1.)
