Come Out of Her, My People! | Part 1

Heaven's Final Invitation

"Get in here and get a jacket on or I'll knock your head off!"

Open mouthed, I gaped at my friend's father.  I was scared.  I had never heard a parent speak that way to a child before.  My friend jumped up, ran inside to get a jacket on, and came back to play as though nothing had happened.  I could not believe how calmly he took it.

I had never heard my mother raise her voice.  She trained her children to obey her, so there was never any need for her to raise her voice.  Until one day . . . .

Living in the country was the best place in the world to grow up.  There were so many fun things to do!  So many interesting places to explore!  My brother and I felt sorry for our friends who had to live in town.

Merrily skipping along the dirt road that led from the house to the Big Barn, I was not watching where I was going when all of a sudden I heard a sound I had never heard before.  A shriek - from my mother.

Instant obedience brought me skidding to a halt.  Stretched across the road ahead of me, right where my dancing feet would have landed on it, stretched arattlesnake rattlesnake a meter long.

My mother had screamed at me, but she had saved me.  It did not matter that I had never heard that tone of voice from her before.  I heard both fear and love for me in her voice.  She had saved me because she loved me, and I loved her more than ever before.

When Love sees danger, Love warns.  Love yells.  Love screams.  Love does whatever is necessary to save.

Today, the world is on the verge of an immense crisis.  Thinking men and women of every nation are watching the developments within and between countries.  They know that something portentous is about to take place.  The climax of all time is soon to break with unremitting violence upon the world.

In this hour of extreme danger, the Heavenly Father is sending an urgent call to His children on earth.  As with any earthly parent, the greater the danger, the stronger and more loudly the Heavenly Father calls.  His Word assures: "Surely . . . [Adonai Yahuwah] will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets."  (Amos 3:7, KJV)

The final invitation of mercy ever to be given mankind is preserved in the last book of the Bible.  This is earth's final warning, the world's last chance.  There will never be another given so it is of the utmost importance that everyone living hear and give heed to this solemn warning.

And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, . . . And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen . . . Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.  For her sins have reached unto heaven, and . . . [Elohim] hath remembered her iniquities.  Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. (Revelation 18:1, 2, 4-6, KJV)

"Babylon" is a symbol frequently used in Scripture.  Many different interpretations of this symbol have been offered.  Some believe that Babylon is the Roman Catholic Church.  Others believe it is the United Nations while still others believe that it is the United States.

Babylon is all of these and much more.  In the Bible, "Babylon" is a symbol for confusion, because it was at the Tower of Babel that Yahuwah confounded the languages of the rebellious builders.  In ancient Akkadian, the word Babylon (BAB.ILI) meant "Gateway of the gods."

Babylon is much larger than a single entity.  Babylon is "confusion" and it is the "Gateway of the gods."  Babylon is a symbol of Satan's entire infrastructure of delusion and deceit.  It encompasses all error and all religious bodies that are entwined with any degree of error.

Heaven's warning to come out of Babylon is fraught with eternal consequences.  In the Biblical record, the warning comes Babylon falls, just before the destruction of the entire world in the seven last plagues.  All who would be sheltered in that day of wrath must be under the specific protection of the Most High.  Only those who have obeyed the call to come out of Babylon will be safe during that time.

All who heed the warning will be protected
by Yahuwah.

Satan knows that all who heed the warning will be miraculously preserved and eternally safe from his deceptions.  Therefore, his goal is to keep people from obeying the command to leave Babylon.  He has done this through a masterful deception that is ensnaring multitudes of sincere Christians.

The devil's ultimate delusion is: "The call to leave Babylon does not apply to me because I am not in Babylon!"

By leading people to reject the warning as not applicable to them, Satan has blinded masses who otherwise might have been saved.

There are many different reasons for ignoring Heaven's merciful warning.  Satan tailors excuses for every individual life and each set of circumstances.  For some, the call to leave Babylon is rejected because they are Protestant.  They are not Catholic, so they believe the message cannot apply to them.

For others, the warning is rejected because they worship on Saturday.  The fact that they do not worship on Sunday provides satisfactory proof to them that they cannot be in Babylon.  Therefore, the message is not for them.

Satan's delusion is so successful because it rests on spiritual pride.  All who reject the call, insist that it cannot apply to them because they are not in Babylon.  Each one possesses some truth which he thinks sets him apart as different from everyone else.  The truth he believes makes him feel spiritually superior.  Therefore, the message does not apply to him.

man standing against wall
Many people reject the call to flee Babylon because they do not believe they are in Babylon.

This is deep spiritual blindness and is one of Satan's most successful, end-time delusions.  The final generation has been blessed with a wealth of spiritual truth and understanding - far exceeding that given any preceding generation.  In desperation, Satan has twisted this tremendous blessing by leading minds to assume that with all the truth they already believe, there is no further truth necessary for salvation.  Thus, by default, any advanced light is automatically rejected as wrong.

Yahuwah's great heart of love foresaw this danger awaiting the final generation.  Scripture warns that spiritual pride and it's resultant blindness is the greatest danger facing the last generation.

And to the angel of the ekklesia of the Laodiceans write . . . I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot.  I could wish you were cold or hot.  So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of My mouth.   Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked.  (Revelation 3:14-17, NKJV)

The reason why we use Ekklesia and not church when referring to Yahuwah's faithful in WLC content is because the word "church" does not accurately convey the meaning of the original Greek, "Ekklesia." Throughout the New Testament, Ekklesia refers to the Called Out Ones. The word "church," which emphasizes a group, is therefore an erroneous translation and should never have been used. Christians are literally the Called Out Ones. The true followers of Yahushua are indeed the Called Out Ones from the organized denominations and religions of fallen Babylon. When the call to flee Babylon has been heard, none are to again return to Babylonian churches and forms of religion.

This is referred to as the "Laodicean Message."  The greater the truth one believes, the greater exists the danger of spiritual pride and its accompanying blindness.

People will even openly acknowledge that they are "Laodicean" . . . but because they have said the words, because they have verbally admitted to being "Laodicean" they believe the message no longer applies to them.  They take pride in the fact that they are humble enough to admit their "Laodicean condition" and use it as proof that the warning no longer applies to them.  Thus, they continue on in their spiritual blindness, in need of everything, but claiming to need nothing.

This is a deadly delusion and one of Satan's most successful ways to ensnare souls.  The only hope anyone has of breaking free of this deception which is so pleasing to the fallen nature, is to accept by faith that one is Laodicean because the true word of Yahuwah says so.  Only when the message is accepted by faith as honestly applying to you individually, can the divine cure be supplied.

I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.  (Revelation 3:18, NKJV)

The gold that has been refined in the fire is faith and love: faith works by love and purifies the soul.  The white garments are the righteousness of Yahushua, accepted by faith in His atoning merits.  The eye salve, accepted by faith, is spiritual discernment.  Only those who will accept the message by faith, will be in a position to accept the cure.  They are then prepared to accept by faith that the call to come out of Babylon applies to them as well.

The warning to leave Babylon is a message specifically for Yahuwah's people.  No denomination is exempt.

Laodiceans are very quick to apply the call to leave Babylon to others who do not hold to their individual, preferred set of beliefs.  This is the blindness of spiritual pride being displayed.  However, the call to flee Babylon goes to all of Yahuwah's people!  The divine invitation goes to those whom the Father tenderly refers to as "My people."

While all who heed the call will be graciously accepted, the message is specifically intended for Yahuwah's people!  No belief system is exempt.  No particular denomination is left out of the denunciation.  All who consider themselves to be Yahuwah's children should, therefore, pay special attention to this warning because it does apply to them, no matter how much truth they think they know.  Everyone whom Yahuwah calls "My people" are included in the call to come out of Babylon.

Are you one of Yahuwah's people?  You need to pay attention.  This message is for you.

The Old Testament expands on this warning for the last generation:

“Cry aloud, spare not; Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell My people their transgression, And the house of Jacob their sins.”  (Isaiah 58:1, NKJV, emphasis supplied.)

Again, it is those whom Yahuwah lovingly refers to as "My people" that are being warned of sinning.  And yet, the very next verse reveals that they are blind to their sin!

woman praying
Yahuwah is calling His faithful people to repent for a sin they do not even know
they are committing!
“Yet they seek Me daily, And delight to know My ways, As [though they were] a nation that did righteousness, And [as though they] did not forsake the ordinance of their . . . [Elohim].”  (Isaiah 58:2, NKJV)

This is not the rebellious worldling to whom the message is given.  The people who are being warned of their sin are the very ones who have morning devotions.  They seek Yahuwah daily.  They "delight" to know His ways.  As incredible as it may seem, Yahuwah is calling His people to repent for a sin of which they are ignorant.

The warning ends by revealing which ordinance has been forsaken and calling for a return to careful obedience.

"If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, From doing your pleasure on My holy day, And call the Sabbath a delight, The holy day of Yahuwah honorable, And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways, Nor finding your own pleasure, Nor speaking your own words, Then you shall delight yourself in Yahuwah . . . .”  (See Isaiah 58:13, NKJV)

Yahuwah promises that in the last days there would be a work of Sabbath reform carried out by the final generation:

“Those from among you shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell in.  (Isaiah 58:12, NKJV)

Babylon, as the "Gateway to the gods," involves counterfeit worship: worship of Lucifer, Yahuwah's arch-enemy.  Thus, the call to come out of Babylon involves the restoration of true worship.

The problem is, people who are fully immersed in Babylon do not know it and cannot see it.  The malaise of spiritual blindness leads them to take pride in the truths they already possess and refuse any advanced light as being wrong.  Thus they discount Heaven's final warning as not for them.

church congregation
Any degree of error keeps a person in Babylon.

Babylon includes all organized religions and denominations because all of today's denominations use a papal calendar that is based on a pagan calendar for determining when to worship: Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.  Regardless of how much truth a denomination can claim, or the validity of their own prophet, or the divine inspiration in their tradition, if they are entwined with any degree of error, they are in Babylon

Remember, the call to flee Babylon goes to Yahuwah's people.  As such, they are not willfully in error, but ignorantly in error.  Nevertheless, the error entwined in their belief system reveals that they are in Babylon.

What agreement has the temple of Yahuwah with idols? for you are the temple of the living Elohim; as Yahuwah has said, "I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their Elohim, and they shall be My people.  Therefore, come out from among them, and be separate," says Yahuwah, "and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and you shall be My sons and daughters," says the Almighty Elohim.  (See 2 Corinthians 6:16-18.)

Ninety percent truth with only 10% error, does not make the error any less wrong.  The truth possessed only makes the error clung to that much more deceptive.

Whether you are Roman Catholic or Orthodox; whether you are Seventh-day Adventist, Seventh Day Baptist or World Wide Church of God; whether you are Methodist, Baptist, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Nazarene, Episcopalian or anything else, if your denomination worships on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, you are in Babylon and the warning is to you.

Coming out of Babylon is a life-changing event.  Every area of your life will be impacted.

business man
When a person chooses to leave Babylon, every area of life is impacted.

Babylon is Satan's entire infrastructure of lies, delusions and worldly allurements.

Coming out of Babylon requires an entire break from the world and its attractions.  These worldly enticements differ from person to person.  For some, it is the trappings of worldly success: respect in their chosen profession; influence among their peers.  For others, it is the fellowship of their church family: the reputation they have gained as a sincere, true-hearted Christian, faithful to the denominational creed.

For others, the love of their home, cars, life goals, career opportunities, lifestyle, favorite escape, and the trappings of city life are ties which are not recognized as being firm anchors to Babylon.  For all, the opinions of others can be the strongest bond to Babylon.  This can be the hardest tie of all to surrender and say, "Not I, but Yahushua."

Relationships with those nearest and dearest are inevitably affected if they choose to remain in Babylon when you leave.  However, remaining behind will result in your loss of eternal life.  A true story graphically illustrates this fact:

Her husband was a hospitable man, so she had become used to the unexpected guest for dinner.  She had learned how to quickly addfruit the little touches that make an ordinary supper a guest supper.  The two men he had brought home the night before had not seemed all that unusual.  But then things got weird.

"You must leave town tonight," the visitors stated.  "This city is going to be destroyed."

Surely they were joking!  Who had ever heard of a city being destroyed out of the blue?  They were not at war.  Besides, their town was no worse than all the other cities around.  But the men were convincing.  Insistent, even.

Her husband hurried across town to warn their married children of the danger.  He returned alone.  Heartbroken.  Defeated.  No one had believed him.  All had returned to their comfortable beds, laughing at the gullibility of good ol' Pop.

She wavered.  Things were happening too quickly.  Surely, all of this was a mistake.  Why did they have to leave in the dead of night?  They could move, but it would take time to sell the house; it would take time to relocate; find another place, pack up, move their belongings.  It was impossible to just pick up and walk away.  It would require leaving everything!

The men became forcefully urgent.  Each one grabbed a hand; hers, her husband's, their two girls'.  Dragging them out of town, the men yelled, "Run for your life!  Hurry!  And don't look back."

Stunned, half-disbelieving, confused, they began to run.  Hurry!  Hurry!  Keep running!  Don't stop!  Don't look back!  Fear was the pursuer.

fireballAs Dawn began to color the eastern sky, a loud clap of thunder shattered the early morning stillness.  Balls of fire came pouring out of the sky, down onto her home, her town . . . her children!

The reaction was not planned.  Her children, her grandchildren were still there!  They had refused to come when their father warned them.  How could she leave them behind?

She stopped.  She turned.  She became a pillar of salt.  Her children were still in Sodom.  That was where her heart was, so Lot's wife died in the destruction that befell the cities of the plain, even though she was at a safe distance, in the country.  (See Genesis 19.)

Lot's wife was probably not an evil woman.  She was a mother.  She loved her children.  She looked back because she did not want to leave her children.  In answer to the persistent prayers of Abraham (see Genesis 18:17-33), Heaven had sent two angels to spare her life and the lives of all who would believe their message.  But love of her children more than love for her Saviour, led to her death with the destruction of those who had remained behind.  She was unworthy of the gracious salvation offered.

Adam fell when he loved his wife more than his Creator.  How many today are making the same decision?

girl being laughed at by small group
No one enjoys being gossiped about or laughed at.
To be separate is to be different.  Most people do not like being different.  It can be very uncomfortable, even embarrassing.  It is not pleasant to be misunderstood, gossiped about, laughed at.  Many will lose eternal life through fear of a sneer . . . or because their husbands or their children reject the call to leave Babylon . . . or because their pastors insist the call is not for them because they are not in Babylon.

Each individual will have a different combination of emotional ties and worldly attractions that compel them to remain in Babylon.  These bonds can exert immense pressure.  Satan will tempt all who hear the call to flee Babylon to rationalize it away as not applying to them individually.

Shortly before His betrayal in Gethsemane, Yahushua promised that He would send the Holy Spirit.

And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: . . . when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth . . . .  (John 16:8, 13, KJV)

The Holy Spirit will convict each individual of what "Babylon" means in his or her life.  He will convict you of what is binding you to Babylon.  It is of the utmost importance that the promptings of the Spirit of Yahuwah are obeyed immediately.  Only those who love their Maker more than anything else will be willing to surrender all, lift the cross of obedience, and follow their Saviour out of Babylon.

Mothers love their children "more than life itself."  But all most love their Maker and Saviour, not only more than life, but more than children, more than career, more than cherished dreams and personal goals, more than peer influence, reputation or even one's spouse.

Yahushua Himself clearly spelled out the cost of salvation:

He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me.  And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.  And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.  (Matthew 10:37, 38, KJV)

Heeding the call to leave Babylon requires acknowledgement of past spiritual blindness.  It is humbling.  Leaving Babylon requires a willingness to follow truth no matter what the cost.

Will you heed the warning?  If you do not have strong enough faith to stand alone, if you do not have enough love for truth, or the courage to separate from Babylon, ask for it!  Everything you need for salvation has been pledged to be made available upon your request.  "All things are possible to him who believes."  (Mark 9:23, NKJV)

Will you take up your cross and follow your Saviour?

Will you come out of Babylon?
