Yahuwah’s New Heaven & Earth is a Post-Millennium Event. Here is Why.
The quality of life, for the righteous and the sinners, during the Millennium will be an order of magnitude superior to our wildest imagination. To live in a world where the supreme authority over all the nations is not the corrupt UN or be subject to the whims of the hegemonic rule-based order of the US, instead in a world where the indisputable ultimate authority will be that of Yahushua is something that should whet the appetite of every citizen in the world. Many world leaders and entities will not welcome Yahushua when they see him on the clouds approaching earth, surrounded by heaven’s angels. They will attempt to prevent his return to earth by shooting all their ballistic missiles heavenwards, to no avail. The shooting down of the recent ‘alien balloons’ is perhaps a very preliminary practice for the actual event. Luke informs us of the fate of these evil resistors. Even though Satan and his fallen angels will be chained in the bottomless pit throughout Millennium, the sinners of the nations will still often require Yahushua’s iron rod to comply and behave.
Among the immediate benefits of Yahushua’s rule will be the end of all wars and the conversion of all the world’s military-industrial complexes into agricultural, industrial complexes. It is also likely that the curse of the earth will be partially removed, leading to sinners living much longer life spans. No pandemics, no WEF schemes, no corrupt politicians, no dictators, no discrimination, no injustice, no hunger, no thirst, civil strikes, no 1% elites owning 90% of the world’s riches, no earthquakes, no hurricanes, no labor exploitation, no LGBT propaganda, no open pedophiles, no wild animals, and the list goes on and on of the direct benefits of Yahushua’s rule. This is why every cell in our bodies yearns to live in the age to come, i.e., the Millennial Kingdom of Yahuwah’s Messiah.
Even with the above, the Millennial Age will be flawed. There will still be death in the camps of sinners, which entails pain, sorrow, and sadness amongst the righteous, losing loved ones. The persistent rebellious course of some sinners will constitute constant burden and pain for the righteous. As the faithful believers today yearn for the Millennial Age, the righteous, along with Yahushua, will be yearning for life post the Millennium when Yahuwah will create a new heaven and earth after the final judgment of Satan and after the Great White Throne Judgment of the resurrected sinners. The brief description of the new heavens and earth in the final two chapters of the book Revelation is a faint glimpse of life in the eternal bliss which the righteous will enjoy forever.
In the new heavens and new earth, Scripture says, there are seven things notable for their absence—seven things that are “no more”:
- no more sea (Revelation 21:1)
- no more death (Revelation 21:4)
- no more mourning (Revelation 21:4)
- no more weeping (Revelation 21:4)
- no more pain (Revelation 21:4)
- no more curse (Revelation 22:3)
- no more night (Revelation 22:5)
Yahuwah will create a new heaven and earth because the earth, instead of heaven, will be His new permanent abode. He will live with Yahushua and the righteous in the new Jerusalem City that will descend from heaven. The earthly Jerusalem and its temple that Yahushua will build upon his return will no longer be needed when Yahuwah recreates heaven and earth. The description of the Heavenly Jerusalem that will descend on earth is beyond any human words. All we can do is keep dreaming about this city vaguely described by Apostle John in Revelation 21 & 22.
We should not conflate the earthly Jerusalem with the heavenly:
There are marked distinctions between the two cities. Here are some of the distinctive features that differentiate the two cities:
- The earthly Jerusalem of the Millennium will have a temple whose specs are outlined in minute detail in the last nine chapters of Ezekiel. The post-Millennium Jerusalem will have no temple.
- The future water flowing from underneath the temple of the earthly Millennial Jerusalem toward the eastern region that goes down into the Arabah [the dead sea, the lowest place of earth at 1400 feet below sea level, and the saltiest body of water] will bring life to the dead so that plentiful fish can be harvested from the current dead sea. In the post-Millennium Jerusalem, we read about the ‘river of living water, sparkling like crystal, flowing from the throne of Yahuwah and of the Lamb’ and about the tree of life, thus providing a distinct difference between the two Jerusalems.
- The presence of sinners during the Millennium will necessitate offering sacrifice to cleanse the righteous from defilement resulting from direct contact with sinners. With no live sinners post the Millennium, there will not be a need for a temple or the offering of any sacrifices. This is why there will not be a temple in post-Millennium Jerusalem.
- There will be no night in the post-Millennium Jerusalem, as the glory of Father Yahuwah will overwhelm the light of the sun and moon. This is not the case with the Millennial Jerusalem, where the ordinances of the sun and moon will continue to govern the day and night.
- In Isaiah 66:22-24, we find a very compelling indication showing not only that the new heaven and earth will be a post-Millennium event but also adding an additional critical detail:
“For just as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, will endure before Me”—this is the Yahuwah’s declaration—“so your offspring and your name will endure. All mankind will come to worship Me from one New Moon to another and from one Sabbath to another,” says Yahuwah. “As they leave, they will see the dead bodies of the men who have rebelled against Me; for their worm will never die, their fire will never go out, and they will be a horror to all mankind.”
In the above declaration of Yahuwah’s new heaven and earth creation, he provides a time context for this act. He informs us that the righteous will see the dead bodies of the men who rebelled against Him, for their worm will never die, and their fire will never go out. This is a descriptive metaphor for the final judgment of the wicked post the Second Resurrection. In other words, the new heaven and earth will come about after the wicked have been judged and burned, post the Millennium.
- Lastly, the events outlined in the Book of Revelation are narrated chronologically. No wonder the new earth, new heaven, and the heavenly Jerusalem are described in chapters 21 and 22, right after chapter 20, which is devoted to the events of the Millennium.
Exciting times await the righteous in the Millennium, and infinitely more exciting times await them post-the Millennium.
