Great and Precious Promises

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of Yahuwah and of Yahushua our Master, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature.  (See 2 Peter 1:2-4)

WLC prefers using the King James Version for deep bible study as the most consistently accurate English translation of Scripture.  Sometimes words of encouragement and promises can be more easily personalized to one's individual needs when the words are phrased in modern English.  For this reason, the following promises are taken from the New Living Translation (NLT) of the Bible.1

I will answer them before they even call to Me.   While they are still talking about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers!
Isaiah 65:24

When they call on Me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble.  I will rescue them and honor them.
Psalm 91:15

Trust in Yahuwah with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.  Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take. Don't be impressed with
your own wisdom. Instead, fear Yahuwah and turn away from evil.
Proverbs 3:5-7

Humanly speaking, it is impossible.  But not with Yahuwah.  Everything is possible with the Mighty Covenant Keepers!
Mark 10:27

My grace is all you need.  My power works best in weakness.
2 Corinthians 12:9

Don't worry about these things, saying, "What will we eat?  What will we drink?  What will we wear?"  These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs.  Seek the Kingdom of Yahuwah above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need.
Matthew 6:31-33

Yahuwah . . . watches over your life.  Yahuwah keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.
Psalm 121:7-8

Don't be afraid, for I am with you.  Don't be discouraged, for I am your Mighty Covenant Keepers. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with My victorious right
hand.
Isaiah 41:10

I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb.  Before you were born I set you apart.
Jeremiah 1:5

The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience.  And the Mighty One is faithful.  He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand.  When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you can endure.
1 Corinthians 10:13

Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows.   But take heart, because I have overcome the world.
John 16:33

The righteous person faces many troubles, but Yahuwah comes to the rescue each time.
Psalm 34:19

Yahuwah is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes.  He is close to those who trust in Him.
Nahum 1:7

I will guide you along the best pathway for your life.  I will advise you and watch over you.
Psalm 32:8

"I know the plans I have for you," says Yahuwah.   "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."
Jeremiah 29:11

If you need wisdom, ask our generous Mighty Covenant Keepers and He will give it to you.  He will not rebuke you for asking.
James 1:5

Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.
Psalm 119:105

Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for Yahuwah rather than for people.  Remember that Yahuwah will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ.
Colossians 3:23-24

Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.  Tell the Mighty Covenant Keepers what you need, and thank Him for all He has done.  Then you will experience Yahuwah's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand.  His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Yahushua the Messiah.
Philippians 4:6-7

Give all your worries and cares Yahuwah, for He cares about you.
1 Peter 5:7

Yahuwah hears His people when they call to Him for help.  He rescues them from all their troubles.  Yahuwah is close to the brokenhearted; He rescues those whose spirits are crushed.  The righteous person faces many troubles, but Yahuwah comes to the rescue each time.
Psalm 34:17-19

Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your Mighty Covenant Keepers.  I will strengthen you and help you.I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

Romans 8:28

Let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious Mighty Covenant Keepers.  There we will receive His mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.
Hebrews 4:16

We can say with confidence, "Yahuwah is my helper, so I will have no fear.  What can mere people do to me?"
Hebrews 13:6

What shall we say about such wonderful things as these?   If Yahuwah is for us, who can ever be against us?  Since He did not spare even His own Son but gave Him up for us all, won't He also give us everything else?
Romans 8:31-32

Nothing can ever separate us from Yahuwah's love.  Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow - not even the powers of hell can separate us from Yahuwah's love.  No power in the sky above or in the earth below - indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of Yahuwah that is revealed in Yahushua the Messiah our Saviour.
Romans 8:38-39

1These promises are taken from The NLT Bible Promise Book, Ron Beers & Amy E. Mason, compilers, (Tyndale House Publ., Inc.), 2007. English names and titles of deity as given in the NLT have been replaced with the original names and titles for the Father and Son. Some changes in punctuation and capitalization of personal pronouns of deity were also added. The title "God" comes from "Elohim" which is a plural word meaning "Mighty Covenant Keepers" or sometimes "Mighty One."
