A Faithful Servant Gone to Sleep: In Loving Memory of Sister Sharon Sumampouw.

The WLC team is deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved sister, Dr. Sharon Sumampouw, a cherished member of our ministry and a faithful servant of Father Yahuwah. Sharon, a citizen of Indonesia, was born on May 27, 1975, and peacefully fell asleep in Yahuwah’s care on October 15, 2025.

Sharon was a licensed medical doctor, but her heart was drawn to a higher calling. In an act of remarkable faith and devotion, she chose to lay aside the practice of medicine to dedicate her life entirely to spreading the truth of Yahuwah’s Word. With her Yahuwah-given creativity and skill, she became the driving force behind the production of the majority of WLC’s powerful and inspiring videos, touching countless lives across the world. Through her tireless work, Sharon’s fingerprints can be found in nearly every message of light that WLC has shared — a legacy that will continue to proclaim the truth until the end of time.

In recent years, Sharon faced a series of serious health challenges, yet she met each one with unwavering courage and faith. Despite being a doctor, she humbly chose to trust in natural remedies and above all, in Father Yahuwah’s sustaining grace. Her commitment to living by faith, even through suffering, was a living testimony of her total surrender to Yahuwah’s will.

Sharon loved animals, especially elephants and her cats. She was also very talented with baking, wire wrapping, and crocheting, making so much beautiful art, to Yah's Glory.

Though her body weakened, her faith never faltered. To all who knew her, Sharon was an embodiment of calm perseverance and quiet strength. Her steadfast trust in Yahuwah’s promises uplifted everyone around her. Even in the face of increasing pain, she radiated peace — a peace that only comes from knowing the One who holds all things in His hands.

To her final breath, Sharon’s heart remained anchored in Yahuwah’s faithfulness. Her lips never uttered complaint, only gratitude and surrender. And when the time came, our merciful Father Yahuwah gently took her breath, granting her rest from her suffering and pain. Her sleep will be but a moment to her — for when Master Yahushua returns, she will awaken with joy and behold His face in glory.

As we mourn the loss of our dear sister, we do not grieve as those without hope. Sharon’s life was a light; her faith, an example; her passing, a reminder that our true home is not here but in the Kingdom soon to come. We eagerly await the day when we will be reunited with Sister Sharon, along with all our faithful loved ones, on that glorious morning of resurrection.

Until then, we remember her with gratitude, love, and the blessed assurance that “precious in the sight of Yahuwah is the death of His saints.”

May her memory be a continual call for us all to walk faithfully, serve joyfully, and trust unwaveringly — just as she did.
