What is the position of World's Last Chance on the State of Israel?
At World's Last Chance we definitely regard the establishment in 1948 of modern-day state of Israel a fulfillment of Bible prophecy. Unlike many of the so-called "Christian Zionists" , we do not support the "dispensational" view of prophecy. This means that we do not believe in the "secret rapture ", which will result in the conversion of 144,000 Jews, who will work on converting and evangelizing those who have been "left behind." We regard the Nazi Holocaust which led to the killing of millions of Jews as a prophetic event. We embrace the Bible Sabbath institution based on Yahuwah's original Luni-solar calendar.
We view His Ekklesia as the new [spiritual] Israel, a continuation of the concept of obedientIsrael of the Old Testament. Therefore, the ekklesia is the legitimate inheritor of the promises made to literal [national] Israel which will culminate in “Thus all Israel will be saved” (Rom. 11:26). Thus, the prophecies in the Old Testament testifying about the blessing and restoration of converted Israel are "spiritualized" into special blessings of Yahuwah to His ekklesia, so long as the Ekklesia remains faithful to her divine mission. Our position is aptly summarized in the following quote:
The reason why we use Ekklesia and not church when referring to Yahuwah's faithful in WLC content is because the word "church" does not accurately convey the meaning of the original Greek, "Ekklesia." Throughout the New Testament, Ekklesia refers to the Called Out Ones. The word "church," which emphasizes a group, is therefore an erroneous translation and should never have been used. Christians are literally the Called Out Ones. The true followers of Yahushua are indeed the Called Out Ones from the organized denominations and religions of fallen Babylon. When the call to flee Babylon has been heard, none are to again return to Babylonian churches and forms of religion.
"That which [Yahuwah] purposed to do for the world through Israel, the chosen nation, He will finally accomplish through His . . . [ekklesia] on earth today. He has "let out His vineyard unto other husbandmen," even to His covenant-keeping people, who faithfully "render Him the fruits in their seasons." Never has [Yahuwah] been without true representatives on this earth who have made His interests their own. These witnesses for [Yahuwah] are numbered among the spiritual Israel, and to them will be fulfilled all the covenant promises made by Yahuwah to His ancient people… To spiritual Israel have been restored the privileges accorded the people of [Yahuwah] at the time of their deliverance from Babylon"
