Answer: Thanks for raising this reasonable point which we have considered many times. However, there are major complications which are not apparent on the surface.
- The computer does not recognize the Biblical dates of the Luni-solar calendar. Entering in the weekly survey questions as well as the daily quiz questions is something that must be done in advance by date. Because the true calendar does not perfectly line up with the Gregorian, it is not always practical to use it for purposes of coding on a computer system that only recognizes Gregorian dates.
- We live in a world that is united in using the pagan calendar. There is nothing inherently wrong with using dates that are easily recognized and understood by everyone. The only thing you do not want to do is to use the pagan calendar for setting worship dates etc.
