Why do you not see at World's Last Chance that the First Beast of Revelation 13 is Islam and not the Roman Catholic Church?
Yahuwah states in 2 Peter 1:20-21: "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of Yahuwah spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." These verses preclude any individual’s private interpretation as being valid or worth being considered. So that being the case then we must let the word of Yahuwah do the interpreting. Let us take another look at the beast of Revelation 13 and our understanding of it and see if it lines up in conformity with the Bible:
Let’s look at these facts regarding the Beast––666, to which all those titles apply:
1. It was to arise among ten divisions of the Roman Empire (Daniel 7:8).
2. It would destroy three of the ten kingdoms (Daniel 7:8).
3. It would speak great words against the Most High (Daniel 7:25; Revelation 13:6).
4. It would wear out the saints of the Most High (Daniel 7:25; Revelation 13:7).
5. It would be guilty of blasphemy (Revelation 13:6; Daniel 7:25).
6. It would attempt to change the divine law (Daniel 7:25).
7. It would exercise its power over all kindred's and tongues and nations (Revelation 13:7).
8. The dragon would give his power, his seat, and his great authority to this beast (Revelation 13:2)
9. It was to continue in world domination for a period of 1260 years (Revelation 13:5; Daniel 7:25).
10. It would receive a mortal wound (Revelation 13:3).
11. It would amaze the whole world, for it’s deadly wound would be healed (Rev.13:3).
We have clearly established with 11 points supported by both ecclesiastical and secular history, and these points these can only apply to the Roman Catholic papacy. What support can you give for your interpretation other than speculation and opinion my friend?
We must not forget that regardless of what may seem certain and inevitable to us that “...the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever He will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.” Daniel 4: 17. Let us give you an example: While the ancient city of Tyre was at the height of her power and glory, while it would seem that she must stand for ever, along came Ezekiel, who prophesied about 590 BC and pronounced that Tyre would be destroyed so thoroughly that the very dust would be scraped from her and only bare rock would be left and that she would never be rebuilt (See Ezekiel 26:4-14).
The object of this example is in response to your mention of the vast number of Muslims and why they are not factored in. We dare not engage in speculation and conjecture. We can therefore only interpret such a vital and significant prophecy as Revelation 13 according to the rules and mandates of the Bible. The Bible has clearly stated that it is the papacy that will be the principle figure in the last, great spiritual battle before Yahushua returns in power and glory, and that is what we believe it is our duty to teach and proclaim, by Yahuwah’s grace, until we can no longer do so.
