Is Yahushua the ''Lord'' in the Old Testament?

Question: Is Yahushua the "Lord" in the Old Testament?

Answer: No.

The KJV Bible uses two forms of the word "lord". One with capital letters "LORD", and another as "lord".

1) "LORD" = Yahuwah (H3068)

The first form "LORD" is replacing the original name of only true God: Yahuwah (H3068). "LORD" appears first time in Genesis 2 and 6575 times in the Old Testament. Always as replacement of the name Yahuwah!

Genesis 2:4
These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens.

Correct translation would be:

Genesis 2:4
These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that YAHUWAH Elohim made the earth and the heavens.

and few more:

Genesis 2:7
And YAHUWAH Elohim formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Genesis 2:8
And YAHUWAH Elohim planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

Genesis 2:9
And out of the ground made YAHUWAH Elohim to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

From these and other texts it is clear, that our heavenly Father, the only true God, made the heavens, earth, first man and everything else. Why we know it? Because Yahuwah is His name.

Isaiah 42:8
I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

This is wrong translation: "LORD" is only title, it is not name. The correct translation is again:

Isaiah 42:8
I am Yahuwah: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

2) "lord" = 'adown (H113)

The second form, the "lord", is the translation of the word 'adown (H113). It is title for somebody, who has higher or special position than others. For example: master, husband, prophet, governor, prince, king...

Here are few examples:

Genesis 23:5-6
And the children of Heth answered Abraham, saying unto him,

Hear us, my lord: thou art a mighty prince among us: in the choice of our sepulchres bury thy dead; none of us shall withhold from thee his sepulchre, but that thou mayest bury thy dead.

In this context is Abraham their lord. Here is one more example:

Genesis 24:17-18
And the servant ran to meet her, and said, Let me, I pray thee, drink a little water of thy pitcher.

And she said, Drink, my lord: and she hasted, and let down her pitcher upon her hand, and gave him drink.

In this context the oldest servant of Abraham is called "lord" by Rebekah, the future wife of Isaac. Here is another example with the word "lord" used:

Genesis 42:33
And the man, the lord of the country, said unto us, Hereby shall I know that ye are true men; leave one of your brethren here with me, and take food for the famine of your households, and be gone:

Here is as the "lord" described the man Joseph:

Genesis 42:6
And Joseph was the governor over the land, and he it was that sold to all the people of the land: and Joseph's brethren came, and bowed down themselves before him with their faces to the earth.

We see, that Joseph's brothers came and bowed down themselves before him. He was not God, neither was he Yahushua, he was a man like they were. Yet they bowed down before him, which was sigh of deep respect.

In another example Jacob called Esau his lord and himself his servant:

Genesis 32:4
And he commanded them, saying, Thus shall ye speak unto my lord Esau; Thy servant Jacob saith thus, I have sojourned with Laban, and stayed there until now:

And I have oxen, and asses, flocks, and menservants, and womenservants: and I have sent to tell my lord, that I may find grace in thy sight.

Conclusion: There is no verse in the Old Testament stating, that Yahushua is the "LORD" or the "lord". The "LORD" is always Yahuwah, our heavenly Father, the only true Elohim (God). The "lord" can be anybody, whom was shown respect by his respectful position.

Yahushua is called "Lord" in the New Testament. But this is no proof, that Yahushua is God or that he existed before his birth as a man. He was respected by others and therefore they called him "Lord". He was the promised Messiah, the son of God, the prophet, the lamb of Yah, the teacher and more...

As Joseph was the governor of Egypt under the Pharaoh and his brothers called him "lord", the man Yahushua is now the governor of our world under our heavenly Father Yahuwah and we may call him "Lord".

Luke 22:69
Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.

Acts 2:33
Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

Philippians 2:8-11
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

That at the name of Yahushua every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

And that every tongue should confess that Yahushua Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
