Anti-Bible Statements by Ellen White Undermining the New Moon Day

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.” Matthew 7:15 ESV

The light on the New Moon Day and the Lunar Sabbath has come to the Seventh-day Adventist Church through our humble efforts and the efforts of many faithful Lunar Sabbath keepers. Unsurprisingly, the SDA Church ridiculed the Lunar Sabbath and rejected the fact that the New Moon Day interrupts the weekly cycle every four weeks. The reason for the SDA Church rejecting the light on the Lunar Sabbath is mainly due to the following statements penned by Ellen White:

“I was then carried back to the creation, and was shown that the first week, in which God performed the work of creation in six days and rested on the seventh day, was just like every other week. The great God, in his days of creation and day of rest, measured off the first cycle as a sample for successive weeks till the close of time. “These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created.” God gives us the productions of his work at the close of each literal day.

Each day was accounted of him a generation, because every day he generated or produced some new portion of his work. On the seventh day of the first week God rested from his work, and then blessed the day of his rest, and set it apart for the use of man. The weekly cycle of seven literal days, six for labor and the seventh for rest, which has been preserved and brought down through Bible history, originated in the great facts of the first seven days.” {1SP 85.1}

“Like the Sabbath, the week originated at creation, and it has been preserved and brought down to us through Bible history. God Himself measured off the first week as a sample for successive weeks to the close of time. Like every other, it consisted of seven literal days. Six days were employed in the work of creation; upon the seventh, God rested, and He then blessed this day and set it apart as a day of rest for man.” PP, 111.

Yahuwah’s divine calendar is built on the New Moon Day to separate the Lunar months. And with the promise that more light will be given to His people in these last days to restore every forgotten truth, leading to the restoration of the true Sabbath and the Holy Feasts, in preparation for the establishment of His eternal kingdom on earth. It would, therefore, be unthinkable to suppose that Father Yahuwah will choose a messenger who will pen statements that would be used as the basis for rejecting the biblical calendar when such light is shed upon His people.

We are ready to grant that an objective analysis and reading the above statements does not openly cancel the New Moon Day outright. It could be that Ellen White did not have in mind to reject the New Moon Day when writing the above statements. This we grant. But we can’t grant that Father Yahuwah, who sees the end from the beginning, would select an end-time messenger/prophet who will inadvertently write statements that can be construed to cancel the New Moon Day and undermine His calendar’s structure. Again, let’s suppose for argument’s sake that Father Yahuwah chose Ellen White as His end-time messenger. Would not the Holy Spirit have prevented her from writing statements that could be understood to cast doubt on the importance and distinctiveness of the New Moon Day? Yahuwah’s divine calendar is built on the New Moon Day to separate the Lunar months. And with the promise that more light will be given to His people in these last days to restore every forgotten truth, leading to the restoration of the true Sabbath and the Holy Feasts, in preparation for the establishment of His eternal kingdom on earth. It would, therefore, be unthinkable to suppose that Father Yahuwah will choose a messenger who will pen statements that would be used as the basis for rejecting the biblical calendar when such light is shed upon His people. At the very least, if she had not penned the above statements, the SDA Church might have been open to examining the light on the forgotten New Moon Day and His calendar. But the tragic truth is that the SDA Church has always been held hostage to the writings of Ellen White. Those who dare to show the contradictions of her writings with the Bible are asked to either recant their positions and toe the denominational line on Ellen White or leave the denomination.

Suppose you still believe Father Yahuwah chose Ellen White as His end-time messenger/prophet even though He foresaw the barriers her writings would create against restoring the true Sabbath, His calendar, and His Holy Feasts. Can you cite a single case of a Bible writer whose inspired writings undermined the progression of divine light?

If you still believe that Father Yahuwah chose Ellen White to deliver His end-time message to His people, you will likely believe us if we claim that we have few bridges to sell at exceptional prices.
