Differences Between Yahuwah and Yahushua

This is a non-WLC article. When using resources from outside authors, we only publish the content that is 100% in harmony with the Bible and WLC current biblical beliefs. So such articles can be treated as if coming directly from WLC. We have been greatly blessed by the ministry of many servants of Yahuwah. But we do not advise our members to explore other works by these authors. Such works, we have excluded from publications because they contain errors. Sadly, we have yet to find a ministry that is error-free. If you are shocked by some non-WLC published content [articles/episodes], keep in mind Proverbs 4:18. Our understanding of His truth is evolving, as more light is shed on our pathway. We cherish truth more than life, and seek it wherever it may be found.

Differences Between Yahuwah and Yahushua

YAHUWAH is immortal — Yahushua, the Son of Yahuwah, died

1 Timothy 1:17 To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only Elohim, be honor and glory forever and ever.

1 Corinthians 15:3 Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures

Romans 5:10 We were reconciled to Yahuwah through the death of His Son.

Yahuwah is self-sufficient — Yahushua is YAHUWAH-dependent

Acts 2:36 Therefore let the entire house of Israel know with certainty that Yahuwah has made him both Lord and Messiah, this Yahushua whom you crucified.

Acts 5:31 Yahuwah exalted him at his right hand as Leader and Savior that he might give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.

Acts 2:33 Being therefore exalted at the right hand of Yahuwah, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this that you both see and hear.

John 17:2 since you have given him authority over all people, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him.

John 5:27 and he has given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man.

Romans 2:16 on the day when, according to my gospel, Yahuwah, through Yahushua Christ, will judge the secret thoughts of all.

2 Corinthians 13:4 For he was crucified in weakness, but lives by the power of Yahuwah. For we are weak in him, but in dealing with you we will live with him by the power of Yahuwah.

John 5:22 The Father judges no one but has given all judgment to the Son.

Yahuwah is eternal — Yahushua is begotten (=brought into existence)

Galatians 4:4 But when the fullness of time had come, Yahuwah sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law.

Matthew 1:1 An account of the genealogy [origin] of Yahushua the Messiah, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

Luke 1:31 And now, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you will name him Yahushua.

Luke 1:32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord Yahuwah will give to him the throne of his ancestor David.

Acts 17:31 because he has fixed a day on which he will have the world judged in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed, and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead.

1 John 5:1 Whoever believes that Yahushua is the Christ is born of Yahuwah, and whoever loves the Father loves the child begotten of Him.

YAHUWAH is invisible — Yahushua is visible

John 1:18 No one has seen Yahuwah at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

1 Timothy 1:17 To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only Yahuwah, be honor and glory forever and ever.

John 17:3 And this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true Elohim, and Yahushua Christ whom you have sent.

YAHUWAH is holy — Yahushua became sin for us

1 Peter 1:15-16 As He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, for it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”

Leviticus 11:44 For I am Yahuwah your Elohim; sanctify yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am holy.

2 Corinthians 5:21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of Yahuwah.

Yahuwah is all-knowing — Yahushua is not

Job 21:22
Will any teach Yahuwah knowledge, seeing that he judges those that are on high?

Psalm 147:4 He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name.

Acts 1:7 Yahushua replied, “It is not for you to know the times or periods that the Father has set by his own authority.”

Mark 13:32 “But of that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.”

Mark 5:31 And his disciples said to him, “You see the crowd pressing in on you; how can you say, ‘Who touched me?’” (Yahushua did not know who had touched him, Luke 8:45)

Luke 2:40 The child continued to grow and become strong, increasing in wisdom; and the grace of Yahuwah was upon him.

Luke 2:52 And Yahushua kept increasing in wisdom and stature, and in favor with Yahuwah and men.

Yahushua is a man — YAHUWAH is not

Numbers 23:19 Yahuwah is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent; has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

James 1:17 Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.

Luke 4:4 But Yahushua answered him, saying, “It is written, `Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of Yahuwah.’”

Acts 2:22 “Men of Israel, listen to these words: Yahushua the Nazarene, a man attested to you by Yahuwah with miracles and wonders and signs which Yahuwah performed through him in your midst, just as you yourselves know.”

Luke 4:18 “The Spirit of Yahuwah is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed.”

Acts 10:38 How Yahuwah anointed Yahushua of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power; how he went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for Yahuwah was with him.

Matthew 12:18 “Here is my servant, whom I have chosen, my beloved, with whom my soul is well pleased. I will put my Spirit upon him, and he will proclaim justice to the Gentiles.”

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one Yahuwah, and there is one mediator between Yahuwah and men, the man Christ Yahushua.

Yahushua prays to his YAHUWAH and Father

Matthew 27:46 And about three o’clock Yahushua cried

with a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” that is, “My Elohim, my Elohim, why have you forsaken me?”

Matthew 6:9 “Pray then in this way: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.

Mark 12:29 Yahushua answered, “The first is, ‘Hear, O Israel: Yahuwah our Elohim is one Lord.”

YAHUWAH cannot be tempted — Yahushua was tempted

James 1:13 No one, when tempted, should say, “I am being tempted by Yahuwah”; for Yahuwah cannot be tempted by evil and he himself tempts no one.

Luke 4:1-2 Yahushua, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness, where for forty days he was tempted by the devil. He ate nothing at all during those days, and when they were over, he was famished.

YAHUWAH is the Almighty — Yahushua is the Son of YAHUWAH, servant, sent, appointed, anointed, approved, prophet, priest, and king of David’ s throne

John 20:21 Yahushua said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”

1 Corinthians 15:20-28 But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have died. For since death came through a human being, the resurrection of the dead has also come through a human being; for as all die in Adam, so all will be made alive in Christ. But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ. Then comes the end, when he hands over the kingdom to Yahuwah the Father, after he has destroyed every ruler and every authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death. For “Yahuwah has put all things in subjection under his feet.” But when it says, “All things are put in subjection,” it is plain that this does not include the one who put all things in subjection under him. When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to the one who put all things in subjection under him, so that Yahuwah may be all in all.

YAHUWAH has no Elohim — Yahushua has an Elohim

2 Corinthians 11:31 The Elohim and Father of the Lord Yahushua, He who is blessed forever, knows that I am not lying.

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the Elohim and Father of our Lord Yahushua Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.

Ephesians 4:6 One Elohim and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all.

1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the Elohim and Father of our Lord Yahushua Christ! By his great mercy he has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Yahushua Christ from the dead.

John 20:17 Yahushua said to her, “Do not hold on to me, because I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my Elohim and your Elohim.’”

We have taken out from the original article all pagan names and titles of the Father and Son, and have replaced them with the original given names. Furthermore, we have restored in the Scriptures quoted the names of the Father and Son, as they were originally written by the inspired authors of the Bible. -WLC Team
