SCRIPTURE

The Holy Scriptures (Old and New Testaments) are Yahuwah-breathed and divinely inspired (2 Peter 1:20-21). They contain a full revelation of the Father’s will for man and are the only infallible source for “doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness” (2 Tim. 3:16). [The Bible]

YAHUWAH IS ONE

There is one loving Creator (Deut. 6:4; Mark 12:29; 1 Cor. 8:6) a personal, spiritual being, omnipotent, omniscient, eternal, unchangeable (Malachi 3:6) and everywhere present by His Holy Spirit (Psalms 139:7). The Creator is the great “I AM” (“I AM that I AM” – Exodus 3:14). His name, pronounced in the Hebrew (יהוה), is Yahuwah, which His people are to proclaim to all nations, reverence, and honor by their lives, conversation, worship, and obedience to His commandments. [Father Yahuwah: One God]

ONE MEDIATOR (CHRIST YAHUSHUA)

There is one mediator between Yahuwah and men, the man Christ Yahushua (1 Tim. 2:5) who is the first begotten, totally human, non-pre-existent, son of Yahuwah born of a virgin (Luke 1:26-35). He came to fulfill the promises and covenants of Yahuwah with mankind. He is not “God the Son” of the false “trinity.” He was made of the seed of Abraham and of David (Rom. 1:3). He was tried and tempted as we are, yet was without sin (Heb. 4:15). He resisted sin even to death (Philippians 2:8) for every man (Heb. 2:9) to make atonement for humanity (Heb.2:17) and reconcile us to the Father. He is the head of the ekklesia and the firstborn from the dead (Col. 1:18). He is currently seated at the right hand of Father in heaven, “far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come” (Eph. 1:20-21). Yahushua is the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords (Rev. 19:16), the conquering lion of the tribe of Judah (Rev. 5:5), and the Lamb of Yahuwah that takes away the sins of the world (John 1:29). He is “the way, the truth, and the life.” No one comes to the Father except through him (John 14:6). In due time, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Yahushua is lord to the glory of the Father (Phillipians 2:10-11). [Yahushua: 100% Human]

THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM

The Gospel, or Good News, is about the everlasting Kingdom of Yahuwah on earth. Upon repentance when we accept the Gospel of the Kingdom (Matt.3:2, 4:17; Mark 1:15), we are reconciled to the Father through Yahushua by his death, burial, and resurrection (1 Cor. 15:1-4), the reward of which is eternal citizenship in the kingdom of Yahuwah to be established on the newly created/restored earth (2 Pet. 3:13; Rev. 21:1) as His dwelling place among men. This was the central message of Yahushua during his earthly sojourn (Mark 1:1, 14, 15; Matt. 6:33) and his sole intent and purpose was to teach, qualify, and enable his fellow human beings to inherit, enter (Mark 10:15), and occupy this kingdom. The final destination of the righteous, therefore, is not heaven – above the earth (Psalm 37:9, Psalm 37:11, John 3:13, Acts 2:34, Matt. 5:5), but the kingdom of Yahuwah, which will be established upon the earth (Matt. 6:10, Luke 11:2). (See also: Daniel 2:34-35, 44-45; 7:13-14, 27) [Yahuwah’s Eternal Earthly Kingdom]

YAHUSHUA’S RETURN

The return of the lord Yahushua to earth will not be a secret. The “secret rapture” doctrine is a fallacy. Yahushua’s return will be an ineffably cataclysmic, yet glorious event (2 Peter 3:10) in which the wicked will perish (2 Peter 3:7) and the righteous will receive immortality (1 Cor. 15:50-55). Yahushua gave no sign whatsoever of his return. The only hint he gave the disciples was that it would be sudden and when least expected. Furthermore, unlike the destruction of the temple and Jerusalem, where our lord gave specific signs and a time framework for the event (Matt. 24:1-34), he stated that no one (not even him) knows the day or the hour of his return except the Father (Matthew 24:36). Master Yahushua did, however, hint that his return would be delayed (Matthew 24:48; 25:1-6, 14) and indicated that life on Earth will be business as usual when he returns unexpectedly (Matt. 24:36-39). The key takeaway for believers today is this: We need to be ready every day of our lives, with the strong likelihood that our death may be sooner than his return. Signs do not precede either our sudden death or his return. It is vitally important that believers everywhere search their hearts and make a full surrender. Whether we pass through the grave or greet him at his return, let us strive to be awake, aware, and ready! [Yahushua’s Return]

SALVATION

All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of Yahuwah (Rom. 3:23). The deserved wages of our sin is death (Rom. 6:23). But Yahuwah, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us (Eph. 2:4-7) gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). The lord Yahushua and his vicarious sacrifice on our behalf is our only hope, if we wish to know life beyond the present world. His sacrifice was once for all (Heb. 9:12; 10:10) and there is nothing whatsoever that we can do to add to his already perfect work. When we believe Father’s Yahuwah’s promise to save us and we put our faith in the atoning sacrifice of His son, Yahushua’s righteousness is credited to us (Rom. 3:24-26; 4:5; 2 Cor. 5:21), and we pass from death to life (John 5:24). [Salvation]

Justification: We are justified [declared righteous in the sight of Yahuwah] by faith (Rom. 3:28; 5:1; Gal. 2:16) the moment we believe. Whenever Paul links righteousness with faith, he only references justification, not justification plus sanctification. We are declared righteous in the sight of Yahuwah the moment we believe. Righteousness and justification come from the same Greek root word. This implies that we are assured of eternal life once Yahuwah declares us righteous. Justification will result in a change in life with an unmistakable inclination towards holiness. Good works will evidence such a change (James 2:20-26) but will never produce perfection/sinlessness on this side of eternity. However, a justified follower of Yahushua will not wilfully sin (Heb. 10:26). Occasional setbacks will occur due to our fallen nature but will be followed by repentance (1 John 1:9), great sadness, and a renewed determination to resist sin until death (Heb. 12:4). The good news is that these regrettable occasional setbacks will not rob us of the assurance of eternal life.

Sanctification: Sanctification is the process by which we are molded into the likeness of the lord Yahushua. It is an ongoing process that continues throughout the lifetime of the believer. To be sanctified means to be set apart. When imbued with the Holy Spirit, we will become increasingly set apart from the world and those things not in harmony with the Father’s character (1 Thess. 4:3-8). It is through Yahushua’s sacrifice, alone, that we are sanctified (Heb. 10:10, 14; 13:12). “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” (2 Cor. 3:18; See also: Rom. 12:2).

Glorification: This is the ultimate hope of all believers. It is the final step in our transformation from bearing the fallen image of the “first Adam” to bearing the perfect image of the “second Adam,” Christ Yahushua (1 Cor. 15:45-49). While believers are gifted with the earnest (pledge; down-payment) of the Holy Spirit upon conversion as a guarantee of the promised redemption (2 Cor. 1:22; 5:5), it is not until the return of Yahushua that we receive our glorified bodies and inherit the fullness of Yahuwah’s promise. Believers will be gifted with immortality and new natures at the resurrection (1 Cor. 15:42-44; 2 Cor. 5:1-4; Rom. 8:23). Those who are blessed to be alive when Yahushua returns will be glorified when they are caught up to meet the Master in the air (1 Thess. 4:15-17). “Beloved, now we are children of Yahuwah; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when he is revealed, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.” (1 John 3:2)

THE NEW COVENANT

Yahuwah’s moral law, the Ten Commandments, are a trancript of Yahuwah’s unchanging character and the immutable standard for all believers. It is this moral law that is written on the hearts of believers (Jer. 31:31-34; Heb. 8:8-12; 10:16-17) by the indwelling Holy Spirit (1 John 2:27). The New Covenant, ratified by the blood of Yahushua (Matt. 26:28; Mark 14:24; Luke 22:20; Heb. 12:24), has made the Old Covenant obsolete (Heb. 8:13), as it was only intended to operate “until the time of reformation” (Heb. 9:10) and the coming of the promised Messiah, who has become our High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek (Heb. 7:14-19). Under the New Covenant, believers have full assurance of forgivness and communion with the Father and His son through the Holy Spirit (Jer. 31:33-34; Heb. 8:10-12; 10:16-22). Under the New Covenant, believers constitute both the temple and the priesthood (1 Cor. 3:16; Eph. 2:19-22; 1 Peter 2:5; 9-10). And the sacrifices offered are spiritual (1 Peter 2:5).

WLC believes that the seventh-day Sabbath remains a vital part of the New Covenant for the following reasons: (1) The Sabbath was sanctified (set-apart) during Creation Week, long before the children of Israel received the covenant at Sinai (Gen. 2:2-3). (2) The Sabbath is at the heart of the moral law, written [twice] on stone by the finger of Yahuwah Himself (Ex. 31:18; Deut. 9:10). This is unlike the transient carnal ordinances (Heb. 9:1, 9-10), which were penned by Moses and written in a book (Exo 24:4; Deut. 31:24). [NOTE: The Ten Commandments were placed inside the Ark of the Covenant (Exo 25:16, 21; Deut. 10:1-5; 1 Kings 8:9, 21; Heb. 9:4), which represents the very throne of Yahuwah (Ex. 25:22), while the laws penned by Moses were placed beside the Ark (Deut. 31:26).]

WLC believes that the dietary laws remain binding upon believers under the New Covenant for the following reasons: (1) The distinction between clean and unclean animals was recognized by Noah, long before the children of Israel received the dietary laws from Moses (Gen. 7:2, 8). (2) Under the Old Covenant earthly temple system, unclean animals were never permitted to be offered/sacrificed. Doing so would utterly defile the altar, as happened when Antiochus IV sacrificed a pig upon the altar (I Maccabees 1:54). Today, believers are the temple (1 Cor. 3:16; Eph. 2:19-22; 1 Peter 2:5), so it stands to reason that we should abstain from unclean foods. (3) The command to abstain from eating particular animals was not merely arbitrary. The foods labeled unclean in the Old Testament are unhealthy for the body, as nutritional science today readily confirms. We cannot eat things that we know are detrimental to our overall health to the glory of Yahuwah (1 Cor. 10:31; 3 John 1:2).

We do not suppose for a second that Yahushua abolished the distinction between clean and unclean creatures as taught by some prominent New Covenant preachers, thus bringing to non-effect Yahuwah’s warning in Isaiah 66:17 – “They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith Yahuwah.” Yahushua faithfully upheld all of Father Yahuwah’s instructions and commandments in his teachings. “I have kept My Father’s commandments” (John 15:17). Believing that Yahushua and Paul permitted the eating of unclean animals is based on a flagrant faulty hermeneutic of the Scriptures.

BAPTISM

Baptism, as commanded by the lord Yahushua (Matt. 28:19-20), is an outward demonstration of our faith in his death, burial, and resurrection (Rom. 6:3-6; Col. 2:12). Following faith and repentance, baptism in the name of Christ Yahushua (Acts 2:38) may be performed by any true member of Yahuwah’s ekklesia (Hebrews 12:22-24). (See also: Acts 2:37-38; 8:12, 36-38; 9:17-18; 10:47-48; 16:14-15, 32-33; 18:8; 22:16; Gal. 3:27) Self-baptism: If you have no one to baptize you and you must do it alone, then simply declare to Yahuwah and the onlooking angels, “I believe that Yahushua is the Christ, the son of the living God, and I receive your baptism in his holy name” (Acts 8:36-38). Then fully immerse yourself in the water to the glory of the Father and His anointed son. [Baptism]

FLAT EARTH

At WLC, we honor and worship our Creator by acknowledging the world He created for us, and denouncing the counterfeit world created by the pseudo-scientists and the Roman Catholic Church (and her Jesuits). Scripture is abundantly clear: The Earth is flat (not spherical); The Earth is immovable. It does not rotate or orbit anything. (1 Chronicles 16:30; Psalm 93:1; 96:10; 104:1-5); The Earth is enclosed. The firmament overhead separates the waters above from the waters below. (Genesis 1:6-8); The sun, moon, and stars are inside the firmament, which is solid in nature. (Genesis 1:14-18; Job 37:18); It is the heavenly bodies that move, not the Earth. (Joshua 10:12-13; Isaiah 38:8; Psalm 19:1-6) [The earth is flat.]

THE CREATOR’S CALENDAR

The Biblical Calendar is luni-solar (meaning that it employs the heavenly bodies for time-keeping), and is not synonymous with the modern papal Gregorian calendar observed by the world today. New Moon Day, the weekly Sabbaths, and the yearly feasts are all calculated by the luni-solar calendar. Each month is lunar and the weekly cycle restarts with each New Moon. New Moon Day starts with the first dawn after conjunction (also known as the astronomical new moon). Six work days follow and then a seventh-day Sabbath on the eighth of the month. Three more weeks follow, ending on the 29th. The weekly seventh-day Sabbath always falls on the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th days of the month. The lunations are tied to the solar year by the spring equinox. No month ever has more than 30 days. [The Creator’s Calendar]

WLC does not consider the Biblical Calendar one of the elements of the Old Covenant, which was made obsolete by Yahushua’s institution of the New Covenant. Father Yahuwah established the foundations of His calendar during Creation Week (Gen. 1:14-16), long before the fall of Adam and Eve. Therefore, as long as the sun and moon remain in place, His calendar will remain in effect as the divinely created tool for locating His Holy Days.

While WLC does not believe that the annual feast days are binding upon believers today, we humbly encourage all to set time aside to commemorate them with solemnity and joy, and to learn from Yahuwah’s instructions concerning their observance under the Old Covenant. Doing so will surely be a blessing to you and your home, as you study the wonderful types and shadows that point to the exaltation of Messiah Yahushua as the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the conquering lion of the tribe of Judah, and the Lamb of Yahuwah that takes away the sins of the world.

THE STATE OF THE DEAD

The grave (sheol in Hebrew; hades in Greek) is a place of darkness in which there is no work, device, wisdom, or knowledge (Eccl. 9:10). The state to which we are reduced by death is one of silence, inactivity, and unconsciousness (Psalm 88:11-12; 146:3-4; Eccl. 9:5-6). At the return of Yahushua, the righteous dead will be raised to life and given immortality; the wicked will receive the sentence of condemnation and be destroyed (John 5:28-29). [State of the Dead]

HEAVEN & HELL

Heaven is not the Christian hope. The Bible nowhere promises “heaven” to believers. Rather, Scripture teaches that those who have put their faith in Christ Yahushua will be resurrected and gifted with immortality upon his return to earth (1 Cor. 15:21-23). Those who are alive at his return will be transformed without passing through the grave (1 Thess. 4:15-17). The hope of the redeemed is unending life in Yahuwah’s kingdom upon the earth made new (2 Pet. 3:10-13; Rev. 21:1-8). [Heaven is NOT the Christian goal.] (For an explanation of WLC’s view of the Millennium in Revelation 20, kindly refer to the “Bible Prophecy” section below.)

Hell is not an ever-burning place of eternal torment. The wicked will not be tormented throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity as many today teach. Rather, they will be destroyed. The wicked shall be “cut off” forever (Psa. 37:9, 38; Prov. 2:22). They shall utterly “perish” (Job 20:7; Psa. 37:20; John 3:16; 2 Peter 2:12). They shall be “consumed” (Job 20:26; Isa. 1:28, 31), “devoured” (Psa. 21:9; Isa. 10:16-18; Nah. 1:9-10; Rev. 20:9), and “destroyed” (Psa. 37:34-38; 52:1, 5; 92:7; 145:20; Prov. 13:13; Isa. 13:9; 2 Peter 2:9-12) by fire and shall be “no more” (Psa. 37:9-11). They “shall be as though they had not been” (Oba. 1:15-16). [Hell: The Destruction of the Wicked]

NEW HEAVENS & NEW EARTH

At the last trump, the living righteous will be immortalized and with the resurrected righteous, caught up to meet Yahushua in the air (1 Thess. 4:16, 17). The immortalized saints will then accompany Master Yahushua as he returns to the earth, which will be made new (2 Pet. 3:10-13; Rev. 21:1-8). Unending life in Yahuwah’s eternal kingdom upon the New Earth is the great hope of the believer.

BIBLE PROPHECY

The fulfillment of Bible Prophecy is irrefutable proof of the Bible’s divine origins. “Remember the former things of old, For I am El, and there is no other; I am Elohim, and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done . . .” (Isaiah 46:9-10) To date, Scripture has maintained a perfect track record of predicted events, down to the most minute detail.

A Few Examples: The fall of the Babylonian Empire and subsequent rise of the Medo-Persian Empire (Daniel 2); Cyrus to be the warrior to capture Babylon (Isaiah 45:1-3)… Cyrus had not yet been born!; Babylon to never be inhabited again (Isaiah 13, Jeremiah 51); The fall of the Medo-Persian Empire and subsequent rise of Greece (Daniel 2, 7, 8); The conquests of Alexander the Great (Daniel 7, 8); The division of Greece among four generals following Alexander’s death (Daniel 8); The rise and fall of pagan Rome following the fall of the Grecian Empire (Daniel 2); Egypt to never again have a commanding position among the nations (Ezekiel 29, 30); The destruction of the Temple at Jerusalem (Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 19); The Exact year of the first Christian martyr, and the giving of the gospel to the Gentiles – The “70 Weeks” Prophecy (Daniel 9)

The lord Yahushua fulfilled more than 350 messianic prophecies in every detail, including the exact times, places, and circumstances of his birth, his ministry, his rejection, his betrayal, and his vicarious death.

A Few Examples: Be a descendant of Abraham (Genesis 12:3); Be a descendant of Isaac (Genesis 17:19; 21:12); Be a descendant of Jacob (Gen 28:14; Numbers 24:17, 19); Be a descendant of Judah (Genesis 49:10); Be born in Bethlehem (Micah 5:1-2); Be born at a Specific Time (Daniel 9:25) – This prophecy pointed forward to the exact years of Yahushua’s baptism and crucifixion!; Slaughter of children in an effort to kill Yahushua while He was still a child (Jeremiah 31:15); Flight to Egypt (Hosea 11:1); Preceded by a forerunner (Malachi 3:1); Preceded by Elijah (Malachi 4:5-6); Declared the Son of Yahuwah (Psalms 2:7; Proverbs 30:4); Have a ministry in healing (Isaiah 35:5-6; 42:18); Galilean ministry (Isaiah 8:22-9:1; 9:1-2); Speak in parables (Psalms 78:2-4); A prophet (Deuteronomy 18:15); Have Yahuwah’s own Name applied to Him (Isaiah 9:5-7; Jeremiah 23:5-6); To bind up the brokenhearted (Isaiah 61:1-2); Rejected by His own people (Isaiah 53:3; 63:3; Psalms 69:8-9); Adored by great persons (Psalms 72:10-11); Priest after the order of Melchizedek (Psalms 110:4); Triumphal entry into Jerusalem on a colt (Zechariah 9:9); Adored by infants (Psalms 8:2); Not believed (Isaiah 53:1); Betrayed by a close friend (Psalms 41:9; 55:12-15); Betrayed for thirty pieces of silver (Zechariah 11:12); Accused by false witnesses (Psalms 35:11); Silent to accusations (Isaiah 53:7); Spat on and struck (Isaiah 50:6); Hated without reason (Isaiah 49:7, Psalms 35:19; 69:4-5); Crucified with criminals (Isaiah 53:12); Pierced through His hands and feet (Psalms 22:16-17; Zechariah 12:10); Sneered and mocked (Psalms 22:7-8); Reproached (Psalms 69:9); Prayed for His enemies (Psalms 109:4); Soldiers gambled for His clothing (Psalms 22:17-18); No bones broken (Exodus 12:46; Psalms 34:20); His side pierced (Zechariah 12:10); Buried with the rich (Isaiah 53:9); Resurrected! (Psalms 16:10; 49:15)

WLC holds to a partial-preterist view of Bible Prophecy, meaning that most of the Bible’s prophesied events have already come to pass (including the Olivet Discourse of Matthew 24 and all of the Book of Revelation, with the exception of the last few chapters). The Master’s return will be sudden and unexpected. Those who are expecting a particular sign to herald the nearness of his return are in danger of being caught unaware (Matt. 24:36-25:46).

WLC adheres to the Amillennial view of Revelation 20, which posits that the Millennium (1,000 years – Rev. 20:1-6) is a symbolic period, representing Christ’s reign from Heaven over all the world’s nations (from his ascension until his glorious return), while the believers reign with him by faith (Eph. 2:5-6). During this [current] period, Satan is restricted in his ability to deceive the nations – unlike the period that preceded Christ’s ascension (Matt. 12:29; Luke 11:21). However, just before the return of Christ, Satan will again be permitted to deceive the nations without restrictions (Rev. 20:7-8). It is clear from Revelation 19 that the beast and the false prophet will play critical roles in this final deception. John does not reveal whether the false prophet and the beast are two specific individuals or systems when they emerge with Satan to carry out their final deception; this will become more apparent when the time comes for Satan to be freed.

We do not believe that we are qualified to apply the dual-fulfillment principle to specific Bible prophecies, like the fall of Jerusalem (Matt. 24:1-34) as a type of the final destruction of the world. There are only a few instances in which the inspired prophets of Yahuwah applied this principle in their writings. They have done so, like in the prophecy of Isaiah 7:14 (Matt. 1:23), but it was under the pointed inspiration of the Holy Spirit, which is the author of both the Old and New Testament. Therefore, students of Scripture today should shun the dual-fulfillment approach to interpreting Bible prophecy. Prophecies have a one-time fulfillment, unless the Holy Spirit indicates otherwise.

When interpreting Scripture, and prophecy in particular, we must allow those things which are plainly stated to shed light on the more ambiguous statements; we must never insist on using the more ambiguous statements and illustrations to make null those things which are plainly stated. Said another way, no interpretation of a symbolic passage should be allowed to overturn (or trump) the witness of a passage, which was written in a clear didactic and a straightforward manner. [Bible Prophecy]

TRUE ISRAEL

An Israelite, in the New Testament Biblical sense, is one who accepts Yahuwah’s plan of salvation through Yahushua, the Anointed, and who follows Yahuwah fully. A true Israelite may be of Jewish or Gentile descent. It is not his natural (or first) birth that makes him an Israelite (Rom. 2:28-29; 9:6); it is the new (or second) birth (John 3:3; 1 Pet. 1:22-23). Israelites are twice-born men and women, who have accepted the grace of Yahuwah, and who recognize Yahushua as their Redeemer from sin and death. In Christ, there is no distinction between Jew and Gentile. All are one in Messiah Yahushua (Rom. 10:12; Gal. 3:28-29; Col. 3:10-11). [Israel]

We loathe the destructive use of many Christian pulpits to promote Christian Zionism and the national interest of the godless nation of Israel. Nothing is more abominable to Father Yahuwah and Master Yahushua than such misguided and unholy pursuits. Instead of spreading the Gospel of the Kingdom and urging the constant readiness of Christians to welcome back Yahushua on any day, these pulpits are misusing their privilege to promote a Satanic false gospel. We warn the followers of this false gospel to flee from these pulpits and repentantly return to the fundamental elements of the faith once delivered to the saints.

SPEAKING IN TONGUES

The true “gift of tongues” always glorifies Yahuwah and is only given for the purpose of communicating divine truths to those who otherwise could not understand the words being spoken. By contrast, the sounds uttered by many who today claim to have the “gift of tongues” is nothing but meaningless babblings. The sounds made are not distinct languages and they certainly do not instruct any in truth and righteousness. In fact, the glossolalia, or “speaking in tongues,” practiced by most people today directly contradicts the guidelines given in Scripture that reveal whether it is genuine or false (Acts 2:1-41; 1 Cor. 14).

HOME EKKLESIA

The WLC Team believes that it is high time that Yahuwah’s faithful flee the apostate system of religion promulgated by the fallen churches today. All have fallen. All have lost their way and have become a breeding ground for complacency, false doctrines, and confusion. Home ekklesia is not simply an option; it is a must! [Worship from Home]

Jesus IS God, the Son of God, the Trinity IS the truth, and Jesus was NOT a created being. The Bible teaches all of that as fact. I am so sorry that you did not understand this from the Bible, but it is you who has the misconceptions and man made traditions, not historical Christianity. The earth is also not flat. Glad I could clear all that up for you!

We fully agree, Sister Cherule, that salvation is found uniquely through the saving work of the Savior, though our ministry honors the true Hebrew name given by the Creator, which is Master Yahushua rather than the late Greek and Latin translation “Jesus.” In the true Unitarian framework of the Scriptures, the opening of John’s Gospel does not describe a second person of a Trinity, but rather focuses on Father Yahuwah’s own divine Logos—His spoken word, plan, and purpose—which existed with Him from the very beginning. This powerful, life-giving word became flesh when the Creator miraculously brought forth His uniquely begotten human Son, Yahushua, who perfectly embodied His Father’s character and willingly gave His life for our sins within our enclosed, non-moving realm. Mainstream church traditions use late philosophical terms to turn the word into a co-equal God, but the plain text reveals that the Messiah is the exalted human mediator who sits at the right hand of the one true God, Yahuwah. True spiritual discernment means looking past man-made creeds to see that the entire blueprint of salvation glorifies the Father through the obedience of His Son, preparing our hearts for His sudden return as a thief in the night.

We understand that historical church traditions have taught the Trinity and a spherical earth for many centuries, but our ministry focuses entirely on stripping away these late human ideas to restore the pure, unblemished truth of the literal Scriptures. The Bible consistently portrays Father Yahuwah as the one true, supreme God who stands completely alone in His absolute authority, while Master Yahushua is explicitly revealed as His uniquely begotten Son, brought forth to fulfill the grand plan of salvation within our enclosed, non-moving realm. Mainstream denominations rely on complicated theological formulas and secular science to explain away the plain text of Genesis, completely missing how the physical structure of creation and our own everyday senses naturally match the stable, covered earth described by the prophets. True spiritual discernment does not mean following the shifting consensus of institutional religious systems, but humbling ourselves to accept the word of Father Yahuwah exactly as it is written from the very beginning. We do not use man-made traditions to decode the Bible, but stand firm on a completed creation that perfectly glorifies the Creator and prepares our hearts for the sudden return of Christ as a thief in the night.

Jesus is God!!!

Titus 2:13 looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ,

John 8:58
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

God is three in one.

1 John 5:7
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

How is doctrine understood?

Isaiah 28:9-10
Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.
For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

John 1:1-3, 14,17-15-16

John 1:1-3-2
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
The same was in the beginning with God.

14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
17For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.
And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.

It’s obvious the Word is Jesus Christ. Do you see John 1:14 and 17 how it says grace and truth, speaking of the Word and Jesus Christ?

1 John 5:7 is the clearest scripture showing that God is three in one.

Dear Stephen,

Thank you so much for sharing your heart and these powerful scriptures with us. We deeply appreciate your desire to understand and protect sound biblical doctrine. Your reference to Isaiah 28:9-10 reminds us all that spiritual truth is built carefully—line upon line and precept upon precept—with a humble, teachable spirit.

At World’s Last Chance Ministry, we share your profound love for Yahuwah and your deep reverence for Yahushua Christ. It is precisely because we want to follow Scripture as closely as possible that we welcome this conversation about our understanding of the nature of Yahuwah and His Son.

You beautifully pointed out John 1, noting that the Word became flesh, full of grace and truth, and that this refers to Yahushua Christ. We completely agree! Yahushua is the perfect expression of the Father’s mind, plan, and character. He is the Word made flesh. However, when John writes that the Word was with God, it indicates a distinction between two entities. A person cannot be with someone and simultaneously be that exact same person. Throughout the New Testament, Yahushua is consistently revealed not as Yahuwah Himself, but as the unique Son of Yahuwah. He is the Mediator who brings us directly to the Father.

When we look closely at the other context clues you shared, the beautiful, simple truth of Yahuwah’s oneness becomes even clearer:
John 8:58: When Yahushua said, “before Abraham was, I am,” he was not claiming to be the Almighty God of Exodus. He was asserting his divine appointment and preeminence in Yahuwah’s eternal plan. In the original Greek context, Yahushua used the phrase ego eimi (“I am”). In other parts of the Gospels, when blind men or disciples used this exact same phrase to mean “I am the one,” no one assumed they were claiming to be Yahuwah. Yahushua is the promised Messiah who was foremost in the Father’s plan before Abraham ever existed.

Titus 2:13: In standard, straightforward reading, this verse points us to a beautiful dual hope: the glorious appearing of our great God (the Father) and our Savior, Yahushua Christ. They work in perfect harmony, but they remain two distinct identities.

You mentioned that 1 John 5:7 is the clearest scripture showing that ‘God is three in one.’ We want to gently share a historical fact with you, in a spirit of shared learning. The overwhelming majority of Christian theologians, historians, and manuscript experts—regardless of their personal denomination—openly acknowledge that the words “in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one” were not written by the Apostle John.

This phrase is known historically as the Comma Johanneum. It is entirely absent from every ancient Greek manuscript of 1 John written before the 14th century. Early church fathers never quoted it during the major theological debates of the 3rd and 4th centuries because it did not exist in their Bibles. It was accidentally added to Latin copies centuries later and eventually slipped into the King James Version. Modern translations remove it because we want to adhere strictly to what Yahuwah originally inspired. In the real context of 1 John 5, the “three that bear witness” are the Spirit, the water, and the blood—all testifying that Yahushua is the Son of Yahuwah, not Yahuwah Himself.

Our goal at WLC is to strip away human traditions and return to the simple faith of the early believers: that there is one God, the Father, and one Lord, Yahushua Christ.

Thank you for your devotion to Yahuwah’s Word. We hope this response, written in love, helps open up a wonderful journey of studying these precepts together!

In Father Yahuwah’s Love,
Galal.

Dear Brother Stephen,

Again, we deeply appreciate your sincere heart and commitment to preserving Scripture. Yet from a biblical Unitarian perspective, we lovingly share that John 1:1 refers not to a pre-existent person but to Yahuwah’s divine logos—His internal plan, wisdom, and purpose—which was always with Him and was eventually made flesh in the human Messiah. Psalm 110:1 explicitly disproves Oneness theology by depicting two distinct wills and identities, as the Father (Yahuwah) speaks directly to a separate lord (adoni, a title for a human superior, not Deity). Regarding 1 John 5:7, true preservation of the 66 inspired books means acknowledging that the Johannine Comma is a late Latin insertion, completely absent from thousands of ancient Greek manuscripts. This proves that the Scriptures consistently uphold Yahuwah as the one true God and Yahushua as His distinct, obedient Son.

If you are open to continuing our study, would you prefer to examine the linguistic differences between Adonai and Adoni in Hebrew prophecy, or to look at how early believers understood the logos before later church councils modified the text?

Jesus existed as the Word of God as God and also with the Father.

John 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

John 6
33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

34 Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.

35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

39 And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

41 The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.

Clearly Jesus came down from heaven which means he existed before he was made flesh.

You and I don’t believe in the same Jesus. Your Jesus is not God and therefore has no power to die for sinners if he was just a man and not also God.

Jesus is fully man and fully God. And there is none like him.

And this will be the last time I post.

Titus 3:10,11
A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;
Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

Dear Brother Stephen,

Thank you for sharing your heart and these powerful scriptures. Your deep reverence for our Savior’s majesty is evident, and I truly honor your zeal for truth. It is painful to hear that this may be your last post, but please know you are deeply loved. Our shared desire is to give all glory to the Father and His Son.

Because we both care so deeply about Yahuwah’s Word, please allow me to offer a pastoral perspective on the scriptures you shared, as we understand them on the World’s Last Chance Beliefs Page.

When Yahushua prays in John 17:5 to be glorified with the glory he had with the Father “before the world was,” we interpret this through the lens of Yahuwah’s eternal plan. In Hebrew thought and scripture, things that are highly valued and pre-ordained by Yahuwah are understood to already exist within His divine purpose. For example, 1 Peter 1:20 says of Christ, “Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you.” Similarly, Revelation 13:8 speaks of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Just as Christ was “slain” in the mind and plan of Yahuwah before creation, he also possessed that divine glory within the Father’s purpose before the world began.
In John 6, Yahushua, the “bread which came down from heaven,” clarifies his meaning by comparing himself to the manna. The literal manna did not descend from the sky as a pre-existing entity; it was a physical provision produced by Yahuwah’s supernatural power. Yahushua “came down from heaven” because his origin is entirely divine—he was conceived by the Holy Spirit, sent by Yahuwah, and spoke the words of heaven, not because he was a pre-existent spirit being who changed locations.

Finally, brother, we do not believe Yahushua was “just a man.” He is the uniquely begotten, sinless Son of Yahuwah, perfectly filled with the Father’s Spirit. His power to die for sinners does not come from being Yahuwah Himself, but from his perfect, unblemished obedience as the Second Adam. If Yahushua were Yahuwah, he could not have truly died (1 Timothy 6:16). It is precisely because he was a real human being who overcame sin that his sacrifice carries infinite value and saving power for us.

In closing, you quoted Titus 3:10-11 regarding a heretic. This scriptural warning is vital because the term “heretic” (from the Greek hairetikos) historically refers to someone who creates division, factions, or a party spirit, rather than merely holding a doctrinal disagreement. Our goal is never to divide the body of Christ but to seek the truth together in love. Although we see the nature of the Savior differently, our faith is firmly anchored in the biblical Yahushua, who died for our sins and was raised by Yahuwah.

Even if this is our final exchange, I pray that the Father of our Lord Yahushua Christ blesses you, keeps you, and fills you with His peace. You remain our brother in Christ.

In Father Yahuwah’s Love,
Galal.

I’m saying this because I genuinely care about you, not because I want to win an argument. Sometimes truth stings, but lies destroy, and I’d rather risk hurting your feelings for a moment than watch you walk down a path that leads you away from the God who loves you.

You say your ultimate authority is the Bible. I respect that. But here’s the hard truth:
**Anyone can claim that.**
Jehovah’s Witnesses claim it.
Mormons claim it.
Armstrongist groups claim it.
Every false movement in history has claimed it.

The real question is not *“Do you say the Bible is your authority?”*
The real question is *“Does your interpretation contradict the rest of Scripture?”*

And that’s where your position breaks down.

You’ve built a system that **doesn’t fit the whole Bible**, only the parts you’re comfortable with. But Scripture is not a buffet. It’s a unified revelation. When your interpretation contradicts other passages, that’s not “new light.” That’s a warning sign.

You also say truth isn’t found in any earthly organization, yet you turn around and claim that **only WLC has the full truth**. That’s the same exclusivism every false group uses. And when I compare what WLC teaches with Scripture, the contradictions are obvious.

I’ve read your materials. I’ve read the materials of other groups who sincerely believe they alone have “the truth.” They all sound convincing. They all sound passionate. And they all lead people away from Christ. Not because they’re evil, but because they’re deceived, and deception spreads when people stop testing everything against the whole counsel of God.

I’m praying, sincerely, that whoever is behind WLC receives wisdom and discernment from the Holy Spirit. Not to shame them, but to rescue them.

Because here’s the core issue:

## **If Jesus is not God, the entire Bible collapses.**

This isn’t a side doctrine. This is the center of the Christian faith.

If Jesus isn’t God, then:
– **Hebrews 1:8** makes no sense
– **Revelation 1:8** makes no sense
– **Thomas’ confession** makes no sense
– **Emmanuel** makes no sense
– **John 1:3** makes no sense
– **Colossians 1:16–17** makes no sense
– **Jesus’ claim to raise Himself** makes no sense

But when you accept the truth, that Jesus *is* God, all of these passages fit together perfectly. The Bible becomes a unified whole instead of a puzzle with missing pieces.

Denying the deity of Christ doesn’t just create confusion. It destroys the gospel.
Because if Jesus is not God, then His death has no power to save.
And if His death has no power to save, then we are still in our sins.

That’s why I’m speaking plainly:
**Without Jesus as God, there is no salvation.**

I’m not saying this to attack you. I’m saying it because I don’t want you, or anyone, to follow a path that leads away from the Savior who gave His life for you.

Please, test everything. Not against WLC. Not against me.
Test it against the Word of God, the whole Word, not isolated verses.

World’s Last Chance (WLC) thanks you for your prayers and kind words. We disagree that following the plain words of the Bible leads people away from Yahuwah. We do not believe that our group is the only one with the truth. Truth belongs only to Father Yahuwah, and He reveals it through His clean Word, not through mainstream church rules. The contradictions you see are just the clash between old church traditions and the pure truth of the Bible.

The Bible does not fall apart if Yahushua is not the Almighty Yahuwah. The scriptures clearly show that He is the real Son of Yahuwah. He depended on His Father, obeyed His Father, and was sent by His Father.

In Hebrews 1:8, the text says, “Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever.” The Bible uses the word “God” (Elohim/Theos) here in the same way it uses it for judges, angels, and messengers. It does not mean the Son is the supreme Creator of everything. Instead, it shows that the Father gave Him power and made Him King. In fact, the very next verse, Hebrews 1:9, says the Father is “thy God, even thy God.”
The real deception is changing the simple truth of the Father and Son to fit human philosophy. We encourage everyone to test all beliefs against the whole Bible, rather than relying on human traditions that obscure the true identity of the Father and His Son.

Sevrin Vorndran June 5, 2026 at 4:44 pm

You wrote: “We do not believe that our group is the only one with the truth.” If that is truly what you believe, then you should be open to reasoning, discussion, examination, and correction. Anyone who sincerely seeks truth must also be willing to admit the possibility of being wrong. That is not weakness, that is humility before God.

If you are genuinely committed to the authority of Scripture, then you must also be committed to study, prayer, and testing every doctrine against the whole Word of God, especially when a belief can be shown to contradict Scripture. Any teaching that contradicts the Bible, not a tradition, not a denomination, but the Bible itself, must be rejected.

This brings me to Hebrews 1:8.

You quoted it incorrectly, and the error becomes obvious when you examine the Greek text or even a strictly literal translation. The NASB, which follows the original grammar closely, renders it:

“But regarding the Son He says, ‘Your throne, God, is forever and ever, And the scepter of righteousness is the scepter of His kingdom.’”
This is not ambiguous. This is not symbolic. This is not a mistranslation. The Father calls the Son “God.”

Changing this verse to fit your doctrine is no different from what groups like the Jehovah’s Witnesses have done, altering Scripture to protect a belief system that cannot survive honest examination. When a doctrine cannot stand unless the text is rewritten, that doctrine is already exposed as false.

You did not change Hebrews 1:8 because the Greek demanded it. You changed it because your doctrine demanded it.

That is not testing Scripture. That is forcing Scripture to bow to your system.

You wrote something I actually agree with:

“We encourage everyone to test all beliefs against the whole Bible, rather than relying on human traditions…”
I did exactly that. I tested your teachings against the whole Bible, not traditions, not councils, not denominations, and the contradictions were immediate and unavoidable. Your organization does not teach the full counsel of God. It teaches a system that appeals to those with itching ears, those who want a Jesus who is less than God and a gospel that is less than salvation.

If you cannot see that altering Scripture is lying, then you are already under judgment. Paul warned about this very thing in Galatians 1:6–9, anyone who preaches a different gospel is accursed.

I am not writing this to attack you. I am writing this because truth matters, and because deception destroys souls. If you truly want to honor God, then repent. Return to the Scriptures without forcing them to fit a man‑made system. Study the Word of God with honesty, humility, and reverence.

Right now, whether you realize it or not, you are supporting the work of the adversary, not the work of Christ.

At World’s Last Chance, our transition from the traditional Trinitarian view to the Biblical Unitarian position was not a hasty decision but the result of years of deep, prayerful scriptural analysis and rigorous historical research. We thoroughly examined the pagan origins of the Trinity and weighed them against the clear, consistent testimony of Scripture, which repeatedly declares that the Father alone is the one true God. In our commitment to truth over tradition, we found that the Bible honors Yahushua as the uniquely begotten Son of God, rather than as a co-equal, co-eternal member of a triune deity. When addressing passages like Hebrews 1:8, where the Son is addressed with the title of “god,” a closer look at the original language and context reveals this as a dynamic expression of divine representation. In the biblical Hebrew mindset, rulers, angels, and judges acting on behalf of the Almighty were frequently called “elohim” or gods. Thus, the text beautifully exalts the Son’s delegated authority and supreme kingship under the Father, rather than declaring him the absolute Source of all existence. We share this not to cause division but to gently guide truth-seekers back to the simple, beautiful monotheism taught by Yahushua himself. We lovingly appeal to you to set aside preconceived theological frameworks and join us in examining the scriptures with a fresh, open heart, letting the pure word of Truth speak for itself.

Dear Brother Gilberto,

The apparent shift from Immanuel to Jesus is a matter of translation history and prophetic meaning, not a name replacement. From the World’s Last Chance perspective, Immanuel was never intended to be the Messiah’s personal name but a prophetic title from Isaiah 7:14 that literally means “El with us.” When the angel Gabriel spoke to Mary, he gave her the specific, personal Hebrew name Yahushua, which translates to “Yahuwah is Salvation.” This true name perfectly fulfills the Immanuel prophecy because the presence of Yahushua on earth meant that the Father, Yahuwah, was actively bringing salvation to live among His people. The name Jesus appeared much later through a multi-step translation process that began when Hebrew names were adapted into Greek, then modified into Latin, and finally changed again when the letter “J” was invented for the English language. World’s Last Chance emphasizes that using the modern name Jesus obscures the original Hebrew roots and strips away the Father’s holy name, Yahuwah, which is beautifully embedded within the Savior’s true name, Yahushua.

World’s Last Chance is not defending biblical truth it is undermining it. Their teachings deny the deity of Christ, reject the clear testimony of creation, dismiss the reality of judgment, and twist Scripture to fit a system that collapses under its own contradictions. These are not harmless errors. These are core doctrines of the Christian faith, and WLC stands in direct opposition to them.

Their message does not come from Scripture. It comes from the same stream of doctrinal distortion we see in groups like the Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormons, and the Armstrongist splinter groups. The pattern is always the same:

Deny who Jesus is

Deny what Jesus accomplished

Deny the authority and clarity of Scripture

Replace the gospel with a system that exalts man and diminishes Christ

Jesus is God and Scripture leaves no room for debate
To deny the deity of Christ is to deny the very foundation of Christianity. If Jesus is not God, then the New Testament collapses into nonsense.

John 1:1–14 — The Word was God and became flesh.

Matthew 1:23 — His name is Emmanuel, “God with us.”

Hebrews 1:8 — The Father Himself calls the Son God.

John 10:30 — “I and the Father are one.”

John 20:28 — Thomas calls Jesus “My Lord and my God,” and Jesus affirms it.

John 2:19–21 — Jesus claims He will raise Himself from the dead — something only God can do.

If Jesus is not God, then:

John contradicts himself
Matthew misquotes prophecy
Hebrews lies
Thomas blasphemes
Jesus deceives
And the resurrection becomes a fraud

Scripture never teaches a flat earth. Not once.
The Bible uses phenomenological language (the language of appearance), just as we do when we say “sunrise.”
Psalm 19, Job 26, Isaiah 40 none of these teach a flat earth. They teach God’s sovereignty, not geography.

Rejecting observable creation is not faith; it is folly. God is the author of both Scripture and creation. They do not contradict each other.

——————————-
Hell is real — and Jesus spoke of it more than anyone
WLC’s denial of hell directly contradicts Jesus’ own words.

Matthew 25:46 — “eternal punishment”

Mark 9:43–48 — “the fire is not quenched”

Luke 16:19–31 — conscious torment

Revelation 20:10–15 — the lake of fire

To deny hell is to call Jesus a liar.

Those who side with this false organization will get to know firsthand once they read how Hebrews 9:27 works.
————————————

Salvation by works contradicts the entire New Testament
If works are required for salvation, then the gospel collapses.

John 6:47 — “He who believes has eternal life.”

Galatians 2:16 — “Not by works of the law.”

Romans 10:8–13 — “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Ephesians 2:8–9 — “Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

If salvation depends on works, then:

Christ died for nothing
Grace is meaningless
Faith is insufficient
The cross is powerless
And no one can ever be sure they are saved

WLC’s doctrine is not the gospel. It is bondage.
——————————————
The real issue: Who do you believe — God or WLC?
IF God is right, and He is, of course, then WLC is preaching a false gospel (Galatians 1:6-9), and those who follow it are rejecting the only Savior who can redeem them.

Jesus said in John 8:24:

“If you do not believe that I AM, you will die in your sins.”

This is not a small disagreement.
This is the difference between truth and deception, between salvation and judgment.

At World’s Last Chance, our ultimate authority is the Word of Yahuwah, not the traditions of men. We welcome honest scriptural investigation, as true faith must withstand close examination.

The Identity of Yahushua the Messiah
We do not diminish the Messiah; we honor Him exactly as Scripture reveals Him.

• The Father Alone is God: Scripture strictly declares that there is only one true God, the Father (John 17:3, 1 Corinthians 8:6, 1 Timothy 2:5).
• The Son of God: Yahushua is the literal Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:35). He is not the Almighty Creator Himself, but the continuous expression of the Father’s character and the Savior of mankind.
• Scriptural Harmony: Verses like John 1:1 refer to the Logos—God’s divine purpose and blueprint—which fully manifested in the person of Yahushua. When Thomas called Him “my Lord and my God,” he recognized the Father’s authority and presence fully residing within the Son (John 14:10).

Biblical Cosmology and Creation
We do not reject creation; we reject modern secular assumptions that contradict the explicit words of the prophets.
• Literal Scriptural Geography: Scripture consistently describes a stationary, set earth covered by a physical firmament (Genesis 1:6-8, Psalm 93:1, Job 37:18).
• Not Mere Metaphor: Dismissing these descriptions as “language of appearance” undermines the literal integrity of the Creation account. We choose to believe the literal testimony of the Bible over the shifting theories of worldly science (1 Timothy 6:20).

WLC does not follow the teachings of the organizations you mentioned. We urge all believers to lay aside inherited creeds and test every doctrine strictly by the Bible. True restoration in these last days requires returning to the pure, unadulterated truths of Scripture, no matter how unpopular they may be.

Dear Andy,

From a Unitarian perspective, your questions touch on the core of how we understand Yahushua’s mission versus his identity. Here is a breakdown of that perspective:

The Charge of Blasphemy (John 10:33)
The fact that the religious leaders accused Yahushua of “making himself God” doesn’t mean their accusation was accurate. In the same passage, Yahushua corrects them by asking why they charge him with blasphemy for saying “I am Yahuwah’s Son” (John 10:36). He argues from the Psalms that even human judges were called “gods.” As the one consecrated by the Father, he claims a unique authority and relationship, not his essence. We follow him because he is the sinless Messiah who perfectly represented Yahuwah, not because he claimed to be the One who sent him.

Revelation 1:8, 17, and 18
In Unitarian thought, there is a clear distinction between the speakers here:
• Verse 8: This is God the Father (the Almighty) speaking. The text distinguishes “the Lord God” from the “Alpha and Omega.”
• Verses 17–18: This is the glorified Jesus. He uses the title “the First and the Last,” but notice the immediate qualifier: “I was dead, and see, I am alive forever.”

“Taking the Names” of the Almighty
As Unitarians, we see this not as an identity of being, but an identity of function.
• The First and the Last: In Isaiah, this refers to Yahuwah’s absolute sovereignty. When applied to Yahushua in Revelation, it denotes his role as the “author and finisher” of faith. He is the first to be raised to immortal life and the final word in Yahuwah’s plan for humanity.
• Agency: In the Bible, a “shaliach” (agent) can speak in the sender’s name and even bear the sender’s titles without being the sender. Yahushua carries the Father’s authority because the Father gave it to him (Matthew 28:18). If Yahushua were the Almighty, he wouldn’t need to be given authority; he would inherently possess it.

Thanks for the reply, but.. in the Jewish mind, the First and Last would still be deity due to the old testament mentions of it. Wouldn’t it?

And verse 8, you say is the Almighty.. but according to verse 8 who is the one to come?

Then what about Rev. 22. Jesus is speaking..

Revelation 22:12-13
“Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” And so on He goes stating He (Jesus) sent His angel.. (showing authority) again usingthe same languageas the Almighty?

Dear Andy,

Thanks again for your thoughtful and respectful engagement.

For us, as Biblical Unitarians, the use of shared titles does not imply shared identity or “being” the same person. Here is how that viewpoint addresses your specific points:

1. The “First and Last” Title
While “First and Last” is used of Yahuwah in the Old Testament (Isaiah 44:6), Unitarians argue [and I hope you, too, would agree] that Yahuwah can bestow His titles or authority upon His human agent (Yahushua) without Yahushua becoming Yahuwah. Just as a King’s ambassador speaks with the King’s authority, Yahushua uses these titles because he is the “first and last” in Yahuwah’s new creation—the first to be raised to immortal life and the one who will complete Yahuwah’s plan and the new creation.

2. The “One Who is to Come” (Rev 1:8)
In Revelation 1:8, the speaker identifies as the “Almighty.” As Unitarians, we have noted that throughout Revelation, “The Almighty” is a title reserved exclusively for the Father, never for Yahushua.
• The distinction: Revelation 1:4-5 clearly distinguishes “Him who is, was, and is to come” from “Yahushua Christ.”
• The meaning: Yahuwah is the one who “comes” in judgment and through the arrival of His Kingdom, which He executes through Yahushua.

3. Revelation 22:12-13 and Agency
Again, as Unitarians, we have noted that Revelation is a complex vision in which the speakers (Yahuwah, Yahushua, and angels) often blend. However, even if Yahushua is the one speaking in 22:13, it still follows the Principle of Agency, which, in Jewish writings, denotes the following premises:

• The agent of Yahuwah acts with the full authority of Yahuwah.
• Yahushua claims the “Alpha and Omega” title here because he has been granted all authority (Matthew 28:18) to bring the “reward” from Yahuwah.
• The distinction remains in verse 16, where Yahushua identifies himself not as the Father but as the “offspring of David,” thereby emphasizing his human lineage.

In short, using the same language shows that Yahushua is Yahuwah’s supreme and ultimate representative, but it doesn’t make him the “Almighty” source of that authority.

I hope I have adequately addressed your points.

In Father Yahuwah’s Love,
Galal.

Yes, you have made your point clearly. But….

Its twisting scriptures. You seem to be cherry picking. What i mean by that is whenever a verse os clearly about Jesus in the context of Him speaking if He takes a title of the Father, then you split the context.. exactly what the JW or Muslims do.

God said He wont share His glory with another, yet you have acknowledged the glory sharing in the verses i presented. Calling it a shared agent doesn’t cut it. Anyone taking the titles of the Almighty is a blasphemer unless it true, the persons of God.

These verses give no hint of changing speakers within the context. Its intellectually dishonest to say so.

I bid you well and you keep examining the scriptures.

Conside how closely aligned with Islam and the JWs which are both Christian cults you are getting to…
Bye

So John was lying when he said “in the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God… And the word became flesh.” if that is not speaking of Jesus… Please explain!

Dear James,

John wasn’t lying, but rather trinitarian interpretations often misidentify the “Word” as a pre-existent person named Jesus. Instead, we as Unitarians typically view the “Word” as Yahuwah’s own mind, purpose, or creative power—which is not a separate person from Yahuwah but is Yahuwah Himself in action.

Here is how a Unitarian like WLC would explain those specific verses you referred to in John 1:

• “In the beginning was the Word”: This refers to Yahuwah’s eternal plan or wisdom, as in Proverbs 8, where it describes divine wisdom. It is not a second divine person but the “blueprint” of creation.
• “The Word was God”: Just as a man’s word is essentially the man himself, Yahuwah’s Word is God. It represents His self-expression and authority.
• “The Word became flesh”: This is the moment the “plan” became a person. Yahushua did not “move” from heaven to earth; rather, Yahuwah’s long-foretold purpose was fully embodied and realized in the human person of Yahushua at his birth.
• The core difference: As Unitarians, we believe Yahushua is the Son of Yahuwah who represents Yahuwah to us, not “God the Son” in a Trinity. We argue that if Yahushua were truly God, he could not be “with” Yahuwah in the same sense.

In short, John is saying that Yahuwah’s eternal plan was manifested in a human being, but that human being (Yahushua) had a beginning and remains distinct from the one true God, the Father.

galal.

John 12:41- “These things Isaiah said because he saw His glory, and he spoke of Him.”

Who is the “Him” that John speaks of in this verse? Who did Isaiah see in Isaiah 6?

From a Unitarian perspective, the “Him” in John 12:41 refers to Yahushua, but the context of what Isaiah saw is different.
In Isaiah 6, Isaiah saw the glory of Yahuwah on His throne. However, John argues that Isaiah also saw a vision of the Messiah’s future glory. By the Spirit of prophecy, Isaiah “saw” Yahshua’s day and spoke about him.
To us as Unitarians, this doesn’t mean Yahushua is Yahuwah. Instead, it means Isaiah witnessed Yahuwah’s plan and the future honor Yahuwah would give to His human son. Just as Abraham “saw” Yahushua’s day and was glad, Isaiah saw the light of the coming Christ while standing in the presence of the one true God.

y’all are crazy. I’m excited to die and be dead tho, eternal life (even if its perfect) sounds like a nightmare.

Eternal life isn’t just “more time” or a boring waiting room. It is a deep journey into Yahuwah, who is the source of all beauty and truth. You wouldn’t get bored because there is always something new to discover in an infinite being. In Yahuwah’s presence, boredom is actually impossible.
