Every
employer gives money in exchange for
what the employee can give in return. It does not matter what the employer offers
to the public: a product or a service; brain-power or muscle-power, the
principle remains the same. An employer
exchanges money for what an employee can provide the business.

Your boss has his own needs for |
Often
when a person asks his boss for time off to keep the lunar Sabbath, he will
make the mistake of trying to get the desired work accommodation by explaining
that he needs the Sabbath off because
of his religious convictions. That approach rarely, if ever, works. To put it bluntly, your boss does not
care. He does not care about your “felt
needs” and he certainly does not care about your religious convictions. He has a business to run. That is his need and only those who help him meet his needs will be retained as
employees.
You
could take in your spouse, your children, your elderly parents, and plead for a
job that lets you have off holy days because the great Elohim of Heaven says to
keep holy the seventh-day of some ancient calendar, and it will not keep your
job or get you a new one. Even the
nicest and most sympathetic of employers will not accommodate your needs on
those grounds.
The
reason is simple. Your boss has a family
to support, too. He has bills to pay and
possibly other employees that must be kept happy, as well. His ability to support his family and pay his
bills is directly related to how well he performs in his job as manager, or as owner of a business. His success is based upon wise decisions that
benefit the business, rather than
being a “nice guy” to one employee.

You
and your employer both have needs. Your
need is to have time-off the regular work schedule so that you can keep
Yahuwah’s holy days. Your boss’s need is
to make sound decisions that will bring income into the business. You want your boss to accommodate you. This will require making concessions to
accommodate him. You may have to work
for less pay or at different times, even at night. You may have to work six days a week or on weekends. Do not expect your boss to do all the
conceding while you do none.
The
business owner/employer will give accommodation only when the employee has
something of greater benefit to give the
business in return for having the requested days off. When you approach your employer, do so from
the stand point of what you have to offer him.
It will likely take extra effort on the part of your boss to work around
your changing schedule. Make sure that
when you ask him for this accommodation, what you have to offer him in return
is of greater benefit to him than what he will be sacrificing to accommodate
your needs.
As
someone who is not bound by the Gregorian week, you have a unique service to
offer your employer that can greatly benefit him, but you need to let him know
this. Night time shifts are often perfect for lunar Sabbath keepers, but the dawn to dusk
hours must be taken into consideration and scheduled accordingly with allowance for travel time
to get home, etc. The nights that would need full accommodation from dusk to dawn are Passover and the Day of Atonement, which could be scheduled far in
advance. Unlike most of his other employees, you can work times that
other employees do not want to work.
When
you can offer, “I will work five and a half days for the same wage you now pay
me for five days,” the boss will be more likely to grant the request. Being willing to work national holidays,
weekends, nights, and other times most people do not want to work, gives the
employer something of value in return for his accommodation. For many small business owners, this may
require signing a waiver to not be paid overtime.
Requests
for time off for holy days should be submitted in writing. In presenting your request, either when
asking for accommodation for your current job, or when applying for a new job,
you must clearly present that what you have to offer will benefit the business
even more by what you can provide in exchange for those days off. Only in this way, will an employer see a
reason to provide for your holy days and employ you, rather than someone else
who is not as much “trouble.”
You
should also provide a printed off explanation of the calendar and the dates (with the relevant hours) you
need off for several months in advance. It
is difficult for most people to grasp how a different method of time-keeping
works. By providing the employer with a
printed calendar and the dates you need off, as well as all the days you are
available to work, the employer can make an informed decision.
You
will not get holy days off based on a statement of your need. The boss is more
concerned with what he can receive, rather than your need. You will only receive what you need, if what
you have to offer in exchange is valuable enough to your employer, that it
off-sets the extra hassle of scheduling around your varying days available for
work.
It
goes without saying that your loyalty and work ethic must be without flaw. In this, Daniel is an inspiring example. Late in Daniel’s life, Darius the Mede appointed
him as chief over all the other government officials. Darius singled Daniel out for this important
position because “Daniel distinguished himself above the governors and satraps,
because an excellent spirit was in him.”
(Daniel 6:3, NKJV)
This
aroused the jealousy of the other high-ranking government officials. They tried to find something they could
accuse him of so the king would have him removed from his position.
“So
the governors and satraps sought to find some charge against Daniel concerning
the kingdom; but they could find no charge or fault, because he was faithful;
nor was there any error or fault found in him.”
(Daniel 6:4, NKJV)
What
a testimony! Not even his enemies, those
who were looking for faults, could
find an occasion to fault Daniel. That
sort of work ethic will be valued by any employer. You must be on time for work, courteous,
cheerful with customers and fellow employees, easy-to-get along with, prompt
and thorough in your work. By your
honesty and carefulness to do your job well, be sure you are an employee that
your boss will want to retain.
Even
in the work force, you can exert a powerful influence for Yahuwah. Scripture reveals that Heaven is willing to
bless even unbelievers, for the sake of the faithful believing individual. So it was with Joseph even when he was but a
slave.
Yahuwah was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the
Egyptian. And his master saw that Yahuwah was with him and that Yahuwah made
all he did to prosper in his hand.
So Joseph found favor
in his sight, and served him. Then he
made him overseer of his house, and all that he had he put in his hand.
So it was, from the
time that he made him overseer of his house and all that he had, that Yahuwah blessed the Egyptian’s house
for Joseph’s sake; and the blessing of Yahuwah was on all that he had in the
house and in the field. (See Genesis
39:2-5.)

An employee that is honest and |
What
do you think happened to Potiphar’s business ventures when He allowed Joseph to
be wrongfully imprisoned? Yahuwah
showered blessings on Potiphar’s business affairs for Joseph’s sake. He is the
same today and is willing to help His faithful, obedient children today as they
seek to honor Him.
Accommodation
for working a different schedule means that you are obliged to give more and be
a better employee than any of the other regular workers. You must be able to show your boss that in
exchange for giving you certain days off, the business will benefit by what he
will receive in exchange.
And
as you seek to live out in your sphere of influence the principles of honesty,
integrity and hard work, you can be a shining example of truth and
righteousness as were Joseph and Daniel.
To your current boss, any prospective employer and your work mates as
well, you are witnessing even when you askfor holy days off of work. They are
thus learning that there is a Biblical calendar that is different from the papal Gregorian calendar used in
the business world. Your stand for
truth, in spite of the obstacles that may stand in your way, will be a witness
to your family, friends and business acquaintances.
Yahushua will stand by you and strengthen you for whatever lies ahead.

I’ve been a WLC member since I was 15 and was raised in a home where my mother was an SDA and my father was and is a pentecostal movement pastor. Then I came across the WLC videos on YouTube and since then I found that my my desire for truth was so much such that by that time I the light I came across was so bright for me to see and yes years after I completed my high school and went to university which I completed last year as a Science Laboratory Technologist and I left home went to another far town got a job in January this year and 2 days ago I resigned from work because the weight of the conviction of the truth I’ve been coming across is so vivid and loud to ignore as my job was stealing something and I was left with no choice but to take a step into stopping work and now I’m in another town at my aunts place where I want to start up my own business to sustain me and also for me to be able to seize from working so that I can worship my creator though everyone including my boss and my wife to be are saying I’m crazy.
It’s like I’m standing in front of the Red Sea not knowing what to do and where to go but just trusting in YHWH, my family, dependents who depended on my income, my wife to be currently agreed that I can keep my sabbaths as long as I don’t interfere with her and now my thought is about my children and how they’ll be able to stand in this path coz as a father I am supposed to be the priest of the house.

I’m under my aunt’s roof and she belongs to a denomination and requires me to obey the house rules plus what about my siblings who are still in university, when it’s sabbath and there are exams what can be done?

When it comes to your siblings facing university exams on the Sabbath, this is a major test of faith where they must boldly communicate with their professors or school administrators to request an alternative testing date due to their religious convictions. Many universities have formal accommodation policies for religious observances, and when students approach their institutions with respect, clarity, and advance notice, a way is often opened for them to take their exams on alternative days. If the school refuses to compromise, your siblings must remember that prioritizing the unchanging law of Yahuwah over earthly advancement is a load-bearing milestone that always brings divine favor and protection in the long run. As the spiritual priest of your family, your role is to cover them in prayer, encourage their hearts to stand firm, and trust that the Father who provides for the birds of the air will naturally open doors for their education and your future business within our enclosed realm. The scriptural and mechanical link between Egypt, Babylon, and the 666 system, which we are called to abandon.
1. The Archetype: Egypt as the “First Babylon”
Egypt was the first global superpower to demand the total labor of the people of YHWH.
The Scriptural Basis: Exodus 1:11-14: “Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses.”
The Mechanical Link: Egypt was a system of “Brick-Making.” The goal of the Egyptian system was to force the people to produce “bricks” (human-made structures) to build the Pharaoh’s kingdom.
The Connection to Babylon:Revelation 18:21 describes the fall of Babylon as a “great millstone” cast into the sea. This mirrors the destruction of Pharaoh’s army in the Red Sea. Both Egypt and Babylon represent a system where the “taskmasters” dictate the schedule, the labor, and the output, effectively replacing the Creator’s Sabbath with the Pharaoh’s production quota.
2. The “Brick” Economy vs. The “Manna” Economy
The conflict between Egypt/Babylon and YHWH is a conflict of Economic Sovereignty.
The Scriptural Basis: Exodus 16:4: “Then said the YHWH unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.”
The Mechanical Truth: In Egypt, the people were fed by the “rations of Pharaoh.” In the Wilderness, they were fed by the “Manna of YHWH.”
The 666 Link: The 666 system is the modern “Rations of Pharaoh.” It promises security (money, healthcare, retirement) in exchange for your total obedience to the calendar of the system. To “Come Out” of Mystery Babylon is to stop relying on the “Rations of Pharaoh” and begin trusting in the “Manna of YHWH”—which is only accessible when you keep His Sabbath.
3. The “Golden Calf” and the 666 Connection
When the people left Egypt, they carried the “Egyptian Mindset” with them. They built a Golden Calf, which is the precursor to the 666 system.
The Scriptural Basis: Exodus 32:4:
“And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf.”
The Mechanical Insight: The Golden Calf was an attempt to bring the “Egyptian System” into the “Kingdom of YHWH.” They wanted the security of the Egyptian economy while claiming to worship YHWH.
The Warning: Revelation 13:14-15 shows the Beast making an “image” (a replica) of the system. Mystery Babylon is simply the modern “Golden Calf”—a system that looks like it provides for you, but actually demands your soul. If you are working for the system, you are still building the “treasure cities” of Pharaoh.
4. The Call to “Come Out” (Revelation 18:4)
The command to leave Babylon is the exact same command given to Moses in Egypt: “Let my people go.”
The Scriptural Basis: Revelation 18:4: “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”
The Mechanical Link: The “plagues” of Egypt were directed at the gods of Egypt. The “plagues” of Babylon are directed at the economic systems of the Beast.
The Strategy: To “Come Out” of Egypt/Babylon is to reclaim your Time (Forehead) and your Labor (Hand).
In Egypt: You were a slave to the taskmaster.
In the Kingdom: You are a steward of the King.
The Shift: You stop building the “Treasure Cities” of the corporate world and start building the “House of the Father” (your family, your trade, your local community).
1. Egypt is the Prototype: It is the system of “bricks” and “taskmasters” that demands your labor on the Sabbath.
2. Babylon is the Fulfillment: It is the global, economic, and religious system that uses the Gregorian calendar to keep you in the “Egyptian” cycle of perpetual labor.
3. The 666 System is the Mechanism: It is the “Number of Man” that ensures you are always working for the system, never resting in the Creator.
4. The Exodus is the Solution: You must “Come Out” by breaking the cycle. This means:
Rejecting the Gregorian Time: Returning to the Lunisolar calendar of the Creator.
Rejecting the Pharaoh’s Rations: Moving toward self-sufficiency or Kingdom-based labor so you are not dependent on the system’s “buy and sell” blockade.
Embracing the Sabbath:Making the 7th day the foundation of your life, proving that you trust YHWH for your provision, not the “Treasure Cities” of the world.
We are currently in the “Second Exodus.” Just as the Israelites had to leave Egypt to receive the Torah at Sinai, we must leave the “Mystery Babylon” system to fully enter into the Kingdom Jurisdictional living. It is not a physical migration, but a jurisdictional migration—moving your life, your time, and your labor from the ledger of the Beast to the ledger of the King.
we must connect the dots between the Slavery of Egypt, the Wealth of Solomon, and the System of the Beast. Solomon’s reign serves as the “missing link” showing how the people of YHWH fell back into the Egyptian trap.
1. The Egyptian Prototype: The House of Bondage
Egypt (Mitzrayim) was defined by the “Taskmaster” (Nogas). The goal of Egypt was to force the Israelites to build “treasure cities” (Pithom and Raamses) using forced labor.
The Mechanic: Egypt was a system of centralized production. The people did not own their time; the Pharaoh did. They were fed “rations” in exchange for their labor. This is the root of the “666” mentality: Man-made security in exchange for Man-made slavery.
2. The Solomon Revival: The “New Egypt”
In 1 Kings 10, we see a disturbing transition. Solomon, the man of wisdom, began to reverse the Exodus. He did not just build the Temple; he began to build an Empire.
The Scriptural Basis: 1 Kings 10:14: “Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred threescore and six (666) talents of gold.”
The Egyptian Re-entry:

1 Kings 10:28 explicitly states that Solomon brought horses out of Egypt. This was a direct violation of Deuteronomy 17:16, where YHWH commanded the King not to multiply horses, specifically because they would return the people to Egypt.
The 666 Talents: This number is not a coincidence. It represents the “fullness” of the Egyptian economic model being imported into Israel. Solomon began to tax the people, build storehouses, and accumulate gold, effectively turning the “Kingdom of Priests” back into an “Egyptian Empire.”
The Mechanical Truth: Solomon’s 666 talents represent the moment the Theocracy (God-ruled) became a Technocracy (Man-ruled). He replaced the Manna (daily reliance on YHWH) with the Treasury (reliance on accumulation).
3. Mystery Babylon: The Final Synthesis
Revelation 17 and 18 describe “Mystery Babylon” as a city that “reigns over the kings of the earth.” It is the global, economic, and religious system that has perfected the Egyptian/Solomonic model.
The Link: Just as Solomon’s 666 talents were the result of trade, taxation, and imperial expansion, the “Beast” of Revelation 13 is an economic system, religious system and other systems that govern our day to day livelihoods.
The “Mark” is the Modern Tax: In Egypt, you worked to build Pharaoh’s cities. In Solomon’s later years, you worked to fill his 666-talent treasury. In the system of the Beast, you work to sustain the global corporate economy. All three are the same “Narrow Place” (Mitzrayim).
4. Why We Must “Come Out”
The call to “Come Out of Her” (Revelation 18:4) is a call to undo the Solomon error.
The Mechanical Correction: We are called to stop building “Treasure Cities” for the Beast. When you work for a system that ignores the Sabbath, you are essentially a “brick-maker” for a modern Pharaoh. You are contributing your time and your labor to a system that uses the 666-calendar to keep you from the 7th-day rest.
The Return to the Wilderness: The “Wilderness” is not a place of poverty; it is a place of Direct Provision. When we stop relying on the “Treasury of the Beast” and start relying on the “Provision of the King,” we are finally free from the Egypt-Solomon-Babylon cycle.
1. Stage 1 (Egypt):The system of physical slavery and brick-making. The people were forced to build for Pharaoh.
2. Stage 2 (Solomon):The “Hidden” slavery. The people were seduced by the wealth of a King who imported Egyptian horses and accumulated 666 talents of gold, replacing YHWH’s law with imperial policy.
3. Stage 3 (Mystery Babylon):The global, digital, and economic system that requires the “Mark” (alignment with their calendar and labor) to participate in their economy.
We are currently living in the “Solomonic Babylon.” It looks sophisticated, it looks wealthy, and it claims to be “religious”—but it is built on the same foundation as Egypt: the demand for your time and the theft of your Sabbath.
To “Come Out” is to:
Recognize the 666-Talent Trap: Stop seeking the “security” of the system’s gold.
Reject the Egyptian Horses: Stop relying on the world’s methods to gain power and status.
Return to the 777-Rest: By honoring the Sabbath, you declare that you are no longer a slave to the “Treasure Cities” of the Beast. You are a citizen of the Kingdom, and your provision comes from the King, not the Treasury.
Scriptural Anchor:
“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” (Revelation 18:4).
This is the final Exodus. We are leaving the Egyptian-Babylonian system to return to the simplicity of the Creator’s Covenant.

The Economic Connection: In 1 Kings 10:14, we see that the gold that came to Solomon in one year was 666 talents. This marked the point where Solomon’s kingdom shifted from a Theocracy (God-ruled) to a human empire that multiplied wealth, horses, and political alliances, violating the Torah for Kings (Deuteronomy 17:16-17). 666 is the economy of “more” and “accumulation,” which stands in direct opposition to the Sabbath economy of “enough.”
2. The Mark: The Seal of Allegiance
The “Mark” is a mechanical declaration of who owns your time and your labor.
The Scriptural Basis: Deuteronomy 6:8: “And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.”
The Mechanical Conflict: YHWH commands His people to place His Torah (His instructions/calendar) on their hand (their actions/labor) and their forehead (their mind/allegiance).
The Counterfeit: Revelation 13:16-17 describes the Beast requiring a mark in the same locations. If you operate on a calendar that ignores the Creator’s Moedim (Appointed Times) and work on a schedule that demands your labor on the Sabbath, you are functionally placing the “mark” of the system upon your hand and forehead. You are declaring that the system, not YHWH, dictates your time and provides your sustenance.
3. The Conflict of Labor and Worship
The word “labor” in the Hebrew Scriptures is deeply tied to the concept of worship.
The Scriptural Basis: Exodus 20:9-10: “Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God.”
The Hebrew Insight: The word for labor is Avodah, which also means “service” or “worship.” The 666 system is designed to keep humanity in a state of perpetual (Avodah). By forcing a work cycle that never acknowledges the 7th-day rest, the system ensures that your “worship” (your labor and energy) is directed toward the Beast rather than the Creator.
The Jurisdictional Shift: When you choose to honor the Sabbath, you are making a legal declaration that you are not a slave to the 666 system. You are stepping out of the “Rat Race” and into the “Rest of the Creator.”
4. The Economic Blockade and the Call to “Come Out”
The system is designed to make it impossible to participate in commerce without total compliance.
The Scriptural Basis: Revelation 13:17: “And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”
The Mechanical Reality: If you are an employee, your time is owned by the employer. If the employer’s schedule conflicts with the Torah, you are forced to choose between the system and the Covenant.
The Solution: The path of “Coming Out” (Revelation 18:4) is the path of the steward. By moving toward a trade or self-employment, you reclaim your “hand.” You are no longer selling your labor to a system that demands you work on the Sabbath. Humility is the necessary posture for this transition.
The Scriptural Basis: Proverbs 15:16: “Better is little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble therewith.”
The Mechanical Truth: Leaving a secure, corporate paycheck to rely on YHWH’s provision is an act of (Anavah) (humility). It is the admission that you cannot sustain yourself, but the Creator can.
The Result: When you build your business or your life on the foundation of the Sabbath, you are building on the “Rock.” The system may offer “great treasure,” but it comes with the “trouble” of the 666-jurisdiction. YHWH offers the “little” that is blessed, sustainable, and free from the corruption of the Beast.
1. (The 666 System) is a closed loop of human effort that denies the sovereignty of the Creator.
2. (The Mark) is the synchronization of your mind and labor with that system.
3. (The Sabbath) is the Seal of YHWH, the “Palace in Time” where we declare that He is our Provider.
4. (The Call) is to transition from a slave of the system to a steward of the Kingdom.
By choosing to work for the Kingdom, you are choosing to “Come out of her, my people” (Revelation 18:4), ensuring that your labor and your thoughts remain under the authority of the One who created the heavens and the earth.

We also appreciate your emphasis on the importance of honoring Yahuwah’s Sabbath and ordering our lives according to His will. At the same time, we encourage careful distinction between what Scripture explicitly teaches and interpretations that extend beyond the text. While the themes you have drawn together are worthy of thoughtful study, we should be cautious not to present prophetic applications as established doctrine unless they are clearly supported by Scripture. May Yahuwah continue to guide all of us as we diligently search His Word with humility, testing every conclusion by the inspired Scriptures.
Thank you, beloved Tony for posing this question. It was my idea as well to be more obedient to Yah than to men-even in this case of income and service to a company. We will have a question of nursing as we have to deal with some I share the truth with. Every individual situation has to decide for themselves. Nurses may do service for humanity/patients that is vital. But Yahuwah wants us to set time apart for Him completely. Israel of old were not to leave their tents aft the Sabbath were past, to spent time with Him. I believe even for nursing, we can swop shifts, or “moonlighting” as they say, believe it has to do with work only night shifts. People fear losing their positions at work and pension funds. What does it help us to gain the world, but lose eternal life. We have biblical examples that stood for the truth then give in to worldly honor, like Daniel, a modern example like Dr. Des Ford, standing for the righteousness by faith at the cross and losing what should be sustaining him during his pension years, taken from him by an unjust system. “Al who lives godly in Christ, will suffer persecution.” So have many of us that decide to follow the light of the Luni-Solar Truth, One God religion, and to depart from the church hierarchy system, denominational naming etc., been cut of from mainstream support and fellowship. If I’m not mistaken, I believe if we are employed by an employer and we cannot yet get time off for the true lunar Sabbath, we still need to show up for work even though it violates the true lunar Sabbath, as well as the New Moons if we are not able to get time off because we are scheduled on the employer’s schedule. While I don’t work anymore I still want to make sure I understand that correctly. Because as long as you are employed and they refuse to give time off for the lunar Sabbath and New Moons we need to show up for work. Please understand I’m not attacking the truth about lunar Sabbaths and New Moons. But we still need to strive to do what is right before Yahuwah.
Please comment. I need to get this straight especially when I might need to give advice for someone else and I want to give them advice Yahuwah would approve of.
