In John 1, the logos refers to Yahuwah’s spoken Word—the expression of His wisdom and will. His Word has the power to accomplish whatever He declares. John personifies this Word, and this personification has often caused confusion about the true meaning of the logos. In Hebraic tradition, personifying Yahuwah’s attributes was a common way to speak about Him without constantly repeating His sacred name. Where do you stand?
