The main thing we need to do as parents is to keep our expectations clear. We’re not raising kids just so we have someone to care for us in old age. We’re not—or we shouldn’t be—raising them just to bask in reflected glory. We’ve been entrusted with these young souls, and it’s our responsibility to raise them for Yah. Nothing more.
