The New Testament’s evangelistic message is simple: “Believe on the Lord Yahushua Christ, and you shall be saved.” However, in most denominations, belief and baptism are not enough—additional doctrines are required. Seventh-day Adventists require belief in the Trinity, Ellen White as a prophet, and Saturday worship; Methodists have 25 articles of faith, starting with the Trinity; Anglicans have 39, also beginning with the Trinity. None of this is part of the pure gospel preached by the apostles. Where do you stand?
