Yahushua promised, “Whoever loses his life for my sake will find it” (Matthew 16:25). In Scripture, loss is not annihilation but exchange. As Paul says, “I have been crucified with Christ… but Christ lives in me” (Galatians 2:20). He did not disappear; his true self was clarified, while the false self—built on autonomy, fear, pride, and control—died. Where do you stand?
