We don’t need seminary training or advanced degrees to understand truth. Seminaries can offer helpful instruction, but they also pass down the traditions and errors a denomination still holds. Our confidence can’t rest in academic credentials. What we truly need is to go to Yahuwah ourselves—seeking Him directly in His Word. He promises to teach and guide all who genuinely desire to know His truth. Where do you stand?

Most people don’t intentionally promote error. However, pastors, priests, and those employed by a denomination or church organization often have a vested interest in defending their organization’s established beliefs, even when Scripture clearly doesn’t support some teachings. Where do you stand?

There’s a real danger in putting pastors, priests, Bible teachers, or any spiritual leader on a pedestal. It’s easy to assume their teaching is always correct because they’ve studied more or hold a title. But no one is infallible—and without personal spiritual discernment, we’re vulnerable to error. If we accept someone’s word on spiritual truth without examining it ourselves, what happens if they’re wrong? There’s nothing wrong with learning from others, but we are still called to compare Scripture with Scripture to determine whether a new idea is truly accurate. Where do you stand?

The Bereans listened to Paul without dismissing his message just because it was new, yet they didn’t accept it blindly either. They examined the Scriptures to verify if his teaching was true—and Scripture praises them for it. Where do you stand?

When one is born again of Yahuwah’s spirit, he does not receive a “Person,” but rather the divine nature of Yahuwah, given to men to transform them into the image of His Son. Where do you stand?

It goes beyond the evidence of Scripture to equate the Spirit of Yahuwah with a person distinct from the one God, in the same sense that the Son is different from the Father. Where do you stand?

Yahushua did not come in his own authority, as we would expect if he was Yahuwah, but in the authority of the One who sent him. Where do you stand?

If Yahushua were Yahuwah, we would expect him to say “our work,” or at least “my work.” Instead, he says that he accomplished the work of the only true God, identifying the Father as that God. Where do you stand?Where do you stand?

An agent who comes on behalf of the sender is, by definition, not the sender. Yahushua says at least six times in the gospel of John alone that he does not speak or act on his initiative. Where do you stand?

There is no biblical evidence that Israel ever kept any festival outside of the land, in Babylon, or anywhere else without a Mishkan/Temple, a functioning priesthood, holy vessels, or korbanot. Where do you stand?

Every festival involved these offerings (Lev 23), and if you can’t have the offerings because there is no Temple, altar, or priesthood, then there is no festival as Yahuwah prescribed. Where do you stand?

The Olivet Sermon is divided into two major sections: first, Yahushua dealt with the impending destruction of Jerusalem and the “signs” that would herald that event; second, He spoke of his final return and the lack of signs that would characterize that occasion. Where do you stand?

So, by saying, “It is finished,” Yahushua was signaling to the Jewish world that there was no more need for sacrifices or temples because his work brought ultimate fulfillment to what their sacrificial system foreshadowed. Where do you stand?
