Anti-Bible Statements by Ellen White on Yahushua

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.” Matthew 7:15 ESV

wolf in sheep's clothing

It has been a few years since we chose to reject the Jesus of Ellen White. We discarded the Jesus that Ellen White upheld and started warning others not to follow that fictitious Jesus, which originated in the mind of the Greek philosopher Plato. We joyfully support instead the 100 % human Yahushua who has one nature only, whom we have come to love and worship1 after studying what He taught in the Gospels and what his disciples wrote about him. When we parted company with Ellen White’s writings for good in 2017, we did not share her writings which we found to be flagrantly contradictory to the Bible. We limited our efforts to publishing the Biblical truth for our newly acquired positions. Maybe the time has come to share samples of her writings that we found so anti-Bible, that we are embarrassed by the fact that there was a time when we took her writings seriously. We have repented of such an abject past and have always resolved to make the Bible and the Bible alone our sole source of truth.

Let us survey some of Ellen White’s teachings on the Platonic Jesus, which she upheld:

"Christ had not exchanged His divinity for humanity; but He had clothed His divinity in humanity,..."2

"This was not done by going out of Himself to another, but by taking humanity into Himself."3

"But Christ is equal with God, infinite and omnipotent. He could pay the ransom for man's freedom." - Ellen White14

"But although Christ's divine glory was for a time veiled and eclipsed by His assuming humanity, yet He did not cease to be God when He became man. The human did not take the place of the divine, nor the divine of the human. This is the mystery of godliness. The two expressions 'human' and 'divine' were, in Christ, closely and inseparably one, and yet they had a distinct individuality. Though Christ humbled Himself to become man, the Godhead was still His own"4

"He might have helped His human nature to withstand the inroads of disease by pouring from His divine nature vitality and undecaying vigor to the human. But He humbled Himself to man's nature."5

Christ "did not employ His divine power to lessen His burdens or to lighten His toil."6

"No one, looking upon the childlike countenance, shining with animation, could say that Christ was just like other children. He was God in human flesh. When urged by His companions to do wrong, divinity flashed through humanity, and He refused decidedly. In a moment He distinguished between right and wrong, and placed sin in the light of God's commands, holding up the law as a mirror which reflected light upon wrong."7

"Christ's humanity alone could never have endured this test, but His divine power combined with humanity gained in behalf of man an infinite victory.”8

"He must not call His divinity to His aid, but, as a man, He must bear the consequences of man's sin, and the Creator's displeasure toward a disobedient subject.”9

"Human nature can endure but a limited amount of test and trial. The finite can only endure the finite measure, and human nature succumbs; but the nature of Christ had a greater capacity for suffering; for the human existed in the divine nature, and created a capacity for suffering to endure that which resulted from the sins of a lost world."10

"But Christ is equal with God, infinite and omnipotent. He could pay the ransom for man's freedom."11

"The whole series of sorrows which compassed humanity Christ bore upon His divine soul.”12

"Justice demanded the sufferings of man; but Christ rendered the sufferings of a God."13

It pains us as unitarians to read what she wrote about the ‘divinity’ of Yahushua. But we share the above and will share samples of her writings on other important subjects to warn all who hold her writings in the highest esteem not to fall for such a deception.

The above statements are in dire contradiction with the Bible. We will not refute each argument she penned above, for we have published much content to expose the falsity of such teaching. It pains us as unitarians to read what she wrote about the ‘divinity’ of Yahushua. But we share the above and will share samples of her writings on other important subjects to warn all who hold her writings in the highest esteem not to fall for such a deception.

Is it any wonder that when you imbibe such teachings as the above, there is no way for the Holy Spirit to position your mind to accept any other truth that Ellen White did not endorse? Such is the current situation of millions who follow her writings. They are immunized against taking any truth that contradicts Ellen White’s writings.

So we end with this question: Can Father Yahuwah commission a prophet/messenger to deliver an end-time message to His people while allowing him/her to promote a false and destructive narrative about His Son? If you think that Yahuwah can still enlist such a confused person to be His end-time messenger, you are likely to be ready to believe us if we claim that we have a few bridges to sell at exceptional prices.

bridge-to-nowhere

1 We do not worship Yahushua as our God. We have only one God, Father Yahuwah. But we worship Yahushua not only for his vicarious death for our sins but because He has been glorified by Father Yahuwah and was made higher than the angels, and the Father has commanded that all angels worship him [See Hebrews 1:7; Psalms 97:7]. If Father Yahuwah commanded the angels, who are higher beings than humans, to worship Yahushua, how much more are we [the redeemed] should be eager to worship Yahushua? It is our joy and privilege to honor, adore, and worship our glorified Brother, Master Yahushua.
