We believe that the original manuscripts (autographs) of the Bible were free from any corruption. And that today the King James Version of the Bible still represents the inspired word of God, and is "profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works" (2 Tim 3:16, 17).

In light of our unshakeable faith that the Bible is the word of God, we will not overlook the undeniable corruptions that have crept into it over the centuries.

We believe that it is the duty of His people in these last days to become acquainted with the verses which have been corrupted.

Unincidentely, these corruptions have all been used to uphold man-made doctrines, such as the Trinity dogma. Discovering these corruptions will lead a student of the word only to confirm one's faith in the validity of true Biblical doctrines.

The following is a list of some of the blatant corruptions:

Matthew 28:19

Corrupted: "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."

Original: "Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all nations in My name."

Acts 20:28

Corrupted: "Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood."

Original: "Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of the Lord, which he hath purchased with his own blood."

Evidence: Bart D. Ehrman, in his book 'Misquoting Jesus', page 114 says the following, "But in Codex Alexanrinus and some other manuscripts, the text instead speaks of the 'the Church of Lord, which he obtained by his own blood."

1 Timothy 3:16

Corrupted: "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory." 

Original: "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: He who was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."

The 'He' in the above verse refers to Christ and not to His Father.

Corrupted: "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

Original: "For there are three that bear record, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one."
