It has been said that an education simply serves to reveal how much one does not know. Many who are hungry for information have been drawn to religions and denominations that promise exclusive knowledge to members initiated into their secret mysteries. The Rosicrucians are one such group.
True wisdom and knowledge flow from the Creator of all. “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of Yah who gives to all men liberally and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” (James 1:5) He who is the Originator, understands the secrets of existence for every living thing. No pure truth can be gained apart from Yahuwah. “The fear of Yahuwah, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.” (Job 28:28) It is here that Rosicrucians make their mistake. Many of their beliefs conflict or outright contradict Scripture. Thus, to whatever extent their beliefs contradict what Yahuwah has revealed in the Holy Bible, they are to that same extent kept from complete wisdom and understanding.
Following are some of the errors found in Rosicrucian beliefs:
- Rosicrucians teach a form of reincarnation, claiming that it is not possible to learn everything necessary in a single lifetime. The divine Life-Giver reveals in His Word that man is given one life to live, not multiple lives: “As it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: so Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” (Hebrews 9:27-28)
Furthermore, belief in consciousness after death also contradicts Scripture which declares: “For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun.” (Ecclesiastes 9:5-6)
- Rosicrucians have an incorrect conception of the nature of Yahuwah, referring to Him as an impersonal being composed of seven spirits. Rosicrucians effectually lower the Omnipotent to the level of man, while raising man to the level of Yahuwah: “ . . . The Father is the highest initiate among the humanity of the Saturn. . . .The seven spirits before the throne . . . collectively, they are God and make us the triune godhead . . . .” (See The Rosicrucian Cosmo Conception, pp. 252 and 376.) Scripture teaches that mankind is the creature; Yahwuah is the divine Creator: “For we are His workmanship, created in the Annointed, Yahushua unto good works, which Yahuwah hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:10)
Rosicrucians quote Scripture to support their various beliefs. But virtually anything can be “proven” if Bible verses are taken out of context. Only those doctrines that are consistent with the rest of Scripture are to be accepted as truth. Yahuwah invites truth-seekers to lay aside assumptions, traditions and pleasing fables. Learn of Him, the fount of all wisdom.
