While WLC continues to uphold the observance of the Seventh-Day Sabbath, which is at the heart of Yahuwah's moral law, the 10 Commandments, we no longer believe that the annual feast days are binding upon believers today. Still, though, we humbly encourage all to set time aside to commemorate the yearly feasts with solemnity and joy, and to learn from Yahuwah’s instructions concerning their observance under the Old Covenant. Doing so will surely be a blessing to you and your home, as you study the wonderful types and shadows that point to the exaltation of Messiah Yahushua as the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the conquering lion of the tribe of Judah, and the Lamb of Yahuwah that takes away the sins of the world.

Why did WLC abandon the First Visible Crescent method for determining New Moon Day in favor of the First Dawn After Conjunction method?
Question: Why did WLC abandon the First Visible Crescent method for determining New Moon Day in favor of the First Dawn After Conjunction method?
Answer: After much prayer and study, the WLC team came under the conviction that the first visible crescent method for reckoning New Moon Day was an error. The reasons are many and can be found in the link below. In this, as in all matters, it is all about the weight of evidence, the Bible being the supreme authority. Recognizing our responsibility to the world community, we do not take lightly this shift in reckoning. It is with a contrite heart that we repent of our error, and we humbly encourage all to prayerfully study this out for themselves. Praise Yahuwah for His mercy, patience, and longsuffering!
