Yirmeyahu, is that statement Scripturally based? Is this found in the New Testament? I need to know since I have children myself.

I was 'baptized' as an infant in the Lutheran church, and as an adult at 18, I realized that my first baptism was not Scriptural, and so I was baptized by the Church of Christ. Unfortunately, that church does NOT believe that baptism represents the burial of your old, sinful life and coming out of the water representing a new life/creature. They believe that baptism is the way to get the Holy Spirit, and nothing else. I learned of this just last week, and saw the Scriptures supporting this. So... I was baptized twice in the wrong manner, and both times I was rather immature both in body and in spirit. Now that I'm nearly 30, I'm feeling the urge to study the Bible and there's a foreboding feeling to boot. I can't put my finger on it, but I know I must rebaptize very soon. I've begun studying the bible everday, and I'm trying to get my two oldest children baptized, too. Please pray for me!

I TO WAS BAPTIZED TWICE IN MY LIFE, ONCE AS A CHILD OF MY OWN WILL AND THEN AGAIN AS AN ADULT, BUT SINCE I'VE CAME TO LEARN TRUTH I DON'T BELIEVE I WAS BAPTIZED THE RIGHT WAY EITHER.
MY CHILDREN HAVE NEVER BEEN BAPTIZED AND NEITHER HAS MY HUSBAND, THEY TO, WANT TO BE BAPTIZED, BUT IT IS HARD TO FIND SOMEONE WERE WE LIVE WHO THE LORD HAS ORDAINED TO DO THIS IN HIS NAME. written by enriqueto belauro, September 16, 2009

dear brothers and sisters, greetings to you in the name of our lord and saviour jesus chriat. I am Rev. k.v.prasanna kumar from India, I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal saviour in the year 1975 and taken baptism. At that I am studying, later I went back to my worldly life. But in the year 1995 God again called me to serve Him among the idle worshipers, so since 1994 I am in His ministry... but after seeing your web site I want to take REBAPTISM through your organisetion ON LINE. So kindly pray for me and tell me where I can take this baptism or not.
Thanking you, yours in Christ, Rev. k.v.prasanna kumar written by Roberto Sena, August 08, 2009
The day I was baptized (October, 13, 1984) was the most happy day in my life. It seemed that I was floating as light I have felt to be. In that time I was 21 years old and I was not ready to know the truths I have learned with the WLC team. However, there is a time for everything. Go on, servants of God, teaching the good news to those who will or will not accept it, because return of Christ is for real and people must be warned about the last chance. In Jesus, Roberto Sena.

That is Baptism before the age of accountability is not needed. the age of, when one becomes accountable for the choice one makes is 13. So as a child from birth to age 12 ,you are covered. but once you reach the age of 13 then you will be held accountable.
