While WLC continues to uphold the observance of the Seventh-Day Sabbath, which is at the heart of Yahuwah's moral law, the 10 Commandments, we no longer believe that the annual feast days are binding upon believers today. Still, though, we humbly encourage all to set time aside to commemorate the yearly feasts with solemnity and joy, and to learn from Yahuwah’s instructions concerning their observance under the Old Covenant. Doing so will surely be a blessing to you and your home, as you study the wonderful types and shadows that point to the exaltation of Messiah Yahushua as the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the conquering lion of the tribe of Judah, and the Lamb of Yahuwah that takes away the sins of the world.

It's Time for a Heart Check: Just be Honest with Yourself

The King James Version (KJV) is mostly used in these lessons. Click here to access the KJV online.

It's time for a heart check - just be honest with yourself. The only person you harm when you're not honest with yourself, the main person you harm is yourself. If you're supposed to do 50 push-ups a day on your exercise plan and you only do 25, you're cheating yourself, you hurt nobody else. Ask yourself again - where is my heart - what am I investing in? Are you more worried about the material than the spiritual? Do you spend more time chasing after money than chasing after Yahuwah and His Kingdom? Are you making deposits into your heavenly bank account so that one day you'll get a non-corruptible withdrawal and an eternal return. Are you spending time in prayer - how often do you pray. When is the last time you fasted. Have you given any of your money away this week to someone poor or someone with less than you. Did you study the Torah last week to learn how to be more obedient. Where is your heart, where's my heart. Where our treasure is, there our heart will be also. It's so important - it's of the ultimate importance.

Father Yahuwah, help all of us to take these verses into our mind and into our heart. Help us to take these verses seriously. Give us strength to fast, it's hard sometimes Father, give us the strength to do it. Help our eyes be focused more on what will last, rather than what's temporary. Give us that desire Yahuwah. Through Yahushua we pray. HAleluYAH!
